San Diego unemployment at more than 7-year low

    By Jonathan Horn 9:16 A.M. MAY 22, 2015

San Diego County's unemployment rate fell to 4.8 percent in April, matching its lowest point since December 2007, the month that marked the start of the Great Recession.

Last month, county employers added 4,900 people to payrolls, as the jobless rate ticked down from 5.1 percent in March. Financial activities and tourism led the hiring, as they gear up for their peak seasons.

When looking at the data annually, when it is not subject to seasonal factors, county employers have added 40,900 workers, good for 3.1 percent growth. Most of those hires are coming in the higher paying professional, scientific and technical services sector, which is up by 8,200 workers.

The tourism field is up 6,500 employees over the last 12 months.

A year ago at this time, the unemployment rate was 6.1 percent.

Why all of this discussion on California. I figure they are now part of Mexico anyway. Heck, California alone probably contributes more money to Mexico than Mexico city does!

That gives you a chance to reminds us how much you hate CA. Because if you don't remind us everyday we might forget.

Did you know that most people who hate CA. do so because they are jealous that the can't afford to live there?

Trust me, my distaste for California has absolutely nothing to do with Jealousy. Most of it comes from my hate for a very large percentage of pandering California's politicians. Those politicians roll out the red carpet like no other state for illegal aliens.
