ARMED BLACK PANTHERS TO TEXAS COPS: ‘WE WILL START CREEPING UP ON YOU IN THE DARKNESS’

HOUSTON, Texas – Armed Black Panther members marched in front of the Waller County jail and shouted, “You’re gonna stop doing what you’re doing, or we will start creeping up on you in the darkness.”

The statement was made just two weeks prior to the assassination of a Harris County deputy sheriff.

Shannon Miles, a black male, allegedly came “creeping up” behind Harris County Deputy Darren Goforth in the darkness on the night of August 28. While Goforth stood at a convenience store pumping gas into his patrol vehicle, Miles allegedly raised a pistol and shot him dead.

The comments, made by a leader of the Houston-based chapter of the New Black Panther Party, were captured on a short video clip (below) from the scene by the Houston Chronicle. The writers from the Chronicle made no mention of the threat in their article published that same day.

Not part of a chant, the march leader, wearing the rank of colonel, shouted directly to Harris County mounted deputies through a megaphone. “You think we’re not pissed off a bunch about y’all killing our sisters? You think it’s okay? [We’re] the wrong n***ers to mess with. You’re gonna stop doing what you’re doing, or we will start creeping up on you in the darkness.”

The rally, also covered by Breitbart Texas, took place at the Waller County Jail where inmate Sandra Bland took her own life by hanging herself with a trash bag after her arrest following a traffic stop in the town of Prairie View. She was accused of an illegal lane change and assaulting a police officer. After being left in jail by her family for three days, Bland hung herself.
In the video below, Breitbart Texas recorded several other violent statements towards police. “The revolution is on… Off the pigs,” and “Oink Oink… Bang Bang!,” was the message leveled by the heavily armed Black Panthers directly at Harris County deputies who had been asked by the Waller County Sheriff to come out to help keep the peace.

Two weeks later, a black man, Shannon Miles, allegedly walked up behind Deputy Goforth and shot him in the head and back fifteen times, according to a Breitbart Texas report on Miles’ first court appearance.

The Waller County jail is located just over 30 miles from the Chevron station where Goforth was executed. The alleged killer, Shannon Miles, also attended the same university as Sandra Bland. It is possible that her arrest and subsequent suicide could have played a role in Miles’ possible motivation.

About 25 members of the Black Panthers marched in front of the Waller County Jail in Hempstead Wednesday to protest the arrest of Sandra Bland and other cases they characterized as "crimes against black people."

A huge contingent of law enforcement officers was on hand for the protest, which lasted for about two hours and led to no violence or arrests. On Sunday, protesters were forcibly evicted after storming the jail's lobby. Two elderly people were injured.

Bland, 28, was found hanged in her Waller County Jail Cell on July 13, three days after a state trooper arrested her after an altercation at a traffic stop. Her death was ruled a suicide, but questions continue about whether the arrest was appropriate.

Wrong state for the s.o.b.'s to instigate their race war. Do they think that Texan's are not armed? It is all going to get much more interesting before it gets better.

If Obama is/can not handle this, who thinks another black President Carson will do better? Black unrest likely over Obama's unfulfilled promises. A strong white ptrdifrny elected will cause these to quiet down somewhat.

Look, everyone, we need to be really careful about attacking protesters. We can't deny the discrimination that still exists and is rampant in our country to this day against black Americans. We know from the crime statistics that police target blacks, black communities, and kill more blacks than any other group. This is what black Americans are protesting. No, they should not in my opinion threaten cops and obviously should not attack them. I agree that is wrong. But the threats are just free speech derived from centuries of being treated unfairly. When a verbal threat crosses the legal line, then sure, take legal action, and when the threat becomes a criminal act, then obviously take legal action. Until then, it's just free speech and the right to protest.

Black Lives Matter is a good theme, it's a good message, and worthy of our respect and support. We need to be very careful about blaming that message for illegal actions.

To police officers, you are so important to our society, but you know you've done wrong against black Americans in many many instances. Not all of you, of course, but all of you know that many in your ranks have done so and are continuing to do these things today, yet none of you stand up and expose it, you feel for some untold reason you must protect the thin blue line even when it's done wrong and is continuing to do so and go so far as to deny it when the statistics prove otherwise.

Most Americans have gotten past the white/black thing. It's time you did as well.

Personally, I believe ending the War on Drugs with a legalization, regulation, education and taxation under the FairTax would go a long ways in helping you do that.
