Cindy & Meghan McCain endorse gay marriage movement

Cindy McCain endorse gay marriage movement

By JOAN LOWY, Associated Press Writer
    Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at 5:34 p.m.

WASHINGTON— Cindy McCain, the wife of 2008 Republican presidential nominee John McCain, has posed for an ad endorsing pro-gay marriage forces in California.

The photo shows Mrs. McCain with silver duct tape across her mouth and "NOH8" written on one cheek. NOH8 is a gay rights group challenging Proposition 8 passed by California voters in 2008 banning same sex marriage.

John McCain's office issued a statement saying the Arizona senator respects the views of members of his family but remains opposed to gay marriage. It says McCain believes "marriage is only defined as between one man and one woman."

I'm surprised his wife let him do that.

Thank you, as a Vietnam vet I had great respect for McCain in his early years but as his true colors came out I lost that now he needs to retire.

McCain needs to go. Progressives, pro amnesty candidates are not seeking the best for the nation.

Just as there is a wide divide between pro-life and those on the other side, there is a wide divide between those who want to protect traditional marriage, and those who want marriage redefined. A candidate's views on both are important for voters to know.

Words and actions have consequences, often more for public figures. The public can quickly turn. The McCain women did exercise their right to free speech while wearing duct tape, and the voters will likely do the same on election day.

    Matthew 19:26
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
