Fox news is reporting Governor Rod Blogoyovich was taken into Federal custody this AM.

Anyone have any updates?

Just heard on Fox news he is accused of selling Obama's vacated Senate seat (the usual pay to play style of politics endemic to Mexinois) and tried to cut off funding for the Chicago Tribune because it's editors were critical of his politics. What a crooked corrupt pos. They should go after Daley next then Gutierrez. That state is a bastion of corruption and cronyism. Meanwhile taxpayers are hanging on by their fingernails while that sanctuary state encouraged illegal immigration. I wonder how much taxpayer money was spent to support illegal immigration. Gutierrez district is still under investigation for alleged wide spread voter fraud as the Feds discovered 40,000 illegally registered to vote in 2006.

Doesn't it give you the warm fuzzies that the next POTUS attributes his ascendancy to the Chicago political machine? We are in such deep !@#$. The Federal Prosecutor said a 76 page affidavit states the Guv, his chief of staff and his wife tried to sell Obama's senate seat. The breath of corruption the document says is breathtaking.......... he has been accused of serial influence peddling. The charges against Blagoijevitch are significant and very serious. I also heard that he while knowing he was under investigation he still was involved in influence peddling. One man questioned on the street said enough is enough.......he was angry....
So this is where our bailouts are going.....racketeering, influence buying and illegal immigration...............I also heard the feds are now actively investigating Fannie and Freddie and the present and former CEO's (are you worried Franklin and Raines...maybe you will spill the beans and this will end at Dodd's, Frank's, Pelosi's, Reid's and Schumer's desks as they are complicit in this through the CRA.

Heck I should try out for the job, I'm still looki' for one. By the way, I'll do the job for 60k a year, and no money favors. Oh, and if I can get the cost of the state government down to a managable level, I will return any public moneys back to the people.

And I need no fancy Governor's Mansion to live in. Just a nice modest ranch home with 3 bedrooms so my kids can come visit dear old dad, and have a place to stay.
