Comey is writing a book and planning on making millions from his bad deeds as a bad actor who got rightly fired for a wide variety of reasons. American taxpayers are unwittingly funding a Special Counsel investigation to the tune of millions and millions of dollars of a Hoax, a Russian Hoax against the President and his campaign, a hoax fabricated by McCabe and Comey to try and blackmail or overturn a new Presidency. Comey has admitted publicly that he illegally leaked his "notes" for the purpose of misleading the DOJ into the appointment of a Special Counsel.

Therefore, who is responsible for the outrageous cost of a fruitless investigation of the Russia Hoax that we now know was perpetuated by a terrible fraud within the FBI and DOJ against Trump? Jim Comey.

So who should bear the cost of this phony investigation? Well, of course: Jim Comey. The DOJ needs to immediately file a lawsuit for recovery of damages for the entire cost of this phony investigation from Jim Comey.

Judy, Lisa Page and Peter Strzok are still in the mix of it all. Maybe they and many others will see similar consequences.

Jeff Sessions Gives Andy McCabe the Boot, May Deny Him FBI Pension

Attorney General Jeff Sessions, acting on the recommendation of the FBI’s Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR), fired former FBI Deputy Director Andrew “Andy” McCabe Friday.

By dismissing McCabe – who was set to retire at the end of the month – before Sunday, Sessions may have jeopardized McCabe’s ability to draw a pension. Speculation Sessions might make this move has stirred since the Department of Justice Inspector General’s report, which is yet to be publically disclosed, was reported to have recommend McCabe be fired over his handling of press disclosures during his investigation of the Clinton Foundation. The OPR, upon reviewing the IG’s report, issued a recommendation to fire McCabe.


Attorney General Sessions issued the following statement, announcing his decision:

After an extensive and fair investigation and according to Department of Justice procedure, the Department’s Office of the Inspector General (OIG) provided its report on allegations of misconduct by Andrew McCabe to the FBI’s Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR).


The FBI’s OPR then reviewed the report and underlying documents and issued a disciplinary proposal recommending the dismissal of Mr. McCabe. Both the OIG and FBI OPR reports concluded that Mr. McCabe had made an unauthorized disclosure to the news media and lacked candor − including under oath − on multiple occasions.
The FBI expects every employee to adhere to the highest standards of honesty, integrity, and accountability. As the OPR proposal stated, “all FBI employees know that lacking candor under oath results in dismissal and that our integrity is our brand.”


Pursuant to Department Order 1202, and based on the report of the Inspector General, the findings of the FBI Office of Professional Responsibility, and the recommendation of the Department’s senior career official, I have terminated the employment of Andrew McCabe effective immediately.

McCabe reportedly already had stepped down from his number two spot at the FBI following the House Intelligence Committee’s review of a memo dealing with, among other things, McCabe’s handling of a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court warrant application.

Fired FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe released a statement Friday night following the news of his firing right before he became eligible for retirement benefits. McCabe blasted President Donald Trump for tweeting about him and calling for him to him to be stripped of his pension. McCabe also claimed he was being singled out for what he witnessed in the aftermath of Trump’s firing of FBI Director James Comey.

I have been an FBI Special Agent for over 21 years. I spent half of that time investigating Russian Organized Crime as a street agent and Supervisor in New York City. I have spent the second half of my career focusing on national security issues and protecting this country from terrorism. I served in some of the most challenging, demanding investigative and leadership roles in the FBI. And I was privileged to serve as Deputy Director during a particularly tough time.


For the last year and a half, my family and I have been the targets of an unrelenting assault on our reputation and my service to this country. Articles too numerous to count have leveled every sort of false, defamatory and degrading allegation against us. The President’s tweets have amplified and exacerbated it all. He called for my firing. He called for me to be stripped of my pension after more than 20 years of service. And all along we have said nothing, never wanting to distract from the mission of the FBI by addressing the lies told and repeated about us.

The investigation by the Justice Department’s Office of Inspector General (OIG) has to be understood in the context of the attacks on my credibility. The investigation flows from my attempt to explain the FBI’s involvement and my supervision of investigations involving Hillary Clinton. I was being portrayed in the media over and over as a political partisan, accused of closing down investigations under political pressure. The FBI was portrayed as caving under that pressure, and making decisions for political rather than law enforcement purposes. Nothing was further from the truth. In fact, this entire investigation stems from my efforts, fully authorized under FBI rules, to set the record straight on behalf of the Bureau, and to make clear that we were continuing an investigation that people in DOJ opposed.


The OIG investigation has focused on information I chose to share with a reporter through my public affairs officer and a legal counselor. As Deputy Director, I was one of only a few people who had the authority to do that. It was not a secret, it took place over several days, and others, including the Director, were aware of the interaction with the reporter. It was the type of exchange with the media that the Deputy Director oversees several times per week. In fact, it was the same type of work that I continued to do under Director Wray, at his request. The investigation subsequently focused on who I talked to, when I talked to them, and so forth. During these inquiries, I answered questions truthfully and as accurately as I could amidst the chaos that surrounded me. And when I thought my answers were misunderstood, I contacted investigators to correct them.


But looking at that in isolation completely misses the big picture. The big picture is a tale of what can happen when law enforcement is politicized, public servants are attacked, and people who are supposed to cherish and protect our institutions become instruments for damaging those institutions and people.


