Thread: Obama Vows Bankrupt Coal Plants

This vid. is from a interview in SF in Jan. '08. He says that new coal plants can be built but it will bankrupt them because of the taxes they will have to pay for greenhouse gases. It cost a BILLION dollars per plant to add "carbon capture". If you think your electric bill is high now, it's going thru the ceiling.

Every coal producing state needs to see this asap!!

Gov. Brian Schweitzer D-Montana just helped to open a new coal mine operation in Roundup some 45 miles north of Billings. The Highwood Power station broke ground a few weeks ago just south of Great Falls, MT but environmentalists of the DEMOCRAT party are trying to stop the construction. (Court action) Funny, UNION memebers of the IBEW which support OBAMA as do the environmentalists stand to lose work if stopped. How can OBAMA keep union workers who work in factories and environmentalists happy? He can't!

The Chinses are building plenty of nuclear plants while we do nothing because of the tree huggers and Harry Reid D- NV who will not allow spent nuclear fuel to be stored in Nevada! Do a google search nuclear power + china and read about the gigawatss, not megawatts, of new Chinese power up to 2030.
