The video from May 2011 is good..

Watch CBSNews.com's extensive interview with Breitbart from May, 2011, in which he discussed his disdain for the mainstream media and offered his perspective on the Republican presidential race:

Conservative US blogger Andrew Breitbart dies

The conservative American journalist, author and blogger Andrew Breitbart died in Los Angeles of natural causes on Thursday morning, according to an announcement posted on his Big Journalism website. He was 43 years old.

A tribute to Breitbart on Big Journalism read: 'We have lost a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a dear friend, a patriot and a happy warrior.' Photo: Brendan Smialowski/Getty Images

In the three years since launching his network of sites, Breitbart had become what Time magazine called the Internet’s “most combative conservative impresario”, through his antagonistic appearances on cable television and by publishing controversial stories other media outlets wouldn’t touch.

He revelled in baiting the Left and President Barack Obama in particular, who he described in a New York Times magazine interview as a “Marxist”. He strongly championed the Tea Party, whose fortunes rose with his after Mr Obama’s election in late 2008.

Breitbart, a lifelong resident of Los Angeles, cut his teeth as a sidekick to Matt Drudge, the secretive figure behind the Drudge Report, widely regarded as the most influential news website in the United States.

He then founded Breitbart.com, which aggregated news from the Associated Press and other news wires and was heavily linked to by the Drudge Report.

In 2005 he helped launch the Huffington Post, but parted company with its founder Arianna Huffington when her politics moved sharply to the left.

Branching out in 2009, he launched Big Government, Big Journalism and Big Hollywood, reflecting the three areas of American life which he regarded as institutionally liberal and unreflective of most Americans’ view of life.

"Most conservatives are individualists," he told Time. "For years, they've been pummelled by the collectivists who run the American media, Hollywood and Washington. The underground conservative movement that is now awakening is the ecosystem I've designed my sites to tap into."

He quickly courted controversy with a story by conservative student activist James O’Keefe purporting to show employees of the Acorn housing agency giving tips on setting up a brothel to undercover reporters. Its veracity was later questioned when it emerged that clips of O’Keefe dressed as a pimp had been inserted after the event.

Breitbart outraged the Left even further with a heavily edited story about Shirley Sherrod, a black, mid-level official at the department of agriculture. The story gave the impression that Mrs Sherrod admitted in a speech to refusing to help a white farmer 20 years previously whose views made her uncomfortable.

She was duly sacked but the full content of her speech to the National Association for the Advancement of Coloured People, the country’s main civil rights organisation, soon emerged, showing she had in fact worked to save the white man’s farm.

His biggest scoop was the scandal that led to the resignation of Anthony Weiner, a rising star in Democratic congressional ranks. One of his websites was the first report that Weiner had sent obscene images of himself to women over the Twitter. As Weiner issued strenous denials and suggested his Twitter account had been hacked, Breitbart stood firm and was soon vindicated.

A tribute to Breitbart on Big Journalism read: “We have lost a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a dear friend, a patriot and a happy warrior.”

So sad. Hopefully it will be investigated further since he was so young...and a thorough autopsy done. Supposedly he had an interview with Sheriff Arpaio last night.

There is so much going on and I hope and pray further information will come out on all that is going on today....I have the worst feeling right now about everything

Andrew Breitbart never avoided confrontation—he SOUGHT IT OUT. He would walk into groups of angry liberal mobs and he would talk to them. He TALKED TO THEM. He would ask protesting union workers simple questions like, “why are you here?” and “who paid for your trip?” and they wouldn’t know what to say. He proved over and over that they were all made up of smoke and mirrors.

Andrew Breitbart paved the way for EVERY ONE OF US to be Citizen Journalists. He made sure that we regular Conservatives would feel competent enough to fight the force that is the mainstream media. He wrote his book “Righteous Indignation” to remind us that we each needed to feel confident enough to SPEAK OUT when we see something wrong. He encouraged us to blog and write articles and make videos when we knew something wasn’t being told correctly. He told every one of us to STAND STRONG when we knew we were being treated badly in a PC world where our values and principles were taking a back seat to the liberal agenda.

Andrew Breitbart: Bulldog for the CausePosted on March 2, 2012 by Conservative Byte

A few words about Andrew Breitbart. I’ve known Andrew Breitbart since the 1990s when he was working with Matt Drudge to help produce that page, the Drudge Report, each and every day. He grew up in West Los Angeles, surrounded by liberals, father-in-law Orson Bean, the comedian. Sometime during the 1990s, the early nineties, Breitbart had an awakening. He was constantly questioning what was all around him, which was really extreme liberalism, and he became, as many of you in the audience know, a bulldog. He literally was an indefatigable bulldog for the conservative cause. He did things that nobody else has done on the Internet where there are a lot of players. He accomplished quite a lot, much more than a lot of people.

