My $$ saving trick...ladies don't go buy expensive body scrubs! Recycle your used coffee grounds and use that instead. Works great, smells good and makes your skin super soft. My family now uses cloths instead of paper towels. Yes, we have paper towels around for certain uses, but many things we did use paper towels for in the kitchen, we now use the cloths.
We keep a plastic tray filled with clean cloths on top of the microwave so they can be grabbed and used for spills or to dry your hands etc...
Then we throw them in a little hamper thing and the next time we are doing a load of laundry, we throw the cloths in with the clothes.
This avoids us having to do a special wash cycle or wasting that energy to clean them.
No big huge savings deal, but I think we will likely save over 50 bucks a year by using the cloths instead of expensive paper towels.

I dont spend a dime before I had made a budget and a list.
Pay my bills first, always shop with a list and save the rest iof there is any left over.
You would be amazed at the fact that people who do not shop with a list can spend an average of 30% more than they wanted.
If you do not have health insurance, ask for the Medicade rate before going to the doc. It doesn't matter what kind. Even if you had to visit the ER, you can later ask for the Medicade rate. If you are able to pay the bill in full, they will often give you a discount for that too. Some docs give discounts for paying cash. (You can save thousands with this)
If you dont have a membership with a buying club, likes costco or whatever and know someone who does, see if you can go with them and shop. You can save big time with that. Just dont forget your list.I stay current on Americans for Legal Immigration PAC's fight to Secure Our Border and Send Illegals Home via E-mail Alerts (CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP)

I never buy anything unless it's on sale, shop at wholesale clubs for bulk items, me and my husband both drive older cars that are paid for, shop at consignmnent stores for some of the kids clothes and always try to vacation off-season (I'm at the beach now on Hilton points). Oh, and we very rarely eat out so I do weekly menu planning and buy everything in one trip to the store.
We also try very hard not to finance anything and as of now we are debt free except for the mortgage.

I buy meat late on Sunday at Sams Club, they often mark down meat
out front about 2 hours before closing. Some other markets also do this,
they are no longer allowed to freshen up and re-package& re-date meats so now they dicount it 50 t0 70% off.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

INCREDIBLE POWER-SAVE 1200 INDEPENDENT TEST RESULTS
Power-save 1200"I must admit, I was a bit skeptical about your product, as an electrical engineer friend introduced me to Power-Save a few months ago...
While I was testing the unit, I had my friends present. I tested the product on the load side, and I found no difference in the amperage draw to my A/C unit on the circuit conductors directly from the breaker to it. At first, I was disgruntled. After settling down and thinking about what I had just done, I realized my error and clamped my Fluke meter on the mains directly behind the meter registering current draw at the line side of the load center....and BINGO!!!!
On start up, the A/C unit went up to 91 amps and leveled out at 13 without the Power-Save 1200 on. When the Power Save unit was engaged it was a draw of 35 amps and leveled out at 8.75. That pretty much blew everyone away! After that, I tested everything with a motor load in my house. I was astonished at the significant reduction in amperage.
I have had, in addition, a lot of customers complaining of bad power spikes, sags, and all kinds of irregularities from their utilities which could benefit from the unit." - John Turteltaub, San Diego
CHARLES COKER SAVES 33% ON ELECTRIC BILL!
I purchased the power save on 6/3/08 and installed it 6/5/08. My energy usage from 6/2/07 -7/2/07 was 1950 kWh. My energy usage from 6/2/08- 7/2/08 was 1320 kWh. That's a reduction of 33%.
This was acheived by changing all light bulbs with cfl and an installation of the Power-Save 1200. Thanks! Oh, by the way I tracked the temps from last year here in Mesa, AZ and it was 2 degrees hotter on average over the month. Again...WOW!

VANCE MOORE SAVES LOWERS ELECTRICAL USAGE BY 31%!
Vance Moore of Illinois just faxed to us the usage comparison portion of his electric bill for both his residence and his business. The savings he has achieved since installing the Power-Save 1200 and Power-Save 3200 respectively is nothing short of incredible, with a savings at his laundromat in excess of 31% in May of 2008! Vance also realized a savings of over 22% at his residence in February and 17% in June!
Be sure to check out the actual document that Vance faxed to us below!

One way I save a lot of money is by staying on the ALIPAC website for hours at a time.
Actually, I keep the car's gas tank topped off and haven't really spent more than $15 to fill up. It helps with the monthly budget, and I still think, somewhere in that tank is fuel that cost less than $2.50 a gallon.
I shop for items on sale and have a pretty good idea of prices for the same products in each of the three local grocery stores. For examples, dog food (Pedigree) was 75 cents in two stores and now it is 89 cents a can, while the third grocery has it 2/$1.39.
Worst comes to worst, I head to Wal-Mart (yech!) to buy in bulk, mostly canned goods. I don't buy in bulk often and though I was a member of Sam's Club years ago, the up-front fee is what bothers me, as I seemed to come out even by the end of the year.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Speaking of pet food, we have a new puppy (see my avatar) and I noticed right away that it is difficult to find dog food that is not made in China. I don't want to feed her anything from China after all the problems that occurred a while back. I found a specialty shop that carries dog food made in the USA, called California Natural. So that's what I'm feeding her. I think it's expensive though. Not sure exactly because I bought a bunch of other things when I picked up the food and my kids were with me and I needed to get out of the store right away so I never even asked the price. So if anyone has any sources they recommend for pet food, please let me know.
