    The 74-25 roll call by which the Senate approved a $700 billion rescue package for Wall Street aimed at preventing a credit crisis.

    On this vote, a "yes" vote was a vote to approve the package and a "no" vote was a vote against it.

    Voting "yes" were 39 Democrats, 34 Republicans and 1 independent.

    Voting "no" were 9 Democrats, 15 Republicans and 1 independent.

    GeorgiaPeach - Thank you for posting the link to the "Blue Dog Coalition" of conservative Democrats. It may just be grasping at straws, but the news that members of this group may consider voting against a second bailout bill because it contains tax cuts which will add to the deficit is at least a new angle to work on.

    I am so angry I could spit fire. These traitors knew that the majority of Americans said NO. They didnt care. They voted for big business and special interest groups and didnt give a damn about the American people.
