    [b]I can lsten to the stories of Jesus for ever... and I Love to tell them to the children (those children will be just as still... and listen so long)
    There is something about that name.....

    Tell me the stories of Jesus I love to hear;
    Things I would ask Him to tell me if He were here;
    Scenes by the wayside, tales of the sea,
    Stories of Jesus, tell them to me.

    First let me hear how the children stood round His knee,
    And I shall fancy His blessing resting on me;
    Words full of kindness, deeds full of grace,
    All in the love light of Jesus’ face.

    Tell me, in accents of wonder, how rolled the sea,
    Tossing the boat in a tempest on Galilee;
    And how the Maker, ready and kind,
    Chided the billows, and hushed the wind.

    Into the city I’d follow the children’s band,
    Waving a branch of the palm tree high in my hand.
    One of His heralds, yes, I would sing
    Loudest hosannas, “Jesus is King!â€

    On July 4, 1776, we claimed our independence from Britain and Democracy was born. America was Born. Every day thousands leave their homeland to come to the "land of the free and the home of the brave" so they can begin their American Dream.

    Happy Birthday, America!

    RING THAT LIBERTY BELL TODAY AMERICA
    RING IT LIKE IT NEEDS TO BE HEARD

    We wrote that note to George the Third.
    We said we had to part.
    We told him all the ways we hurt,
    and what was in our heart.
    From you we must be torn.
    Anew we must be born.
    We this declare,
    in earnest prayer everywhere.

    We are two centuries old this year.
    We were born in strife and fear.
    We strove to grow as your should know,
    in freedom and in hope.
    So join us while we ring.
    And join us while we sing.
    Happy birthday, Happy birthday,
    USA.

    In seventeen and seventy six,
    The bell rang our this call.
    In nineteen hundred seventy six,
    the message we recall.
    In reaching the moon.
    In peace opportune.
    Hear our plea, Liberty
    all be free.

    So, Ring that bell of Liberty.
    Let's ring that bell of Liberty.
    Let's ring for all to hear.

    Give all I can I’ll answer, dear Lord, with my hand in Yours,
    I’ll go where You want me to go
    I will do all he ask when he calls and go forth and spread the word.....
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    It may not be on the mountain’s height, or over the stormy sea;
    It may not be at the battle’s front my Lord will have need of me;
    But if by a still, small voice He calls to paths I do not know,
    I’ll answer, dear Lord, with my hand in Yours,
    I’ll go where You want me to go.

    Perhaps today there are loving words which Jesus would have me speak;
    There may be now, in the paths of sin, some wand’rer whom I should seek.
    O Savior, if You will be my Guide, though dark and rugged the way,
    My voice shall echo the message sweet,
    I’ll say what You want me to say.

    There’s surely somewhere a lowly place in earth’s harvest fields so wide,
    Where I may labor through life’s short day for Jesus, the Crucified.
    So, trusting my all unto Your care, I know You always love me!
    I’ll do Your will with a heart sincere,
    I’ll be what You want me to be.

    I’ll go where You want me to go, dear Lord,
    O’er mountain, or plain, or sea;
    I’ll say what You want me to say, dear Lord,
    I’ll be what You want me to be.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

    I’ll answer, dear Lord, with my hand in Yours,
    I’ll go where You want me to go
    What will i do when he calls but go forth and spread the word.....

    We all get up and say a"Call To Worship" evey sunday this week thank God for the right to have a call to worship.

    I will worship the one who threw the stars to the night
    I will worship the one who tells the sun to shine
    I will worship the one who calmed the raging sea
    I will worship the one who hushed the rage in me
    I will worship You
    I will worship You
    Prince of Peace, almighty God
    Counselor, Holy One
    Lion of Judah, Son of Man
    Son of God, the great I Am
    Resurrection and the life
    King of kings, Jesus Christ
    I will worship You
    I will worship You
    My hands I lift to You
    My voice I lift to You
    My heart I lift to You
    Hallelujah

    Anyone know who sings this one ????

    Hope is ......Like the murmur of the dove’s song,

    Like the murmur of the dove’s song,
    Like the challenge of her flight,
    Like the vigor of the wind’s rush,
    Like the new flame’s eager might:
    Come, Holy Spirit, come.

    To the members of Christ’s body,
    To the branches of the vine,
    To the church in faith assembled,
    To her midst as gift and sign:
    Come, Holy Spirit, come.

    With the healing of division,
    With the ceaseless voice of prayer,
    With the power to love and witness,
    With the peace beyond compare:
    Come, Holy Spirit, come.

    To GREGAGREATAMERICAN, not only are you a great American, you are a great witness for our Lord and Saviour! What a blessing this thread is! I hadn't found it until today! I didn't make it to church this morning, but after reading through this thread, I surely feel like I have been in church! I love all of these hymns, there's nothing like them. I love the MercyMe too, it's wonderful that there are so many good songs coming out today that are blessings too. Like you, I find myself looking forward more and more to that day when I'll see Jesus face to face. All the problems of this world will fade away. I'll look forward to seeing you there!

    I;ll thank you too Greg, I enjoy this thread as well.
    I just finished reading a very good book titled "A table in the presence" by Lt, Carey H. Cash. He served as a Naval Chaplain in Iraq with the Marines.
    This book will break your heart and warm your soul.

    To the women in our Group...
    You know Guys Good Gave us the best thing on the 6th day and then he rested on the seventh....
    God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.â€
