STURGEON BAY - Officials at Bay Shipbuilding in Sturgeon Bay say they have recalled 70 workers to ramp up for work on a Great Lakes freighter.
The 1,000-foot-long EDWIN H. GOTT has arrived at Bay Shipbuilding and officials say it marks the beginning of the busiest time of year for Great Lakes shipyards.
The GOTT is having new engines installed this winter that will increase its fuel efficiency and reduce its air emissions.
FOX 11's Laura Smith is in Sturgeon Bay and will speak with some of the workers who have been called back. She will have the latest tonight on FOX 11 News at Five and Nine.
