Inconsistencies emerge in Kavanaugh accusations, with hearing in doubt

Christine Blasey Ford's allegation that Brett Kavanaugh tried to force himself on her when they were teens has thrown his Supreme Court nomination into doubt. But as senators spar over the terms for a new hearing which may or may not happen, inconsistencies in the story have emerged that could embolden Kavanaugh's defenders.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley has given Ford until Friday morning to say whether she will testify next week. Ford first aired her accusations in a Washington Post story over the weekend but has not spoken publicly about them since. Absent another statement or appearance, questions about the account have swirled on Capitol Hill.

"There are an awful lot of questions, inconsistencies, gaps, and that's why to be fair to both, we need to know what happened," Maine Sen. Susan Collins, a key Republican vote, told reporters this week.

Among those are therapist notes from 2012 that Ford gave to the Washington Post to corroborate her claim. Those notes, though, reportedly say four boys – not two, as Ford claims -- were in the room during the alleged incident. Ford told the newspaper this was an error by the therapist.

Ford, who has acknowledged she can’t remember some details from the incident decades ago, has said she was reluctant to come forward and only did so because her hand was forced by the media.

“As you know, earlier this summer, Dr. Ford sought to tell her story, in confidence, so that lawmakers would have a fuller understanding of Brett Kavanaugh’s character and history,” Ford’s attorneys wrote in a letter to the Judiciary Committee this week. “Only after the details of her experience were leaked did Dr. Ford make the reluctant decision to come forward publicly.”

But that claim of reluctance has raised questions about why Ford hired a well-known sexual harassment attorney and took a polygraph test ahead of time if she wasn’t prepared to make the public allegation.

“If Ms. Ford really did not want to come forward, never intended to come forward, never planned to come forward, why did she pay for a polygraph in August and why did she hire a lawyer in August if she never intended to do what she is doing?” South Carolina Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham said on Fox News this week.

Meanwhile, those named by Ford as being present at the party in question in the 1980s have denied the allegations. That includes Kavanaugh, who has emphatically denied the claim, and Mark Judge, a friend of Kavanaugh’s named by Ford who disputes the claims and says he wasn’t at the party in the question.

Another former classmate of Kavanaugh denied having any knowledge of the party or allegations.

"I understand that I have been identified by Dr. Christine Blasey Ford as the person she remembers as 'PJ' who supposedly was present at the party she described in her statements to the Washington Post," Patrick Smyth said in a letter to the Judiciary Committee. "I am issuing this statement today to make it clear to all involved that I have no knowledge of the party in question; nor do I have any knowledge of the allegations of improper conduct she has leveled against Brett Kavanaugh."

Fueling more curiosity was a supposed former classmate of Ford who posted a statement on Facebook this week saying the “incident did happen” and it was “spoken about for days” afterwards “in school.”

But the post came under scrutiny because of Ford’s previous statements that the alleged incident occurred during the summer – and not during the school year – and that she didn’t discuss it with anyone until counseling with a therapist in 2012.

The classmate who posted the statement, Cristina King Miranda, eventually deleted the post on Wednesday, and clarified that, “I do not have firsthand knowledge of the incident that Dr. Christine Blasey Ford mentions, and I stand by my support for Christine.”

She later told NPR: "That it happened or not, I have no idea. I can't say that it did or didn't."

Ford’s legal team, meanwhile, has given differing statements about whether Ford is willing to testify.

During television appearances on Monday, Ford’s attorney Debra Katz indicated her client was willing to testify before the committee under oath.

But later in the week, after the Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee invited Ford to testify on Monday in public or private, Ford’s attorneys said she wants the FBI to investigate the claims first – something Republicans reject and the bureau is not at this point expected to do.

All along, though, plenty of fellow alumni and Democratic lawmakers have voiced support for Ford, with Senate Democrats urging the majority to hit pause on the process.

"Dr. Ford’s call for the FBI to investigate also demonstrates her confidence that when all the facts are examined by an impartial investigation, her account will be further corroborated and confirmed," Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., tweeted.

Members of Ford's family also released a statement Thursday offering "full support."

Despite conflicting details, senators on both sides of the aisle seem to recognize the intense pressure Ford is under. Hazy details about an episode decades ago may be expected and inconsistencies, by themselves, don't delegitimize her claims. One factor may be the abrupt and intense response -- some positive, but also some very negative -- that Ford has faced.

