I forgive you, and understand your initial reaction. I should have used the word forefathers. I'm almost as mad at our forefathers as I get at the illegals. No matter what we do we can't seem to overcome the stigma they created.

In this culture, it never had a prayer because the expectation of "colorblindness" never extended beyond the majority. Because of the manner in which white Americans were browbeaten and guilt-tripped into the concept, the races who were prospective beneficiaries of this new group-think never considered themselves as being part of the problem. Rather, as "victims," they saw racism solely as a thing that was directed at them, not as a generically detrimental attribute in a heterogenous society. So it is that while preaching colorblindness, minority groups have no problem segregating themselves by creating exclusionary groups and caucuses dedicated to furthering their racial goals. They see no problem with their own voluntary segregation, but rather only with externally enforced segregation. Of course, what they intentionally overlook is that ANY segregation which excludes others is by definition exclusionary, meaning that they are guilty of imposing on others the very segregation they fought to have legally terminated. Neither do they wish to consider the converse idea that those who they felt were acting with prejudice by excluding them were merely engaging in the identical prerogative that they now assert when they form groups like the Black Caucus or LULAC that exclude those not of their specified race.
I have to disagree with this premise. The silliness began when our White ancestors brought Africans over on ships against their will, beat, maimed, tortured and enslaved them, considered, treated and put laws on the books to legitimize them as less than 3/5ths humans and forced them to build our nation, provide nanny/maid services and do all of the heavy lifting for free. Let's not rewrite history and blame others for what our forefathers barbaric conduct and complex ignorance did in the name of racial superiorty. That is where the SILLINESS began. Had slavery not been a legalized degenerating institution based on the premise of skin color, this country would not have been built based on white racial superiority and we as a society and country probably would not be in this PC quagmire today.
Universal Slavery isn't at issue on Alipac.

Please note that SLAVERY was in existance thousands of years BEFORE anyone brought slaves to the shores of this land.

Our forefathers were acting no differently than other nations & peoples, especially the African peoples who enslaved their people for the purpose of slavery & sales of slaves. So yes, let's NOT rewrite history but let's also focus on what's important here at Alipac.

Let's put a lid on this one now, please! And move back to the urgent issue of the ILLEGAL ALIEN INVASION and it's negative effects on All Americans.

Well hes right about one thing, Gonzalez is a sell out to Bushy and should be fired for being to ignorant on the situation. As far as it being a racist comment? Lighten up people, its just this point of pickiness that has led the country down the road of everyone covering their mouths in fear of being labled and not letting the truth out because they'll be dragged into court. Say what you will as long as its the truth and care not what people think, soon you'll see everyone around you following suit...

No one ever talks about all the white people who died to free the slaves. None of my relatives had slaves. My great, great, great, great... grandfather fought (along with other great Americans) to establish America.

I never had slaves. I don't know any slaves. I didn't vote for Bush or the war, etc. I don't own any of it. Period!

So, no matter what anyone says: I hold my head high...and don't owe anyone an apology.

My ancestors came over in 1790. He was in serfdom and had to have a written letter stating he could come here, and was free. The letter still exists.

He landed in Maryland, went to Ohio started farming and that's where most of them stayed...working without any help, except from family.

Also many fought in the wars for this Country and to free slaves.

As for Gonzales and Bush....I don't think Gonzales should resign for the firings of prosecutors, but for his lax attitude concerning the "invasion", and saying that members of MS-13 were people who came across some bad luck, as well as allowing the prosecution of the border agents.
Do not vote for Party this year, vote for America and American workers!

The way I took his comment base on other things I have heard him say was that since Gonzales is hispanic and in a powerful position, he should do was is best for hispanics legal and illegal, even if it is not what is best for America and legal citizens.

I am not even allow to talk about illegal immigration when he is around, but he can bash conseratives and conserative views any time he likes, which is pretty much all day long.
