    What do you call a reindeer with ear muffs?

    Anything you want - he can't hear you!

    O’er the hills and adown the snowy dells,
    As the echoes ring of the Christmas bells,
    Angel songs in our hearts resound again,
    Singing peace on earth and good will to men!

    Bring pine and fir tree, weave the garlands bright,
    Gladden the temple of the King tonight!
    Christmas is here! Fill it with cheer;
    Make it glorious with joy and light.

    Bring good will to the suffering and sad;
    Speak the tender word that shall make them glad;
    Tell them how, o’er the hills of Bethlehem
    When the angels sang, ’twas good news for them.

    Peace on earth! bid all strife and tumult cease;
    For this night again gives the Lord His peace;
    While our hands shall His temple beautify,
    Carol, glory be unto God most high.

    So glad hearts on this happy Christmas night
    Bring your gifts of love, make His altar bright;
    Sing glad songs that shall sweetly sound as when
    Angels sang of peace and good will to men.

    [size=150][b]Hear what glorious song of angels
    Is now ringing through the air;
    Never valley, never mountain
    Heard an anthem half so fair.

    Hallelujah, hallelujah
    Is the jubilant refrain;
    God is sending us a Savior,
    Peace on earth, good will to man.

    [color=red]Messengers of God’s free mercy
    Are now seen by human eye;
    Shepherds hear the wondrous message:
    “Glory be to God on high.â€

    [color=darkblue][size=150][b]Good King Wenceslas looked out on the Feast of Stephen,
    When the snow lay round about, deep and crisp and even.
    Brightly shone the moon that night, though the frost was cruel,
    When a poor man came in sight, gathering winter fuel.

    “Hither, page, and stand by me, if you know it, telling,
    Yonder peasant, who is he? Where and what his dwelling?â€

    Today i cried for the loss of one of the greats.

    In my younger days I mastered some of the greatest guitar pieces arrange for Dan this being one of my favorites .
    Dan you will be missed

    Leader of the band

    An only child
    Alone and wild
    A cabinet makers son
    His hands were meant
    For different work
    And his heart was known
    To none --
    He left his home
    And went his lone
    And solitary way
    And he gave to me
    A gift I know I never
    Can repay

    A quiet man of music
    Denied a simpler fate
    He tried to be a soldier once
    But his music wouldnt wait
    He earned his love
    Through discipline
    A thundering, velvet hand
    His gentle means of sculpting souls
    Took me years to understand.

    The leader of the band is tired
    And his eyes are growing old
    But his blood runs through
    My instrument
    And his song is in my soul --
    My life has been a poor attempt
    To imitate the man
    Im just a living legacy
    To the leader of the band.

    My brothers lives were
    Different
    For they heard another call
    One went to chicago
    And the other to st. paul
    And Im in colorado
    When Im not in some hotel
    Living out this life Ive chose
    And come to know so well.

    I thank you for the music
    And your stories of the road
    I thank you for the freedom
    When it came my time to go --
    I thank you for the kindness
    And the times when you got tough
    And, pap, I dont think i
    Said i love you near enough --

    The leader of the band is tired
    And his eyes are growing old
    But his blood runs through
    My instrument
    And his song is in my soul --
    My life has been a poor attempt
    To imitate the man
    Im just a living legacy
    To the leader of the band
    I am the living legacy
    To the leader of the band.

    Now is sounding from the sky!
    ’Tis a hymn with grandeur ringing,
    Sung by voices clear and high
    .

    Gloria in excelsis Deo,
    Gloria in excelsis Deo
    .

    On the plain, the simple shepherds
    Watched their flocks the long night through;
    From on high they heard the voices,
    Sounding through the heavenly blue.

    See, within the manger lowly,
    Wide the Christ Child spreads His arms.
    Raise to Him your joyful voices,
    Sing we all Noel, Noel.

    It has always been my prayer
    that our members can come here
    taking a few minutes to read these words of praise to our Lord
    If only for the moment get away from the Battle.
    Then to come back yet stronger,
    armed then with the word of our Lord.

    The first Noel the angel did say
    Was to certain poor shepherds in fields as they lay;
    In fields where they lay tending their sheep,
    On a cold winter’s night that was so deep.

    Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel,
    Born is the King of Israel.

    They lookèd up and saw a star
    Shining in the east, beyond them far;
    And to the earth it gave great light,
    And so it continued both day and night.

    And by the light of that same star
    Three Wise Men came from country far;
    To seek for a King was their intent,
    And to follow the star wherever it went.

    This star drew nigh to the northwest,
    Over Bethlehem it took its rest;
    And there it did both stop and stay,
    Right over the place where Jesus lay.

    Then did they know assuredly
    Within that house the King did lie;
    One entered it them for to see,
    And found the Babe in poverty.

    Then entered in those Wise Men three,
    Full reverently upon the knee,
    And offered there, in His presence,
    Their gold and myrrh and frankincense.

    Between an ox stall and an ass,
    This Child truly there He was;
    For want of clothing they did Him lay
    All in a manger, among the hay.

    Then let us all with one accord
    Sing praises to our heavenly Lord;
    That hath made Heaven and earth of naught,
    And with His blood mankind hath bought.

    If we in our time shall do well,
    We shall be free from death and hell;
    For God hath prepared for us all
    A resting place in general.

    There's a village hidden deep in the valley among the pine trees half forlorn
    And there on a sunny morning little Jimmy Brown was born
    All the chapel bells were ringing in the little valley town
    And the songs that they were singing was for baby Jimmy Brown
    And the little congregation prayed for guidance from above

    Lead us not into temptation bless this hour of meditation guide him with eternal love

    There's a village hidden deep in the valley beneath the mountains high above
    And there twenty years thereafter Jimmy was to meet his love
    All the chapel bells were ringing twas a great day in his life
    For the songs that they were singing was for Jimmy and his wife
    And the little congregation prayed for guidance from above

    Lead us not into temptation bless oh Lord this celebration
    May their lives be filled with love

    From the village hidden deep in the valley one rainy morning dark and grey
    A soul which wait in the heaven Jimmy Brown had passed away
    Just the lonely bell was ringing in the little valley town
    Twas there well it was singing to our good old Jommy Brown
    And the little congregation prayed for guidance from above

    Lead us not into temptation may his soul find this salvation of Thy great eternal love
