(Natural News) New Founding cofounder Matthew Peterson wants to see the FBI and other federal agencies reined in from continuing to suppress “lawful speech,” otherwise the United States is headed towards “totalitarian state territory.”
In an interview with “Newsmakers,” Peterson mentioned the Twitter Files and what’s been revealed in those showing that the First Amendment is under attack by the three-letter agencies, Big Tech, and “woke capital,” all of which seek to dismantle the freedoms and liberties the country holds dear.
“We’ll be in totalitarian state territory, there’s no question about it,” Peterson said, warning that everything could change dramatically in three-to-five years if the current trajectory continues.
“I mean, remember, this went so far as the government saying, ‘You need to find evidence that there are Russians influencing the election on Twitter.’ And Twitter saying, ‘No, that’s not happening.'”
“And then [Twitter had] to be quiet about it and not even defend themselves when they knew that there wasn’t Russian interference that they could find.”
The United States government knowingly hammered a narrative about all this that it knew was false, Peterson contends, and that represents the “antithesis” of what America’s founders envision for the country.
“[The government’s actions are] the antithesis of America,” he said. “The American founding is basically contradicted by what’s happening here, over and over again. And if we don’t do something about that, we will not have free speech in this country.”

Big Government essentially merged with Big Tech: this is known as fascism

One of the biggest revelations from the Twitter Files is the collection of email exchanges between the intelligence community and Twitter higher-ups about the censorship agenda as it was playing out.
The intelligence community’s influence on Twitter turned out to be much greater than many people ever could have imagined, with actual intelligence assets having embedded themselves into the Big Tech platform’s corporate structure.
“What you first have to realize is that a lot of people from the intelligence community were already embedded in Twitter,” Peterson said. “So much so that they had their own Slack channel chat for people who are from the FBI.”
“And so, what you see with the censorship is not just a selective, ‘we don’t like this guy, we don’t like this guy.’ It’s promoting large-scale narratives, both pro and con repeatedly, again and again and again and again.”
It wasn’t just shadow-banning and censorship that the intelligence community was pushing, either. The three-letter agencies also went so far as to create fake accounts for the purpose of pushing an agenda under the guise of being independent, particularly in the Arab world, we now know.
“So, what we see is, again, direct channels from the U.S. government – both really creating fake news and deleting anything they don’t like. And people have to realize … what you see is a direct line again.”
“We should make clear that everyone claimed that this wasn’t happening, right? So, the whole world was being gaslit by Twitter and friends saying, ‘Oh, no. We’re not shadow-banning anyone. You know this is all crazy, right-wing talk.”
Thanks to the Twitter Files, all of this is now open and conclusive for the world to see. It is no longer just speculation as the proof is all there – and it is nothing short of shocking what was taking place behind closed doors.
“I think it was worse than a lot of regular people – and even experts – thought it was. I mean, Big Pharma having a direct line to censor people when it came to their thoughts and opinions about what was going on with the vaccine and covid?”
