Child abuser: Obama-supporting teacher bullies soldier’s daughter

This is ghastly. If you are a parent with elementary schoolchildren, you will hit the roof. A teacher in Cumberland County, N.C. near Fort Bragg (NOTE: she is no longer in Asheville) was caught on tape by Finnish documentarians making a film about Barack Obama’s supporters. The teacher, Diantha Harris, uses the classroom as a propaganda vehicle to shove her politics down the children’s throats.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!

FIRE HER IMMEDIATELY. teachers are there to teach a subject. EVEN IF it was a class about current politics she should never have treated that poor girl like that. This behavior has got to stop. Keep your personal political beliefs out of the classroom altogether. DO NOT use your position of authority to influence kids politically, EVER.

You can use your 1st amendment rights as an American to let this woman know what you think of her educational techniques!

What an outrage! Teacher needs to lose her teaching credentials pronto!

I'm sending an email. This kind of thing just makes me furious!

At the risk of being the last man out, if we fired all the teachers who did this to kids we would only have a handful left. The same kind of thing was done to me, back in 1970 something. I remember stumping for Ronald Reagan when he was running against Ford. My political science teacher publicly mocked me for supporting a "stupid actor". He even went so far as to state that he had thought I was intelligent, he was wrong. He has never had a dumber kid in any of his classes and doubts he will ever have such a stupid kid in the future. He even gave me the dumbest kid of the century award.

My sister had been told in a public school in the late 60's that we (my siblings and I) were all going to hell with no hope for salvation because our parents were divorced. Now mind you this was in PUBLIC schools.

In college, my professor taught us the difference between Democrats and Republicans is that "Democrats are looking toward the future with hope, Republicans are wallowing in a failed past."

The only difference here is that the teachers private views, used to humiliate and hurt the student, were caught on tape. This kind of abuse is as old as the teachers union, if not older. I am NOT saying this is right. I am NOT saying this is acceptable, but what I AM saying is this kind of thing is NOT uncommon.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't a teacher suppose to teach their children proper English. What is this axe crap and all of the other Ebonics that she is spewing? As parents we need to push our children to be teachers and get rid of these liberal dirtbags that are poisoning our children.

I just e-mailed the school and the school board with this message;

I just saw the video of Diantha Harris verbally abusing that little daughter of a soldier. I'm disgusted on a number of fronts.

1) She has no right to push her racist politics on our children. We as parents will shape our childrens beliefs.

2) How dare she bully a child of an American hero for her own beliefs.

3) She is a teacher and should be teaching proper grammer not ebonics. How did she ever get a teaching license.

I would call for her immediate removal from class. She is a disgrace to the teaching profession.

I have no problem with this. Maybe then we could get school choice, or even take back our own schools since there would not be any one left to support the teachers union.
