GA--3rd-Graders Accused Of Plot To Hurt Teacher

3rd-Graders Accused Of Plot To Hurt Teacher

    POSTED: 6:01 pm EDT March 31, 2008

WAYCROSS, Ga. -- As many as nine third-grade students got together and plotted to harm their teacher, even going so far as to bring handcuffs and a knife to school, Waycross police said.

School officials at Center Elementary School, which is located on Dorothy Street in Waycross, said they never imagined that some of the 8- and 9-year-olds boys and girls at the school would think of bringing physical harm to a teacher.

"A plan had been developed amongst several of our third-grade students to allegedly do harm to their teacher," said Theresa Martin, of Ware County Schools.

Martin said the plot was uncovered when one student saw a knife in the backpack of another student.

"It's shocking that they would think of this at their young age. I think that is probably the most shocking part for all of us," Martin said.

In addition to the knife being found, the school officials said other students had duct tape, handcuffs, ribbon and a heavy crystal paperweight.

Although officials said they believe the students were plotting to hurt their teacher, they did not know how far the kids were planning to take the alleged scheme.

The police chief in Waycross told Channel 4 he believes the plan may have been developed because one of the students was punished with some sort of time out. However, that theory remains under investigation.

"I can't believe that -- because he's a third-grader. You know, I cannot believe that. Especially, for here," said parent Doris Rowland.

The nine students suspected in the plot to harm the teacher have been suspended until the police investigation is completed. The kids could face expulsion pending the investigation.

Authorities could also ask prosecutors to press conspiracy charges against the youngsters accused of being involved in the plot.

Bag Of Weapons Found Among Kids Suspected In Plot To Hurt Teacher

    POSTED: 11:44 am EDT April 1, 2008

WAYCROSS, Ga. -- Nine Ware County third-grade students have been suspended from their Waycross elementary school after being accused of bringing several items to school in order to hurt their teacher.

Waycross Police Chief Tony Tanner on Tuesday released pictures of the evidence, which includes, a steak knife, a paperweight, handcuffs, gloves and several rolls of tape.

According to Tanner, the motive for the plot might have been to get revenge on a teacher after she disciplined a girl in her classroom for standing on a chair.

Authorities got word of the alleged plot at Center Elementary School on Friday when another student reported seeing the knife in the possession of another child.

The 8- and 9-year-olds have been accused of being involved in a plan to harm a teacher, but some parents said the plot was much worse. Channel 4 received several e-mails from parents who claimed the students wanted to kill their teacher.

The headline in Monday's Waycross Journal-Herald read murder.

"I have not heard that word used. The principal says they were planning to harm their teacher," said Theresa Martin, of Ware County Schools.

Investigators confirmed the students brought a steak knife, a roll of duct tape, handcuffs, ribbon and a heavy crystal paperweight to school.

Licensed mental health counselor Audrey Dearborn called the allegations against the third-graders alarming.

"Before you would see these types of behavior in High School. Now, we've skipped the middle school and gone right to the third grade," Dearborn said.

Dearborn said a lot of kids view school as an environment where they have to fight to succeed and be treated fairly, but Dearborn said kids need to be taught that the word fight should not be taken literally.

"They have distorted views about how to handle problems in their society," Dearborn said. "They respond the way the cartoon characters do- - they fight with aggression. This is a cry for help. They are saying, 'I am angry. I am hurt and I am striking out. We need to help them."

Tanner said the parents of the children accused are, "Shocked, saddened, and surprised. This is their worst nightmare."

WHy so shocked? Ever since we threw God out of the schools and shoved "multiculturism" down the kids throats, what are we supposed to be surprised about?

In some cultures, maybe this type of behaviour is acceptable? Perhaps the kids have learned this a little too well? Think about what they are being taught in schools!

Apparently this was a 'gang' mentality action.

    Have children learned:
a child is 'entitled' to break the rules?
a child's 'right' does not make him/her self-responsible for breaking the rules?
punishment for breaking the rules is not 'fair'?
when held accountable for for self-acts, seek 'revenge'?
'protest' rule enforcement with group action?
violence and harming others is 'acceptable' behavior?

I'm not surprised. Some kids just aren't taught to respect teachers, police officers, parents, etc, anymore.

Maybe some of this behavior is learned at home.

A socialist, liberal agenda has been promoted by the Dept.of Education and enforced by the Teachers Unions . From kindergarden to college the theme is hate American values, country and the europian race and it's founders .

Embrace diversity, multiculturism , minorities and alternate lifestyles . Teach half truths and lies about American History . Make every white person a racist . Make the words 'mother and father ' against the schools and sociatal rules , because it offends homosexuals who may have two parents of the same sex . Make sure every kid knows how to have anal and oral sex and plenty of condoms, " most won't use ' .

There are a few good teachers who try to avoid this . And more and more blacks are begining to wake up and stand with their fellow Americans , but not nearly enough to make a difference I'm afraid .

And we wonder why America is being conquored from within .

I'm sure much of it is learned from home television sets! I remember seeing a movie once where the students had a similar plan to punish a teacher.
