As an Illinoisan let me say this; SHIT! We have total and completely incompetent boneheads in every level of politics. I know Republicans have made their share of mistakes, but take it from someone who NEVER had a non-Democrat to represent them from dogcatcher to president except for the times the Bush(s) were in office, life here sucks. And being in the Land of Lincoln this is totally insane. Even when we did manage to get a Republican Governor the Chicago Democratic Machine gets them to act like Democrats. But only when they get caught, they go to prison, unlike the Democratic crooks who seem to always get a pass. (Let’s see what happens to Blago). And as I have said many times, now Illinois politics is infecting the entire nation. (Actually I warned about this going into the 2008 elections, but no one believed me.)
