Lord, I would own Thy tender care,
And all Thy love to me;
The food I eat, the clothes I wear,
Are all bestowed by Thee.
’Tis Thou preservest me from death
And dangers every hour;
I cannot draw another breath
Unless Thou give me power.
Kind angels guard me every night,
As round my bed they stay:
Nor am I absent from Thy sight
In darkness or by day.
My health, and friends, and parents dear,
To me by God are giv’n;
I have not any blessing here
But what is sent from Heav’n.
Such goodness, Lord, and constant care
I never can repay;
But may it be my daily prayer,
To love Thee and obey
To love and qbey, to trust and obey, there is no other way.
I read a really cool sign today it said:
:D Be a fisher of men.... :D
:D Go out and catch them, He will gut em and clean em.... :D
It's running
And walking
And fighting
And turning the other cheek
It's giving
Receiving
It's hoping
Being bold and being meek
It's laying down your nets
It's laying down your life
To take up the cross
And follow the Fisher of men
It's winning
And losing
And trying
It's considering the cost
Remembering
Forgetting
It's counting your gains as but a loss
It's laying down your nets
Laying down you life
To take up the cross
And follow the Fisher of me
What does it mean to be born again
What does it mean to be grafted into the body of Christ
To be conformed into the image of the One
Who lay down his life
So that you and I might live
It's living
And dying
And rising
Reward and sacrifice
It's sharing
The blessings
The sufferings
The righteousness of Christ
It's laying down your nets
It's laying down your life
To take up the cross
Pick up your cross
And follow the Fisher of men
Follow the Fisher of men
Yeah, follow the Fisher of men
Yeah, follow the Fisher of men
It's winning
And losing
And trying
It's living
And dying
And rising

The really Great part about fishing for men is the Lake isnt stoned with bluegill.
Sometimes I drive too fast
Sometimes I risk it all
Sometimes I'm reckless
And act like I'm made of steel
But I'm just flesh and bones
A product of the Fall
Still I have purpose
And this I know to be real
Life is precious, life is sweet
Like the earth beneath my feet
Though I know I'm passing through
I know I belong to You
Life is precious, life is sweet
And this truth makes it complete
Knowing Jesus died for me
Life is precious
Life is precious, life is sweet
And this life I live in the body
I live by faith in the One
Who gave Himself for me
With God in my Hart no mater what...
I know its never to late.
Yesterday evening all the children around here keep riding buy the house on their bikes...heading up around the bend where the apple tree pelts the road all summer... no big deal right... We where rehearsing out side last night and I didn’t pay any attention to it.. its just kids right... its a good place to play right... turns out Sean rides by and says there is going to be a fight between two teen girls....O boy So my wife goes (runs) up to try and put a stop to the thing... try.... Guess what Guys what there was no fight
there was no teen girls But there was about twenty kids from around sitting in the field listening to two girls singing the Good Lords words the best I’ve ever heard it sound… See nobody took over the kids class at church last night (sick teacher... preacher out of town ) you know.. the stuff committees on committees is made for….
Some times kids do the darndest things, this time I didn’t have to ask why
this is what i got to hear....
To Give it all up for one thing... is something no man would be willing to do Untill YOU show him what its like...
Jesus was walking beside the waters at the Sea of Galilee
He saw two brothers were casting their nets and He said,
"Come and follow Me"
They didn't tell Him, "We'll do it tomorrow"; They didn't ask Him "why?"
They didn't save up enough to fall back on; They didn't say "We'll try."
They dropped it all! To answer to His call! Jesus was there. This was their prayer...
Give me the heart of a servant; Humbly I seek the truth.
Hold me the hands of a master; I give my life to you!
I dropped it all! Answered your call! You're waiting there. this is my prayer...
Guide me safely through the Storm, let me walk upon the water.
Show me where to cast my nets and keep me focused on the Father.
Let me catch a million fish for you.
I want to be - a fisher of men; Oh, let us be - fishers of men.
He never said it'd be easy; In fact the opposite's true.
He said that people would hunt us and hate us and misunderstand us, too.
But, what a wonderful feeling; With Jesus Christ to serve!
To spread the hope, and the love, and the peace of salvation we don't deserve.
I'll drop it all! To answer His call! He's waiting there. This is my prayer...
