Birther Lawyer Ousted by SCOTUS

Philip J. Berg is experiencing a case of poetic justice if ever there were one. The lawyer who asked the Supreme Court to remove Obama from office because of speculation he was not an American-born citizen has lost the right to practice before the highest court in the land.

One of the first to file “birther” lawsuits against Obama, Berg was also suspended by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court for two years for insufficiently handling his professional obligations to clients. Luckily, he has another activity to keep him busy. He said, “I am now writing a book about Obama.”
