You can't follow even the simplest of posts, jtdc. Beezer is talking about my mother and her doctors. Who knows why. It's sick. No one wonder the doctors ask Beezer for ID when she goes to the doctor. Sorry Beezer, but two can play this!

She already has ID and is in the system...expired or not. Like they are going after 70 year old liars. That is not the issue here.
I don't think you are taking my post the way I meant it or I wrote it wrong. I am not implying that 70 year old's lie for Pete's sake!
I am saying that illegal aliens do have FAKE IDS' and they do vote in our elections and they need to check ID's and go after those people who fraudulently vote in our elections and vote multiple times.
Motor Vehicle Departments are automatically registering to vote and I do not agree with this. You should register to Vote at the Voter's Registration office and your documents should be checked and vetted. Too much fraud in the DMV with this now by their employees.
Illegal aliens ARE registered to vote and we need a better system. That system includes National Voter ID Law and other measure to ensure the security of our voting system and audits put in place.
Your ID also confirms your current address on it to be matched with your Ballot.
We need to pass National Voter ID Law. And even if your mother's ID is expired it can be renewed. You can renew ID's on line. You are making a big deal out of nothing.
For people to be defiant and say they cannot go get an ID is baloney. They can sure manage to get out, visit family, go to the store, go out to eat, shop, get to the Doctor...but cannot manage to go get ID...LOL.
And now you are calling me "sick" because I stated that when people go check into the Doctor office or hospital they must have ID and proof of insurance so records are updated and you are who you say you are! That is a fact...nothing "sick" about it.
So you weren't referring to my mother as a liar? That's how it came across. jtdc thought you were calling me a 70 year old liar and I'm neither one. So I think it was confusing and I'm pretty heated about this whole thing after 15 pages of attacks, insults, rudeness, inquisitions, and so forth simply because I gave you a real example of an American citizen who doesn't have a photo ID and the reasons for it to answer your question "who doesn't have a photo ID?"
Sure there are lots of older people who do all the things you mention, and you know about them, because you see them when they're out and about. Apparently, you don't know about the ones who don't, because you don't see them, because they aren't out and about which makes them not only Forgotten Ones, they're Invisible.
I just told you I implied no such thing. Sorry I did not make my one sentence a full page explanation of that point and it was taken the wrong way. In your "heat of the moment" you came out slinging against people who do not agree with your views on National Voter ID Law.
No one is insulting you or your mother and I certainly did not.
We are simply stating our views on obtaining an ID and that everybody can get an ID or get help to get an ID...or they ARE EXEMPT in extreme cases where they cannot. But you do not want to hear that.
We totally get your position that you are vehemently against it.
And we stated our reasons why we support it.
Now you are talking about forgotten people? There are plenty of Senior Centers and resources available for those who need help to get an ID or anything else they may need. No they are not forgotten...we have people in positions that will help them. That is simply false that people are forgotten.
If people do not have Photo ID...there are resources to go get one or help to get one. They refuse to get one, their choice. A lot of things you CANNOT do without ID and voting should be one of them, or you get exemption if you are unable to.
If I do not have ID to fly on a plane because I CHOOSE not to get one...then I will not be permitted on the plane.
Are you sure your are not using drugs? You see something that isn't there. You mother didn't post here, that I'm aware. So why would anybody accuse someone, who said nothing, of lying?
Another hallucination! You said your mother is 81 years old. That would make her 11 years old when she had you. Get a grip on reality! I asked you, tongue-in-cheek, if your were 70 and sensitive about that. You have gone ballistic!Quote:

As for the thread continuing for 15 pages ...... well, Judy's not exactly known for giving someone else the last word. That's not an insult, just a personal observation based on many previous debates with her. ;)
We're all pretty firm in our position on this, so I don't suspect anyone is going to change anyone else's mind. Looks like everyone on this thread, with the exception of Judy, supports photo voter ID laws.
