Glenn Beck, the conservative commentator who helped re-invent CNN’s Headline News cable channel two years ago, is moving to the Fox News Channel.

He will host the network’s 5 p.m. weekday hour as well as an unscheduled weekend show beginning next spring. Fox News characterized the deal as a “multi-year agreement.â€

Wow that is news. Whoo Hoo. I wondered what was going to happen after the election. That has been Election HQ's for the last year. John Gibson, who I love use to have the spot. But he is doing mostly radio now and may be retiring.


This is GREAT NEWS.

I'm not so happy about this. I liked having Dobbs and Beck on CNN because it helped balance out CNN (most of the other commentators are very liberal) and now that he's going to Fox News, I hope that Beck keeps his own thoughts and opinions and doesn't become just another Democratic-bashing commentator, like Hannity, O'Reilly, etc. In other words, I hope that he doesn't now become a pawn for the Republican Party.

I bet he said, I'm staying the same zany guy so if that's not what you want, I'm not your guy.

He will have a much larger viewing audience.

True, it did help having both Dobbs and Beck on CNN.

I wish Glen Beck all the luck in the world with this change. He has been very clear headed about immigration issues.

He's also been on the economic crisis for a about a year. He's been beating the drum on it for at least six months. I hope they let him have his pitchforks behind him on the set. LOL

listened to his show today, in the argument with idiots segment.
his best friend Pat Gray ( www.patgray.com ) came on and asked Glenn if there was something he wasnt telling pat. and he said no, that things just happened and that he had not signed the paperwork OR seen the contract when the news broke on drudge

I get his news letter email and he announced it today in his email.
