REPORT: Activists Want Joe Biden To Create A ‘Gun Control Office’ That Can Bypass The Senate

People on the left are tired of waiting for Democrats to enact more gun control in the constitutional way.
Activists are now asking Joe Biden to create a new ‘gun control office’ which would have the ability to work outside the scope of the Senate.

Millions of Americans have become brand new gun owners over the last year and a half, mostly because of the behavior of the far left but they don’t care, they just want control over your God-given freedoms.
Breitbart News reports:
Activists Urge Joe Biden to Create Gun Control Office to Bypass Senate
Activists from numerous gun control groups are pressuring President Biden to created a White House-level gun control office that can be led by an individual who does not need Senate confirmation.
Politico reports that push comes as confirmation of Biden ATF nominee David Chipman appears unlikely, now that Sen. Angus King (I-ME) has voiced his opposition to the nomination.
Subsequently, four groups from the gun control lobby–Guns Down America, March For Our Lives, Newtown Action Alliance, and Survivors Empowered–are urging Biden to create a gun control office that will not be dependent on Senate support.
They sent Biden a letter, which reads in part:
In March of 2020, you pledged to appoint a point-person to drive your gun violence prevention agenda, yet, to our knowledge, your administration still lacks such a position.
Mr. President, we know you are personally invested in the issue of gun violence prevention. As you told a joint session of Congress in late April, “I will do everything in my power to protect the American people from this epidemic of gun violence.” We are asking you to live up to this pledge because we need your leadership now more than ever.
Law abiding gun owners are not the problem.

The left cannot stand the fact that the Constitution guarantees Americans the right to own guns and protect themselves.