Here is the reality: I am being singled out and treated this way because of the role I played, the actions I took, and the events I witnessed in the aftermath of the firing of James Comey. The release of this report was accelerated only after my testimony to the House Intelligence Committee revealed that I would corroborate former Director Comey’s accounts of his discussions with the President. The OIG’s focus on me and this report became a part of an unprecedented effort by the Administration, driven by the President himself, to remove me from my position, destroy my reputation, and possibly strip me of a pension that I worked 21 years to earn. The accelerated release of the report, and the punitive actions taken in response, make sense only when viewed through this lens. Thursday’s comments from the White House are just the latest example of this.


This attack on my credibility is one part of a larger effort not just to slander me personally, but to taint the FBI, law enforcement, and intelligence professionals more generally. It is part of this Administration’s ongoing war on the FBI and the efforts of the Special Counsel investigation, which continue to this day. Their persistence in this campaign only highlights the importance of the Special Counsel’s work.


I have always prided myself on serving my country with distinction and integrity, and I always encouraged those around me to do the same. Just ask them. To have my career end in this way, and to be accused of lacking candor when at worst I was distracted in the midst of chaotic events, is incredibly disappointing and unfair. But it will not erase the important work I was privileged to be a part of, the results of which will in the end be revealed for the country to see.


I have unfailing faith in the men and women of the FBI and I am confident that their efforts to seek justice will not be deterred.”

Trump takes victory lap on McCabe firing: 'A great day for democracy'

President Trump celebrated the firing of former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe on Twitter, calling it a “great day for Democracy.”

“Andrew McCabe FIRED, a great day for the hard working men and women of the FBI,” Trump tweeted hours after McCabe’s firing on Friday night.

“Sanctimonious James Comey was his boss and made McCabe look like a choirboy. He knew all about the lies and corruption going on at the highest levels of the FBI!” the president continued.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions fired McCabe — two days before the FBI official’s retirement — for not being forthcoming with investigators during an inspector general review.

McCabe quickly struck back, saying he had been honest with investigators and that he was fired to undermine special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into Russian election interference.

Trump had repeatedly attacked McCabe, claiming that the former FBI official was biased against Trump.

The president cited McCabe’s wife’s campaign for state office in Virginia, during which she ran as a Democrat.

McCabe noted Trump’s attacks in a statement after his firing.

"The President’s tweets have amplified and exacerbated it all. He called for my firing. He called for me to be stripped of my pension after more than 20 years of service. And all along we have said nothing, never wanting to distract from the mission of the FBI by addressing the lies told and repeated about us. No more," McCabe said.

Report: McCabe Threatened to ‘Take People Down With Him if Fired’

Fox News reporter Adam Housley reported on Twitter tonight about the firing of FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, stating his sources were telling him that in the past few days McCabe threatened to “take people down with him” if he was fired. Housley also reported that the Inspector General-Office of Professional Responsibility report had uncovered “tons of stuff” on McCabe unrelated to the Trump investigation and that McCabe’s firing was a morale boost to FBI agents.

McCabe says Republicans 'mischaracterized' his testimony on Trump dossier

Washington (CNN)A key portion of former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe's testimony to the House Intelligence Committee has served as the backbone for a controversial memo propped up by Republican lawmakers, but McCabe now tells CNN that House Republicans twisted his answers.

The highly controversial memo from Committee Chairman Devin Nunes claimed McCabe testified that "no surveillance warrant would have been sought" for a Trump campaign aide without a disputed opposition-research dossier on Trump and Russia. Not so says McCabe -- the former No. 2 official at the FBI who signed one of the applications to surveil former Trump campaign foreign policy adviser Carter Page.

"We started the investigations without the dossier. We were proceeding with the investigations before we ever received that information," McCabe told CNN as part of a wide-ranging interview. "Was the dossier material important to the package? Of course, it was. As was every fact included in that package. Was it the majority of what was in the package? Absolutely not."

McCabe was fired Friday, less than two days shy of his official retirement.

Some Republicans lawmakers have attempted to cast the dossier as an inherently unreliable piece of opposition research because it was funded through the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton campaign, but McCabe says his testimony was "selectively quoted" and "mischaracterized" in order to bolster the claim that the dossier served as the essential linchpin to the surveillance warrant on Page.

Yet Republicans have stood by their characterization of the dossier's role in the FISA memo. "The dossier formed 'a significant portion' of the Carter Page FISA application," House Intelligence Committee Republicans say in a rebuttal to the Democratic House Intelligence Committee counter-memo.

Democrats, however, have resoundingly rejected the Nunes memo as an inaccurate and misleading portrait intended to distract from Special Counsel Robert Mueller's Russia probe. But McCabe had not gone on record disputing House Republicans' characterization of his testimony until now. He appeared for more than 16 hours of testimony behind closed doors in two sessions in December before members of the House Intelligence, Oversight and Judiciary committees, amid repeated calls for his firing from President Donald Trump and Republicans critical of the FBI's handling of both the Clinton email-server probe and the Russia investigation.

Hours after McCabe’s firing, Trump attacks him on Twitter

President Trump tweeted gleefully about Andrew McCabe’s firing hours after it was announced Friday evening. The Justice Department rejected an appeal from the former FBI deputy director that would have allowed him to retire on Sunday.

In an interview shortly after his firing, McCabe said his treatment by Trump was directly connected to the special counsel’s investigation, for which he is a potential witness.

“The idea that I was dishonest is just wrong,” McCabe said, adding, “This is part of an effort to discredit me as a witness.”