“She has been the target of vicious harassment and even death threats,” Katz and another lawyer, Lisa Banks, wrote. “As a result of these kind of threats, her family was forced to relocate out of their home.”

Her attorneys said she is open to “reasonable steps as to how Dr. Ford can cooperate while also taking care of her own health and security.”

President Trump said Wednesday he hopes Ford appears before the committee.

“If she shows up, that would be wonderful,” Trump said. “If she doesn't show up, that would be unfortunate.”

(Natural News) Kavanaugh accuser Christine Blasey Ford, who claims — without any evidence — that Kavanaugh inappropriately touched her at a drunken party while in high school, turns out to have ties to an abortion pill pharmaceutical company called Corcept Therapeutics. This discovery brings to light an obvious conflict of interest in Blasey’s story, revealing that she works for a pharmaceutical company that manufacturers an abortion pill drug, whose profits could be strongly impacted by future Supreme Court decisions on abortion rights.
Corcept Therapeutics (Corcept.com) manufacturers and markets an abortion pill drug called mifepristone, and Christine Blasey Ford is a co-author of at least eight published scientific papers produced by the pharmaceutical giant to promote its pills. You can see Blasey’s name listed on several publications at this Corcept.com web page detailing their research papers.
Corcept Therapeutics, Inc., a $166 billion market cap company (stock symbol CORT) reportedly has current annual sales of $216 million. The company offers just one drug, mifepristone, which is widely known as an “abortion pill” or RU-486. Many drugs have multiple uses, and mifepristone — brand name “Korlym” at Corcept — is currently marketed by the company for the treatment of Cushing’s syndrome. Like all FDA-approved drugs, mifepristone is frequently prescribed off-label, meaning doctors prescribe it for conditions that it has never been approved to treat. It is well known throughout the medical industry that doctors routinely prescribe this drug to terminate unwanted pregnancies. It is a covert “abortion drug,” in other words.

If Kavanaugh were to be confirmed on the U.S. Supreme Court and be part of a decision that overturns Roe vs. Wade, it would make the prescribing of Corcept’s drug for abortion illegal, directly impacting the bottom line profits of the company for which Christine Blasey works.

The Corcept company even issues a strong warning about its abortion potential on its marketing website, offering the “warning” as a wink, wink message to doctors that this is actually an abortion pill.



The “warning” explains:
Mifepristone is a potent antagonist of progesterone and cortisol via the progesterone and glucocorticoid (GR-II) receptors, respectively. The antiprogestational effects will result in the termination of pregnancy.
“Mifepristone, also known as RU-486, is a medication typically used in combination with misoprostol, to bring about an abortion. This combination is more than 95% effective during the first 50 days of pregnancy,” says the Wikipedia entry on mifepristone. The World Health Organization currently promotes the drug as an abortion pill, calling it “safe and effective.” (Safe for the mother, not the child, of course.)

Christine Blasey Ford, whose middle name is Margaret, is known as “Blasey CM” on the science papers she’s published with Corcept Therapeutics.
Before going public with her baseless accusations against Brett Kavanaugh, Christine Blasey scrubbed her internet history, removing her Linked In pages and even managing to have her entire high school year book completely removed from the internet. (Natural News has now posted the recovered yearbook files at this link – PDF.) As InfoWars reports, the high school yearbook of Christine Blasey is full of accounts of wild, drunken sex parties attended by Blasey and others:
“And there were always parties to celebrate any occasion,” reads one passage. “Although these parties are no doubt unforgettable, they are only a memory lapse for most, since loss of consciousness is often an integral part of the party scene.”
The reasons for Blasey working so hard to scrub her own history are obvious: Even while she claims that Kavanaugh’s history should be researched and brought to light, she didn’t want anyone looking into her own history, including her wild, alcohol-induced party days and her ties with Corcept Therapeutics and its abortion pill drug profits.
But the ties cannot elude internet researchers like Natural News. A Palo Alto University document from 2015 (see page 97) confirms that Christine Blasey, Ph.D. is a professor at Palo Alto University and a “Director of Biostatistics at Corcept Therapeutics.” See the screen shot from that document:

