Here’s The Backstory Behind The Hero Cat Who Saved 4-Year-Old Boy From A Vicious Dog Attack

Four-year-old Jeremy was riding his bike in the driveway when he was unexpectedly attacked by the neighbor’s dog. Fortunately for Jeremy, his cat Tara jumped in to save him.

Tara, who is probably part lion, managed to scare off the dog and rescue Jeremy. Thanks to Tara’s heroic efforts, Jeremy only had to receive ten stitches, when it could have been much worse.

Jeremy’s mother explained to her husband what she had seen, so he decided to check the home surveillance tape. Jeremy’s dad said of the footage:

“It was pretty amazing to see just a cat take on a dog and so selflessly just put herself out there and not worry about if she was going to get bit or injured herself.”

Jeremy’s dad posted the now-famous Hero Cat video on Youtube and it quickly received over 7,000,000 views. And that’s not all: Tara is beingscouted by Cat Fancy (think of it like Cosmopolitan for cats) to be on the cover and do a full photo spread.
Just when you thought your pet was an every day domesticated animal, you find out they’re actually a superhero in disguise.
