    Earthquakes Are Swarming In USA

    This was on Drudge report. Earthquakes are swarming. Something is shifting that is for sure.

    This is normal, those are all small quakes 4.0 or less, which you cannot even feel. We have an earthquake map like this in our local newspaper every week, and they always look like this. I don't consider it a real earthquake unless the water in my hot tube starts sloshing over the sides!

    It's been some time since the big one hit in New Madrid Missouri, back in the early 1800s. It was so powerful it was said the Mississippi River actually reversed direction.

    The last prediction I heard was that although everyone seems to focus on the West Coast and the San Andrea fault, many scientists believe the next really major quake in the US will be along the New Madrid fault that pretty much runs up along the Mississippi valley. The last time there was major quake activity along this fault was in 1811-1812 when a series of quakes occurred. Some estimates were that the largest of these would have measured about 8.0 on the Richter scale. Even though they were not measured, the quakes were strong enough to dramatically change the course of the Mississippi River, and make appear to run backward for several days.
