URGENT: Arrest Just Made In Gang-Related Black-On-White Mob Attack Caught On Camera

On Sunday, Western Journalism posted the shocking video of a violent, unprovoked attack by a marauding mob of black thugs who appeared to randomly target white victims in a grocery store parking lot. Police say that three people were beaten — two knocked unconscious — when dozens, if not hundreds, of teens stormed the parking lot of a Kroger store in Memphis, TN.

Our post pointed out that initial coverage of the assault by local media largely failed to identify the ethnicity of either the black attackers or their white victims. Memphis-area media coverage that we reviewed also failed to note that the shouts heard as the assaults took place — the assailants’ chant of “fam mob” — apparently referred to an emerging gang in the southwest Tennessee city.

Experts say that Memphis has become a hub for gang activity in the South, with more than 180 different gangs operating in Shelby County. One of those lesser gangs is reportedly known as the “fam mob.”

The gang situation in Memphis is so bad that in 2012 22 members of the Memphis Police Department were arrested for being gang members.
Memphis authorities now say they have made an arrest in the case — according to Memphis TV station WMC:

A juvenile was arrested in connection with the Kroger parking lot attack that happened Saturday night, according to Memphis police.

The juvenile is charged with aggravated assault, aggravated riot, and acting in concert to wit aggravated assault.

The person arrested is the suspect who is wearing a lime green shirt as seen on the cell phone video.

In the video of the black mob attack, the suspect in the distinctive green shirt can be seen kicking and stomping a young man lying helpless on the sidewalk just outside the entrance to the store (as shown in the image above).

Video of the senseless attack caught on camera has circulated widely, going viral on the Internet, and provoking countless highly emotional reactions from incensed viewers. Watching the video, one can hear laughing and insensitive comments as the gang beats up on their helpless prey.

A web search for information on the gang name “fam mob” turns up several eye-opening images and violence-threatening videos referring to the “Black Fam Mob” or “BFM”. The image below is taken from one BFM music video in which the rapper warns:

“Black Fam is the mob in the buildin’,
It ain’t safe, hide your women and children….”

Authorities investigating the black-on-white gang attack over the weekend in Memphis have not publicly made a connection between the Black Fam Mob and the parking lot beatings.
