PASSENGERS NOT DECLARED DEAD

KUALA LUMPUR - The Malaysian Prime Minister has said he cannot say the plane is lost and all the 239 passengers are declared as dead, out of respect to the next of kin. Until there is actual physical evidence he is taking their feelings into account. Reports say this is making it more difficult for Malaysian Airlines, because until the government officially says the plane is lost then full compensation cannot be paid.
