Thread: When you watched the address last night,

Did anyone other than me think Nancy Pelosi acted like a giddy cheerleader during the address last night? I would swear she was so excited, her eyes were dialated and every 10 seconds she was jumping up and dancing around.

In my opinion, the word elitist doesn't begin to decribe our Limosine Liberal Speaker of the House. Everytime see her or hear her all I can think of is "let them eat cake". RRRRRRRR

Agree 100%. What is really ironic is that she represents a city that is a huge TOILET. San Francisco is everything that is wrong with "progressive" nutcases.

She makes me sick just looking at her. And when she speaks that voice sends chills down my spine.
But I am glad to see she got her dentures fixed time! (And I thought Hillary's shrill laugh was bad!!)

By the way, did you know she really is a cheerleader? That’s right, no joke! She leads the applause (at least the Dems).
They take their lead from her. She lets them know which of Obama’s lines to standup and cheer for, and which to just stay seated and clap for.

Cheerleader, no doubt! I kind of felt bad for Joe Biden who was writing something and had to drop it to stand up and applaud everytime she bounced up.
I liked the speech, especially when he told high school dropouts that they are not only quitting themselves, but quitting the country. The country needs the inspiration and hope, and in contrast Jindal's reply on behalf of the Repubs was pathetic.

Watching the whole dog and pony show last night was a twisted little form of self flagellation also - hated it but couldn't stop.

The speech was good - sort of like mass hypnosis. Unfortunately the PORK BARREL passed today with earmarks - he says they will get them next time - right.

Jindal's response lacked the style of Obama, but was crammed with substance which Obama's totally lacked. Jindal is a true Conservative and a highly principled man.
