(Natural News) Chicken farmers all over the United States are taking to social media to warn that their flocks are dying and that tainted chicken feed may be the culprit.
In several videos that have gone viral on social media, farmers documented how their hens have been acting bizarrely recently, with many hens substantially decreasing their egg laying output while others stopped laying eggs altogether.
These farmers are almost unanimous in their certainty that their commercial chicken feed is to blame for their hens’ decreased output, as many of the farmers noted stark improvements in the health of their hens after they switched to different feeds. (Related: Is our own government trying to starve us? Whistleblower reveals U.S. government behind attacks on America’s food infrastructure.)
“Okay, so something really weird is going on,” wrote one farmer on his Facebook account. “I have called multiple farms that sell chickens and they are all telling me that their chickens have stopped laying eggs and therefore they do not have any for sale.”
“I looked into it a little further and apparently they are putting something in the feed to stop them from being able to lay eggs!” he continued. “If you have chickens and are having the same thing happen, try to start feeding them with a rice and pinto bean mix because it seems anything made as feed is being tainted with something that is causing this!”
One person going by the username “Urban Chicken Farmer” on TikTok went viral recently as he discussed how his hens were not laying any eggs. “I am pretty sure that the food was the problem,” he said. However, he insists there is no overarching government conspiracy to sabotage the food supply. Instead, he feels the corporations that supply America’s chicken farms with feed are colluding with the owners of factory farms that produce eggs to stifle any potential competition.
“Is it a conspiracy by the government? No, I don’t necessarily think that,” he said. “But I do think corporations are greedy. A lot of companies that own factory farms for eggs also own the same companies that we buy our feed from – and egg prices are crazy… I wouldn’t put it past them.”
Contaminated feed may be at least partially responsible for egg shortage

The distressing news regarding the potential sabotage of the commercially-produced chicken feed comes as an egg shortage crisis hits supermarkets across the United States, forcing operating costs for manufacturers to surge and prices for consumers to similarly skyrocket. Government officials have blamed the situation on avian influenza, or bird flu. The testimonies of many farmers on social media suggests this is not the case.
The average price of eggs increased by nearly 60 percent in December 2022 compared to a year earlier, according to the recent Consumer Price Index report. Another recent report by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) noted that “shell egg prices remain at unappetizing levels in retail outlets relative to other proteins.”
Only six states in the Midwest – Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Ohio – sold eggs for under $4.50 a dozen. Missouri has the cheapest average price for eggs in the country at $4.24 a dozen.
In six states, egg prices were over $6 a dozen – Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Hawaii and Nevada. Hawaii has the most expensive eggs at $9.73 a dozen.
The USDA claims that these historically high prices for a dozen eggs have “begun to ease,” but any retreat from these high prices has not quite reached American consumers yet.
Brian Moscogiuri, a global trade strategist at Irvine, California-based egg supplier Eggs Unlimited, noted that there is traditionally a 20 to 30 percent drop from seasonal high egg prices in January and February lows. Furthermore, it will take some time for retail pricing to respond to wholesale market changes.
Curt Covington, senior director of partner relations at agriculture finance company AgAmerica, noted that inflated egg prices tend to decline during the first half of 2023 due to the decrease in demand for eggs after the holidays.
“But if input costs continue to increase and the bird flu continues to kill large quantities of hens, the costs will likely be passed on to consumers,” said Covington.

Commercial egg farm in Connecticut goes UP IN FLAMES over the weekend; more than 100,000 chickens lost as egg prices explode

(Natural News) Another American food facility went up in flames over the weekend, resulting in the destruction of more than 100,000 egg-laying hens.
A massive Hillandale Farms chicken coop facility in Bozrah, Conn., caught fire on Saturday afternoon, producing a blaze and smoke plumes so large that more than 100 firefighters were called to the scene to extinguish it.
A 50-foot by 600-foot operating room at the facility on Schwartz Road is where the fire first began, according to firefighters. Crews from 16 surrounding departments were called out to fight the fire, including from the areas of Colchester, East Haddam, Salem, Gardner Lake, Lebanon, Franklin, Yantic and Sterling, Taftville, Montville, Oakdale, and Lisbon.
Because of water issues, even more tankers than originally planned had to be called onto the scene as firefighters investigated to see what may have caused the fire. The Salvation Army was also brought in to provide food and nourishment to the first responders.
The Department of Agriculture (DoA) has been in touch with the leadership at Hillandale, though little is known about what has transpired ever since.
Fires, inflation, and tainted feed: is someone trying to destroy America’s food supply?

