TSA continues to hire child porn criminals

(NaturalNews) A statewide crackdown on sexual deviants in Massachusetts has led to the arrest and criminal charge of U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) screener Jose E. Salgado, a 59-year-old from Chelsea that had been working at Logan International Airport in Boston. Salgado had apparently been in possession of and was distributing pornographic images of young children, a disgusting crime that is quickly proving to be quite common at the TSA.

According to the Huffington Post, Salgado has been suspended, but not necessarily fired, from his position at the TSA while the investigation moves forward (Breaking News and Opinion on The Huffington Post). Meanwhile, Sgt. Michael Hill, Commander of the Massachusetts Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, told reporters that the 55 individuals apprehended as part of the child pornography sting are "just a drop in the bucket."

Besides Salgado, at least two other TSA screeners from Massachusetts have been nabbed in recent months on charges of possessing and distributing child pornography, or for committing acts of sexual assault against children. Ex-TSA screener Andrew Cheever, for instance, was recently sentenced to three and a half years in prison for possession of child pornography (Boston News, Weather & Sports | FOX25 News Boston | MyFoxboston), while Sean Shanahan was arrested last year for allegedly sending sexually explicit text messages to a 14-year-old girl (» TSA: An Army of Pervs and Criminals Alex Jones' Infowars: There's a war on for your mind!).

The Boston Herald says that sex charges against TSA workers have also been filed in Virginia, New Hampshire, Nevada, and Georgia, as well as other states. And NaturalNews is aware of at least three additional cases -- one in Pennsylvania, one in Florida, and one in Maryland -- where TSA screeners have been arrested on charges of child pornography.

Scott Wilson, a former TSA worker at Washington International Airport in Baltimore, had his home raided late last year after an undercover agent downloaded child pornography images from Wilson's computer (Caught In Act, TSA Bomb Screener Declares Child Porn "Not Right In A Legal And Moral Sense" | The Smoking Gun). Wilson was charged with two felony counts of child pornography.

Thomas Gordon Jr., a former TSA screener at Philadelphia International Airport was arrested in early 2011 and charged with uploading explicit images of underage girls to websites using at least half a dozen phony Facebook aliases (TSA passenger screener caught distributing child porn images). According to the allegations, Gordon was actually found posing in his TSA uniform in one of the explicit photos he uploaded.

And Charles Bennett, a former TSA screener at Orlando International Airport in Florida was arrested in 2010 for allegedly molesting a young girl and trying to make her his "sex slave" (Alex Jones' Infowars: There's a war on for your mind!).

As vile as each of these accounts is, they likely represent just a tiny fraction of the sexual deviancy that still takes place within the ranks of the TSA to this day. Each of these instances, after all, represents only those that have been brought to light -- many others, thanks to the TSA's lax "screening" process for its own employees, more than likely remain in their positions to this day.

And if you think about it, what better job is there for sexual deviants than to become TSA screeners? Virtually no other position in society gives them free reign to openly view the naked silhouettes of air travelers as they are forced to walk through naked body scanners, or to aggressively pat down innocent children whose families refuse to have their young ones blasted with toxic radiation in the naked body scanners.

Police: Naked man protests TSA at Portland Airport

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

***Port of Portland police say a traveler at PDX took off far more than his shoes and belt while going through airport security.

John Brennan, 50, was arrested shortly after 5:30 p.m. Tuesday after TSA agents say he took off all his clothes and refused to put them back on while passing through the ABC checkpoint.

Police say Brennan was scheduled to fly to San Jose, CA, on Alaska Airlines. Instead, he was taken to jail on charges of disorderly conduct and indecent exposure.

Investigators say neither drugs nor alcohol were involved in the incident. Instead, Brennan told officers he got naked to protest TSA screeners, who he felt had been harassing him.

Witness Brian Reilly snapped a picture after hearing the exchange between the man and TSA agents.

"I heard ‘Stop the line, stop the line,' and I looked up and there was this man completely nude," said Reilly.

"He got pulled aside for extra security measures," described Reilly. "He was clearly protesting it."

Reilly said he overheard the man saying, "Do I have anything illegal? Am I good to go through now?"

TSA agents and police said they asked Brennan numerous times to put his clothes back on, but he refused, according to a spokesman.

"While some passengers covered their eyes and their children's eyes and moved away from the screening area, others stepped out of the screening lanes to look, laugh and take photos of Mr. Brennan," according to a Port of Portland police report.

TSA released a statement saying, "TSA partners with the traveling public to screen all passengers safely and efficiently. When a passenger chooses to be purposefully disruptive, we notify law enforcement. "
