This is called Freedom of Speech, which Americans cherish and pro-illegal groups have grabbed onto this as a right for every person, whether their broadcasts ever have countering views or not. Responsible journalism will address both sides without government pressure, but there have been so many of the irresponsible non-journalists blathering on the airwaves on most communications outlets, but government has no need of being involved and clamping down, as they have ulterior motives like making sure they keep their party in power.

Free speech, reduced too Ping-Pong at it's best.
Give me a million dollars a year and I will tell you what you want to hear, and what I am told to tell you.. Ofcourse I would have to become an alcoholic, a need to numb the senses. Principles for dollars. Hey, everyone has a price, what is your price?
Where is the beef? Too hell with the ping-pong.
Remember Ron Paul? Wow, he called the economic situation rather well, heh?
Remember Rush and Sean telling their audience that the economy was great? Wonder how the IRA's are looking to those who bought that line?
Where is the radio station talking about third party politics, or the districts where a third party could perhaps make the difference? Hows about some talk about how to CHANGE things despite the rhetoric from the two party system? Nuetral ground with aims to eliminate the elite of either party as needed.
We will sell no wine before it's time. (Perhaps a slogan for talk radio? Either side.)
Conservitism does not mean one needs to be a political hack. Call them the way you see them, then demand more information, information that is not being talked about. Drive the agenda, quite riding. Climb outside of the box, the air is fine. Remember, even Rush will tell you his show is business and entertainment, driven by what HE (?) wants to talk about.
Ping-Pong anyone? (I need an emoticon with eyes going back and forth, not up and down.)

If there was a market or demand for liberal, left-wing talk radio then believe me, it would be on the air! Clinton and his cronies know the only way to get their agenda on the air waves is to attach it to conservative shows under the guise of 'fairness," whereby they would FORCE listeners to be subjected to left-wing drivel!
This is what they do in Venezuela and other socialist countries folks!Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

I don't think we really need this "Fairness Doctrine" back.
Look at how much airtime the libs got & still get using media.
How much more do we need?
How much more can we stand?
If there were a real need for lib talk shows, the market
would easily support it as they do for the Hannity's,
the Limbaughs & all the rest.
Those shows would already be in our faces supported by
advertisers & consumers.
Surely I would listen to the libs justifications for doing
the things they do.
I would love for them to actually come out & detail
what they consider good for America & why.
Instead, after all the BS about givernment transparency &
bipartisanship, we get closed door, midnite meetings that exclude
the other half of "bipartisan".
All I'm getting is secrecy & no answers.
That by the way, is not due to flaws in radio regulation.
It is due to the shroud of secrecy & impropriety surrounding
this President & his clansmen.
Based on the amount of...rather lack of....information coming
out of this Administration, any amount of airplay wrought
thru reimplimentation of the fairness doctrine would amount to
hours of dead air.
I'd rather listen to the wind passing by my open car window.
It's about as entertaining & as usefull.

Just listening to the Rolle James show on the radio and a caller just called in and asked about the Fairness Doctrine.
Rolle said not to pay attention to the Fairness Doctrine that it was a "weapon of mass distraction." It was her opinion that the real fight would be in keeping the internet free of censorship.
