Deputies: Golden Gate man sexually assaults teen girl

NAPLES — A Golden Gate man sexually assaulted an underaged girl Saturday night, said Collier County Sheriff’s officials.

Javier R. Estrada, 32, of the 1000 block of 51st Street S.W., was arrested by deputies near the 4000 block of Golden Gate Parkway. He was charged with sexual battery on a victim over 12 years old.

The victim was walking through the Heritage Green Apartment complex when she saw a green pickup truck parked next to one of the buildings, reports said.

The man in the truck, later identified as Estrada, yelled at the girl to come over. The victim and a witness told deputies that Estrada has propositioned the girl previously.

Reports said the victim told deputies that she approached and told Estrada that she was going to call the cops. Estrada got out of the car, quickly walked towards her and pushed her up into a building corner toward the back. He then proceeded to assault her, reports said.

The girl told deputies that she hit Estrada and that she ran to her apartment as soon as he let go.

However, it wasn’t the first time that the victim and witness saw Estrada. Reports said the girl and a witness told deputies that they’d seen him driving around the complex for a week.

Deputies found Estrada a little while later in the complex parking lot and took him into custody.
