Hunter thanks Hildabeast for CNN debate question

Received this in an email today:

    HUNTER TO HILLARY CLINTON
    DEBATE PLANT:
    "THANKS, SEND MORE!"

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: November 29, 2007

    CONTACT: Gary Becks (619) 334-1655, dlhunter08@yahoo.com

San Diego, CA - - - GOP Presidential candidate Congressman Duncan Hunter (R-CA) today sent the following response to Senator Hillary Clinton who planted a member of her campaign staff in the audience to ask a question at the Republican debate last evening in Florida. The retired military general, who announced during his question that he was gay, asked the candidates about their position on the Pentagon's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy regarding homosexuals serving in the military.

    Dear Senator Clinton,

Regarding the "plant", retired Brig. Gen. Keith H. Kerr, that you sent to ask me the question at the CNN-YouTube debate last night in Florida …

    Send more!!!

    Merry Christmas,
    Duncan Hunter
Considering the fact that Hunter received fewer questions in the debate than any other candidate besides Tancredo, he's probably grateful for any question asked him - even if it is from a Democrat plant.

We will not get the chance to know Hunter because they are all affraid of him .

If people don't wake up soon to this bunch ,we will be in trouble .

We have enough enemies condemning us all over the world, we need to stick together and leave the insults and comdenations of our nation to the enemy .

We have too many who sacrifice no matter what they think about this war .

    Hunter is the one!

Duncan Hunter appears to be the best candidate and he was instrumental in building the triple border fence in San Diego.

Tancredo looks good too, but he does not appear to be as well rounded as Duncan Hunter.

I am perplexed at the number of Ron Paul supporters on this site. May be they need some q-tips because I don't think they have heard what this guy says.

I honestly believe it's Paul's position on the war this is his draw. Without that, I seriously doubt he would even be a consideration for most ALIPACers. Just my opinion.

See, this is why Duncan Hunter kicks ass!

I will never apologize for the United States of America.

I find myself a little surprised at the hostility towards Ron Paul supporters. I get calls every day from republican and democratic party leaders. I tell them there are only three men running that I think will honor their oath of office: Hunter, Tancredo, and Paul. Get any combination of the three on the ballot and they have my vote.

This is one of the reasons I have questions and reservations about Duncan Hunter.

I haven't heard anyone 'apologize' for America -

I have heard people question the way we have been doing business and pointing out the fact that it isn't working for us.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with questioning this country's dealings. There is absolutely nothing wrong with pointing out where we might not be doing the best thing for America. That is our duty as a free country - and it is our right - and it doesn't deserve those kinds of comments.

The 'stop blaming America' type comments are the same kind of rhetoric we have been hearing for years and especially from this administration.

It's not working people. Do we want more of the same? Then keep on listening to this kind of 'big talk' and we will have the same results.

I am certainly giving Duncan Hunter some thought - but this kind of thing is not what we need now.

We can bomb Iraq into the nether world, and it won't make a difference in our problem with the ME terrorists.

There are several candidates running this year who have disparaged the men and women serving in our Armed Forces, who have said that our nation should be restrained from exercising its foreign policy priorities-even if it means that despotic, anti-democratic regimes in places like Russia, the IRI and the PRC have more power on the world stage-and who have attacked the basic underlying values of this country.

That has nothing to do with your opinion of George W. Bush, or any of his opponents. We shouldn't be kowtowing to the United Nations, or the EU, or to oil sheikhdoms and emirates in the Middle East. We have already ceded too much of our sovereignity. It started when we gave away the Panama Canal, and has continued unabated ever since.

My country, right or wrong. May she always be in the right.

There is no reason to slander or libel our country for what we have done in the past-or do in the present-when it is consonant with the values of our Fonding fathers and the framers of our Constitution. There is no one who holds those values more dear than Duncan Hunter.

Who was it that was apologizing for the Communist, totalitarian Vietnamese regime at that debate?

I'll give you a hint: It wasn't Duncan Hunter.

IMO, you're dead wrong - "this kind of thing" is exactly what we do need right now! Personally, I'm tired of the gloom & doom pessimist who can only dwell on negatives. Sure we have problems, however, we can't lose site of the fact that we STILL live in the absolute best country in the world. I don't know about you folks, but I'm thankful every day for my birthright as an American citizen! Trust me, we have a lot to be thankful for and to be proud of. I firmly believe we need a uniter who will fix our problems, not a divider who will constantly whine about them. It just so happens that I think Duncan Hunter is a uniter & fixer, not a divider & whiner!
