"WASHINGTON—Gathering his Cabinet together one last time, President George W. Bush declared his administration had achieved "a good, solid" record and gave thanks to both his closest aides and Americans across the country.



"I tell people I leave town with a great sense of accomplishment and my head held high," Bush told a small pool of reporters Tuesday at the end of his final meeting with his top advisers. Before the media were allowed in, a burst of applause could be heard from the Cabinet Room."

Yep, I think we're going to find that the grass isn't actually greener on the other side. I expect some big set backs to our cause (hope I'm wrong). Obama is only one of the reasons I feel this way though. The other reason is the new U.S. Congress.

Let's hope the poor economical conditions the country is experiencing rings the bell of common sense for the American people. Somehow we must manage to keep Obama and the Democrat controlled congress in check where immigration, especially illegal immigration, is concerned.

Um no he won't because Bush is the big reason Obama is even in power in the first place. If not for Bush and McLame, Obama never sniffs the WhiteHouse. Maybe with Bush gone, this is a golden opportunity for the Republican party to get it's act together, I won't hold my breath on that, but we'll see.
