Glenn Beck Deems Ron Paul “Domestic Threatâ€

I never quite knew what to make of Glenn Beck. I can remember him calling us conspiracy nuts when someone brought up the North American Union or the Trans Texas corridor.

Other radio talk show hosts had been talking about it, Michael Savage for one. It has also been discussed on Lou Dobbs, Coast to Coast, Phyllis Schlaflay, etc.

Imagine my surprise when tuning in lately and he is talking about just these subjects, magically he has already written a book about it also.

I said to my Husband, I hate that he is going to make money out of something he himself didn't believe when we have know about it for a few years, he used to call us conspiracy kooks.

My Husband said, "Just be glad that he is finally coming out in the public about it and letting others know". So I gave him the benefit of a doubt and started to listen to him every day, thinking we had another one on our side.

Well he must of got the go ahead from the mighty on high, knowing that most people already have a strong suspicion about the NAU anyway.

They knew they had more immediate things to take care of before returning to their nefarious deeds. Here is what I think they are, discredit Ron Paul, he is now a threat to us, we can not let him win.

So now I am no longer a conspiracy nut, I am now a fringe supporter and “totally in bed with the Islamo-fascists.â€

I love reading articles like this about Paul because talk show hosts like Beck, Hannity, and many others keep spewing the rhetoric that Paul doesn't have a chance in hell at winning the nomination.
Now, I'm not saying he will win, but if they are SOOO convinced that he won't win, then why are they going to so much effort to discredit and bash Paul?

    yup.

Glen Beck as said numerous times that he agrees with Ron Paul on EVERYTHING, but the war. Now, where does Beck work? Who does he work for?

See, its not just the war - its the whole tranparency that Ron Paul wants to bring out in the government.

I like to use this analogy... Does a lion notice every ant that walks by?

They keep telling us that Dr. Paul is not a threat, YET they sure do put a lot of time in smearing him, don't they? Why do they care about a little ol' ant.

5 months ago, the NAU was considered tinfoil hat stuff - Ron has been talking about this for years. People were calling others crazy and conspiracy.... now what? Wait till it comes out that Bush has been complicit in the open borders... then what?

Notice how they are ALL PRO-WAR.. anways, check out this tinfoil hat stuff..

I'm glad Glenn Beck is talking about immigration - but the few times I watched him, I thought he was a little out of control - and I don't just mean talk show out of control, either.

When everyone is against Ron Paul - you know there is something there folks.

I just find it so hard to understand why someone who realizes that this President has encouraged, aided/abetted, protected illegal immigration for all the time he has been in office. He hasn't just let it happen, he has helped in so many ways.

He has been far too chummy with the official in Mexico - he is working on the NAU, the SPP, superhighway. These are all things that are detrimental to American sovereignty. They are a huge threat.

Yet, people will still say he knows what he is doing by invading and occupying Iraq? How can that be? How can he be 'protecting America' half way round the world, while giving it away, or selling it, or allowing it to be stolen right here at home?

I get this alot. I am not saying you do not.. but I think people interpret things. I have said this many many times. Instead of me telling someone OR glenn beck or some neo-lib or neo-con.....

just go here: ronpaul2008.com/articles or ronpaullibrary.com
read up on his stances on foreign relaitions, drugs, healthcare, war, immigration etc.... its all there. The reason I ask people to go to his sites and read is because when I keep hearing people say "he is an isolationist", I KNOW they are not reading, but just regurgitating something they heard. These are not new articles, these are his writings for a long long time.

I'm not a fan of Ron Paul, but this is just stupidity, plain and simple.

It's kind of embarrassing that the only voice on CNN-save Lou Dobbs-who espouses a sane viewpoint on immigration, and the only permanent fixture on cable news who consistently highlights the threat of Islamo-fascism, is such a complete tool.

Well, I guess you can't pick your friends when it comes to some things.

    Is that a Truther site?

Here's the full article from Lew Rockwell:

    http://www.lewrockwell.com/blog/lewrw/a ... 16852.html

Okay, after looking over his actual comments I've gotta say that Beck was actually pretty measured-I just assumed he had said something stupid, which was a mistake on my part.

The fact is that the idiots organizing the Guy Fawkes fund-raiser are doing damage to whatever cause they think they're promoting.

Whether or not you think Ron Paul should be linked to the actions of his supporters the fact is that the people who organized that idiotic stunt deserve the opprobrium they're receiving.

Guy Fawkes was the the 17th century's version of Carlos the Jackal and/or Abu Nidal.

Promoting freedom and dissent is a league apart from promoting terrorism and anarchy. You couple this with the V for Vendetta fetish and all it does is make Paul look bad, IMO.