Give me the heart of a servant; Humbly I seek the truth.
Hold me the hands of a master; I give my life to you!
I dropped it all! Answered your call! You're waiting there. this is my prayer...
God Bless
Am I A Fireman Yet??
In Phoenix , Arizona , a 26-year-old mother stared down at her 6 year old son, who was dying of terminal leukemia.
Although her heart was filled with sadness,she also had a strong feeling of determination.
Like any parent, she wanted her son to grow up &
Fulfill all his dreams.
Now that was no longer possible.
The leukemia would see to that. But she still wanted her son's dream to come true.
She took her son's hand and asked,
"Billy, did you ever think about what you wanted to be once you grew up?
Did you ever dream and wish what you would do with
Your life?"
Mommy, "I always wanted to be a fireman when I grew up."
Mom smiled back and said, "Let's see if we can make your wish come true."
Later that day she went to her local fire
Department in Phoenix , Arizona , where she met Fireman Bob, who had a heart as big
As Phoenix .
She explained her son's final wish and
Asked if it might be possible to give her
6 year Old son a ride around the block on a fire engine.
Fireman Bob said, "Look, we can do better than
That. If you'll have your son ready at seven o'clock
Wednesday morning, we'll make him an honorary
Fireman for the whole day.
He can come down to the fire station, eat with us,
Go out on all the fire calls, the whole nine yards!
And if you'll give us his sizes, we'll get a real fire uniform
For him, with a real fire hat - not a toy --
One-with the emblem of the PhoenixFire Department
On it, a yellow slicker like we wear and rubber boots.
They're all manufactured right here in Phoenix , so
We can get them fast."
Three days later Fireman Bob picked up Billy,
Dressed him in his uniform and escorted him from His hospital bed to the waiting
Hook and ladder truck.
Billy got to sit on the back of the truck and help
Steer it back to the fire station.
He was in heaven.
There were three fire calls in Phoenix that day
And Billy got to go out on all three calls
He rode in the different fire engines, the
Paramedic's' van, and even the fire chief's car.
He was also videotaped for the local news program.
Having his dream come true,
With all the Love and attention that was lavished
Upon him, so deeply touched Billy,
That he lived three months longer than any doctor
Thought possible.
One night all of his vital signs began to drop
Dramatically and the head nurse, who believed
In the hospice concept - that no one
Should die alone, began to call the family
Members to the hospital.
Then she remembered the day Billy had spent as a
Fireman, so she called the Fire Chief and asked if it would
Be possible to send a fireman in uniform to the hospital
To be with Billy as he made his transition.
The chief replied, "We can do better than that.
We'll be there in five minutes.
Will you please do me a favor?
When you hear the sirens screaming and see the
Lights flashing, will you announce over the PA system,
That there is not a fire?
It's the department coming to see one of its finest
Members one more time.
And will you open the window to his room?
About five minutes later a hook and ladder truck
Arrived at the hospital and extended its ladder up to
Billy's third floor open window--------
16 fire-fighters climbed up the ladder into Billy's room.
With his mother's permission, they hugged him and held him
And told him how much they LOVED him.
With his dying breath,
Billy looked up at the fire chief and said,
"Chief, am I really a fireman now?"
"Billy, you are, and the Head Chief,
Jesus, is holding your hand," the chief said
With those words, Billy smiled and said,
"I know, He's been holding my hand all day, and
The angels have been singing.."
He closed his eyes one last time.
Well this one just came today from my wife I wanted to share it with all you guys.... she was teared up when she told me she sent it to meI know the love for children is the most important thing in this world and our life in heaven, I believe that all the children Hold jesus hand before the get to go to his house.

Praise God!
The road to success is not straight. There is a curve called Failure, a
loop called Confusion, speed bumps called Friends, red lights called
Enemies, caution lights called Family. You will have flats called Jobs.
But, if you have a spare called Determination, an engine called
Perseverance, insurance called Faith, a driver called Jesus, you will
make it to a place called Success.
I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME.
