One false statement after another! NO STREAMLINING REDUCED THE COST BY THE 23% ADDED BY THE TAX.

If we need a million dollars in taxes, we either take it out of income, which reduced the buying power by that much, or we take it out of the retail cost WHICH RAISES THE PRICE! But with that raised price, the buying power is increased by the amount not deducted from income. So the overall effect is the people pay a million dollars, one way or the other.

Well, John, I embrace many of our socialist programs. For example, I support Social Security and Medicare, Medicaid (absent some maternity benefits), food stamps, k-12 public education, unemployment insurance, workmans compensation and FDIC for example.

I guess that would explain why you keep interjecting the unfair tax plan in so many of your post over the last couple days. I don't think the President still reads ALIPAC, too many nasty comments, but I think Stephen Miller still does and Stephen Miller is on his trade and immigration advisory team.

Well, if you want to call exempting FairTaxes for necessities up to a poverty amount "socialism", then you're free to do so. I would call it lowering the effective FairTax rate for American citizens and legal residents.
