The AIG saga has prompted some senior Democrats to distance themselves from Obama

WHEN the White House announced last week that President Barack Obama will be returning to the nation’s television screens on Tuesday for a prime-time press conference that will postpone the latest episode of American Idol - the talent show watched by 25m viewers - fans of the programme were quick to respond.

ITS LIKE WATCHING A VENTRILOQUIST. WHY DOESNT OBAMA STOP PLAYING PRESIDENT AND TURN HIMSELF IN? Besides, Obama has appeared WAY TOO MANY TIMES in front of the camera already. Its more than overkill. And he has to read whatever he says from the teleprompter. I guess that makes him a dummy. :x :roll:

I agree that he has appeared on camera way too many times BB, but unfortunately, his doing so is not a case of some deep seated fantasy of celebrity.

I guess I will have to skip tv once again. I refuse to watch this idiot again and again and again. He never changes his idiotic story.

I am tired of the outrage our reps in Washington are voicing. If they would have read the bill, they would have seen it coming. Also, in regards to having his hands full with the economy and healthcare and education, I say, give healthcare and education back to the states where it belongs. I thought the Federal governments job was to secure our ports and borders, immigration control, foreign policy and making sure the merchandise that enters this country from other countries be safe to eat and play with. They are doing a piss poor job on every level.

Well one at a time he is pissing off everyone! NOW he's gonna have the American Idol Groupies mad.
He's cutting in on the Final show of Idol! He already did it once to them! LOL That's a lot of peeople to have mad too.

Well, his next job can be reading stories to little kids!
All he is good at is speeches he can read. He doesn't write his speeches.
The young guy that does was on TV the other day.

Now I see what happened to Jimmy Carter. I liked him but I was not political then. I do know he was one of the smartest Presidents. I read that in Tip O'Neils book. He said he was the only President he met that could take anything apart and put it back together again. He said he had a photographic memory or something.
If Obama would stay home, off TV, out of the Marine One helicopter and fix JUST the economy and not push his Socialistic ideas of Healthcare and all that other shit.

American Idol being postponed again? How horrible! Unfortunately it smacks of the disconnect of so many American people to what is really important and what this country may be facing, which will affect more lives than who wins American Idol.

I did listen to him in the beginning. I gave him a chance and even defended him to my contact list. I don't care what color he is, I care about his dreams for America. Well his dreams are my nightmare.

I couldn't stand McJerk's "My friends", Palin's "Maverick," or Obama's "transparency" (like lead) and other talking points he's coached on.

Today the TV is driving me crazy. Since a couple of days ago news people are giving Michelle credit from having a garden at the WhiteHouse. SHE DIDN'T come up with it!!!!! A lady on TV (The Martha type, I don't know her) the day before said that she has been pushing and pushing for the Obama's to do it. Michelle finally caved. NOW she gets the credit? That issue will drive me crazy all year. Give the right person credit.