Lord of all creation
Of water earth and sky
Heavens are your tabernacle
Glory to the Lord on high
God of wonders beyond our galaxy
You are holy, holy
The universe declares your majesty
You are holy, holy
Lord of heaven and earth
Lord of heaven and earth
Early in the morning
I will celebrate the light
When I stumble in the darkness
I will call your name by night
Hallelujah
to the Lord of heaven
and earth
It is truly truly wonderful what God can do and the works you can accomplish when you believe
It is truly wonderful
What the Lord has done!
It is truly wonderful!
It is truly wonderful!
It is truly wonderful
What the Lord has done!
Glory to His Name.
He keeps me ev’ry moment
By trusting in His grace;
’Tis through His best atonement,
That I may see His face.
He brings me through affliction,
He leaves me not alone;
He’s with me in temptation,
He keeps me for His own.
He prospers and protects me,
His blessings ever flow;
He fills me with His glory,
He makes me white as snow.
He keeps me firm and faithful,
His love I do enjoy,
For this I shall be grateful,
And live in His employ.
There’s not a single blessing
Which we receive on earth
That does not come from heaven,
The source of our new birth.
It is truly wonderful
What the Lord has done!
It is truly wonderful!
It is truly wonderful!
It is truly wonderful
What the Lord has done!
Glory to His Name.
Some one one left this one about a year ago on my desk .... How did anyone know it was one of my favorites?
In shady, green pastures, so rich and so sweet,
God leads His dear children along;
Where the water’s cool flow bathes the weary one’s feet,
God leads His dear children along.
Some through the waters, some through the flood,
Some through the fire, but all through the blood;
Some through great sorrow, but God gives a song,
In the night season and all the day long.
Sometimes on the mount where the sun shines so bright,
God leads His dear children along;
Sometimes in the valley, in darkest of night,
God leads His dear children along.
Though sorrows befall us and evils oppose,
God leads His dear children along;
Through grace we can conquer, defeat all our foes,
God leads His dear children along.
Away from the mire, and away from the clay,
God leads His dear children along;
Away up in glory, eternity’s day,
God leads His dear children along.
God lead me among men, to bring them home to you
To know a friend like Jesus Is the Best feeling a man can share!
I have a Friend so precious,
So very dear to me,
He loves me with a tender love,
He loves me faithfully;
I could not live apart from Him,
I love to feel Him nigh;
And so we dwell together,
My Lord and I.
Sometimes I’m faint and weary,
He knows that I am weak;
And as He bids me lean on Him,
His help I’ll gladly seek;
He leads me in the path of light,
Beneath a sunny sky;
And so we dwell together,
My Lord and I.
He knows how much I love Him,
He knows I love Him well;
But with what love He loveth me,
My tongue can never tell;
It is an everlasting love
In ever rich supply;
And so we dwell together,
My Lord and I.
I tell Him all my sorrows,
I tell Him all my joys,
I tell Him all that pleases me,
I tell Him what annoys;
He tells me what I ought to do,
Hs tells me what to try;
And so we dwell together,
My Lord and I.
He knows how I am longing
Some weary soul to win,
And so He bids me go and speak
A loving word for Him;
He bids me tell His wondrous love,
And why He came to die;
And so we dwell together,
My Lord and I.
James R. LowÂ*ell, in the BosÂ*ton CourÂ*iÂ*er, DeÂ*cemÂ*ber 11, 1845. LowÂ*ell wrote these words as a poÂ*em proÂ*testÂ*ing AmerÂ*iÂ*ca’s war with MexÂ*iÂ*co.
Once to every man and nation, comes the moment to decide,
In the strife of truth with falsehood, for the good or evil side;
Some great cause, some great decision, offering each the bloom or blight,
And the choice goes by forever, ’twixt that darkness and that light.
Then to side with truth is noble, when we share her wretched crust,
Ere her cause bring fame and profit, and ’tis prosperous to be just;
Then it is the brave man chooses while the coward stands aside,
Till the multitude make virtue of the faith they had denied.
By the light of burning martyrs, Christ, Thy bleeding feet we track,
Toiling up new Calv’ries ever with the cross that turns not back;
New occasions teach new duties, time makes ancient good uncouth,
They must upward still and onward, who would keep abreast of truth.
Though the cause of evil prosper, yet the truth alone is strong;
Though her portion be the scaffold, and upon the throne be wrong;
Yet that scaffold sways the future, and behind the dim unknown,
Standeth God within the shadow, keeping watch above His own.