Hillandale might not sound familiar to the average person, but it turns out that it is one of the top-five egg producers in the United States. Across its many chicken coops, the company raises more than 20 million egg-laying birds.
The fact that one of its facilities burned to the ground is suspicious considering the fact that America is currently in the throes of an egg shortage crisis. (Related: The government is blaming “bird flu” for this lack of eggs.)
Because of insufficient feed supplies and other unknown factors, egg prices are skyrocketing in many areas of the country as the government forces some companies to kill off potentially “infected” birds suspected of having “avian flu” – and now this fire at Hillandale, which is making matters even worse.
Another factor contributing to the crisis is potentially tainted animal feed that some farmers say is causing their hens to no longer lay eggs. Wintertime in the Northern Hemisphere is already a problematic time for egg-laying, and now some farmers’ birds are no longer laying any eggs at all.
All of this is happening as fire after fire mysteriously burns down critical food supply infrastructure across the country. Dozens upon dozens of food facilities in the past several years have gone up in flames just like Hillandale did over the weekend – is it a coincidence or is this all being coordinated?
On its website, Hillandale confirmed that one chicken house was lost in Bozrah “and that no other buildings were compromised.”
“We are deeply grateful that no employees were hurt in the fire,” the company added. “Although it remains under investigation, we are working with local and state authorities to determine the cause. We appreciate the tremendous response from local fire departments for their swift action and for the continued support from across our industry.”
“Two essential amino acids for egg production have been removed from commercial feed, and it has been done intentionally and on purpose – change your feed immediately,” one commenter wrote about the Tractor Supply chicken feed scandal.
“Use local feed mills. If you have to drive, then drive and buy bulk. Lysine and methionine.”
Another wrote that what is happening to the food supply right now is reminiscent of what is talked about in Revelation 6 concerning the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

Fire At New Zealand's Largest Egg Farm Kills 75,000 Hens Amid National Shortage

    MONDAY, FEB 06, 2023 - 09:20 PM

The latest major food supplier to go up in flames, after decades of food suppliers not going up in flames, is New Zealand's largest egg producer - after a blaze broke out on Monday, killing around 75,000 hens.

The fire at Zeagold farm had "taken the better part of the day to contain," according to the company, adding that twelve workers on the site were "unharmed but very distressed."

Prior to the fire, New Zealand farmers estimated that the country needed another 300,000 hens to deal with a national egg shortage, The Guardian reports.

The spokesperson added that while it was still too early to assess how much the fire would affect the supply chain, "There will be some impact obviously – it’s not a great thing to happen in the middle of a shortage."
New Zealand has been in the grip of an egg shortage since the start of the year, when it put an end to battery farming. The ban had been in the works since 2012 and battery hen numbers had dropped over time to make up just 10% of overall egg production – but their final outlawing at the start of January has still been enough to jolt the egg supply chain, leaving supermarket shelves empty, shop owners policing tray purchases and big-breakfast lovers bereft.
The shortage has reached the point of contention: one small-town supermarket banned a cruise ship crew from further egg purchases after they cleared the shelves; newspapers have issued advice columns on egg-free baking and tofu scrambles; and in January, the SPCA released an advisory telling New Zealanders not to engage in kneejerk purchases of back yard poultry, after concerns that a rise in amateur chicken ownership would result in the animals not being properly cared for. -The Guardian
"Egg supplies are tight, so this will not assist in any way," said Michael Brooks, executive director of the Egg Producers Federation.
The fire comes roughly one week after one of America's top egg suppliers, Hillandale Farms, burned down, killing up to 100,000 chickens.