A lot of people get into the business for a number of reasons. His was to effect change. He really sought to effect change above everything else. A lot of people get into it to make a name for themselves. He was about that, too, of course, but he really was about effecting change, and he did on numerous occasions with ACORN, Anthony Weiner, Shirley Sherrod, just to name three of his most famous examples. But he was a bulldog. He was walking outside his home in his neighborhood in Brentwood just after midnight, keeled over. People had talked to him two hours prior, he sounded perfectly fine. They’re shocked. Family’s stunned. I mean there were some reports of health problems, but there was no indication of this.

So everybody’s in a state of shock today trying to make sense of it. And when something like this happens to somebody a lot of people know at a very young age, you could say he died too young by half, he’s 43, life expectancy in the early eighties. You’re reminded once again, it’s become a cliche but it’s worth mentioning. You only get one life, and most people don’t get as much out of it as they could. Human nature. And one of the reasons that most people don’t get the most out of their lives that they can is they can’t stop thinking about themselves. And the more you think about yourself the more depressed you’re gonna get. Human nature. The more you think about yourself, the less you are aware of things going on outside your sphere. It’s hard not to do that, and Breitbart did that.

On March 1, 2012, a notice on breitbart.com said that Breitbart had
died unexpectedly from natural causes earlier that day in Los Angeles.
He was 43 years old. A bystander saw him collapse while on a walk in Brentwood shortly after midnight and called paramedics, who rushed him to the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center where he was declared dead.

Mr. Breitbart has caused quite a stir among the Leftist in the past few years. The 2009 Acorn Undercover Video Scandal, the resignation of Shirley Sherrod for racist remarks at an NAACP fundraising dinner in March 2010, and just recently at the CPAC convention in Washington DC.

It was at the CPAC convention where Breitbart said he will release video's on Barack Obama because Obama was never properly vetted in the 2008 election. "The videos will greatly affect the 2012 election and I will release them just before November" stated Breitbart.

Breitbart was married to Susannah Bean, the daughter of actor Orson Bean and had four children that he will leave behind.

Here is a his famous CPAC speech where he threatened the Obama Regime.

Conservative blogger Andrew Breitbart claims he will release film of US President Barack Obama from his college years that will expose the president’s radial and racist roots.

themadjewess.com: I do NOT believe Breitbart died of ‘natural causes’, AT ALL.

He just ‘collapsed?’ With all of the information he had. YEAH RIGHT. The same way everyone around Hillary Clinton ‘just died’ ~SURE.

Breitbart, no doubt has been murdered. By the left. Period. He had videos of Obama from his college days. He knew too much, he was a ‘threat’ to these FKING MURDERERS.

Maybe this weapon brought the heart attack on?

    Breitbart’s Legacy

Written by Gary North on March 5, 2012

In early February, Andrew Breitbart spoke about a March 1 surprise. A colleague posted this.

Andrew Breitbart was one of the inspirations behind our consolidation of our multiple domain names into what has become Sinclair-News-LSNewsGroup. With the announcement of Andrew’s passing overnight we could not help recalling our conversation just 3 weeks ago in Washington, DC. Andrew said on Feb 9, 2012 in Washington, DC “wait til they see what happens March first.” We are forever grateful to Andrew for telling us that our November 2011 story about Ben Smith and Politico killing the 2008 sourced story showing Obama had lied about the extent of his relationship with Bill Ayers was truthful and the media knew it was.

What was he talking about? This.

He died on March 1. That was a surprise.

So far, the promised video has not been posted.

If it gets posted, given the coincidence of his death and the deadline, it will get a lot of viewers. But the viewers will watch it because of the strange circumstances of his death.

I am not convinced that this video would have had much impact. I don’t think the pro-Obama voters care about Obama’s early connections. He has an independent voter base now, one that will not consider criticisms of him as relevant.

He thought it would be significant. I think this is the case of a man who is tightly focused on a narrow topic, when the public is just not interested. This is the curse of the specialist.

His death on March 1 was unexpected. He was 43. To have a heart attack as you are walking down the street is statistically rare. But it happens. There are no guarantees in life.

Jesus told the parable of the rich man with too much grain for his barns. He planned to build more barns. He died that night.

We must be ready to die. We should pursue our short-run plans as if we will live, but there is no guarantee that we will see the completion of these plans.

He was an entrepreneur. Every entrepreneur should have plan for others to extend his legacy. I hope he left behind an organization that will carry on his work. This should be part of every innovator’s plans.

He showed the world what a dedicated man can do with simple technology. Matt Drudge showed us the leverage of the World Wide Web in 1998. Breitbart showed us the leverage of YouTube. The Left has not recovered. Its strategy for eight decades had been control over the public’s access to information. That strategy has been overcome by digital technology.

It takes entrepreneurs to show us the way. Breitbart did this. I am glad he did it.

I would like to see his missing Obama video. But his example is of greater value than a single video. I hope his legacy inspires a generation of imitators.