Blasey also appears on numerous published studies at PubMed, where her author ID is 19888560. These studies are all funded by Corcept Therapeutics of Menlo Park, CA. They all center around uses of mifepristone for uses beyond the typical “abortion pill” application. They include studies such as:
Mifepristone treatment of olanzapine-induced weight gain in healthy men
Mifepristone reduces weight gain and improves metabolic abnormalities associated with risperidone treatment in normal men
Efficacy and safety of mifepristone for the treatment of psychotic depression – this study seeks to support the use of mifepristone as an antidepressant drug, demonstrating that Blasey is also engaged in Big Pharma’s pursuit to push more drugs for mental health disorders.



Some of Blasey’s colleagues in this pharmaceutical research include Coleman Gross, Dr. Henry Fein, Dr. T. Brooks Vaughan III and Dat Nguyen.
This P.R. announcement from Corcept, intended to entice investors, states that, “Corcept is exploring mifepristone (the active ingredient in Korlym) as a treatment for triple-negative breast cancer with a multi-center, Phase I clinical study currently underway in patients with metastatic or locally advanced unresectable breast cancer. It is also supporting investigator-led clinical studies of mifepristone in the treatment of ovarian cancer and castration-resistant prostate cancer.”
Furthermore, the company is also working to get FDA approval for mifepristone in the treatment of psychiatric disorders, saying, “[The company] owns or has licensed extensive intellectual property covering the use of GR antagonists, including mifepristone, in the treatment of a wide variety of metabolic and psychiatric disorders and triple-negative breast cancer.”
What’s clear is that Corcept is working to aggressively expand the approved uses of its drug, obviously in an effort to increase prescriptions and profits.
Now the truth comes out: Blasey is a paid researcher for an abortion pill company with a lot to lose if Kavanaugh is confirmed to the U.S. Supreme Court

According to the left-wing media which has proven itself to be an activist propaganda network that opposes all conservatives like Kavanaugh, Christine Blasey’s story is a simple case of an alleged sexual assault in high school. Despite the fact that Blasey herself says she cannot remember where or when this alleged assault occurred, we are all told her allegations are instantly credible because she’s a woman (and because it’s popular to hate conservatives).
What we’re never told, of course, is that Christine Blasey works for a multi-million-dollar pharmaceutical company that manufacturers an abortion pill drug. The company is aggressively seeking to expand the FDA-approved applications of its drugs to encompass cancer, depression treatment and very likely abortion itself. Thus, the financial future of this company could be heavily impacted by abortion remaining legal in the United States.
Brett Kavanaugh is widely feared by Democrats because they believe he may be a pivotal decision maker that could theoretically overturn Roe vs. Wade, the Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion nationwide. Notably, this decision was never debated in Congress, and Congress passed no law legalizing abortion. Over the years, Democrats have found that their cultural demands are very often rejected by the due process of lawmakers, and Democrats have come to rely heavily on Supreme Court decisions to achieve their demanded goals of legalized abortion, legalized gay marriage, legalized Obamacare and other issues which cannot withstand the scrutiny of reasoned debated by lawmakers. Thus, the Supreme Court has been the Democrats’ “hammer” to drive through its priority achievements, even when Congress would reject such ideas.
Now, having Kavanaugh on the court represents a dire threat, they believe, to abortion “rights.” In turn, this represents a threat to Corcept Therapeutics, the drug company at which Christine Blasey has worked for years, helping to produce research that expands the company’s market reach and drug applications.
Now it’s all suddenly clear: Christine Blasey fabricated false allegations against Kavanaugh to protect her job and her employer’s profits

Now it all becomes clear: Christine Blasey clearly fabricated the false allegations against Kavanaugh in order to protect her own income and profits coming from an abortion pill drug company whose future may be impacted by Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the court. Blasey’s accusation flies in the face of literally hundreds of other men and women who have personally endorsed Kavanaugh as one of the most respectful, ethical and gentlemanly individuals they’ve ever met.
Now we know why Blasey’s accusation against Kavanaugh is so out of character for Kavanaugh: Because Blasey has a financial motivation to defeat Kavanaugh and keep him off the U.S. Supreme Court.
After all, potentially billions of dollars in Corcept profits are on the line. And Blasey has the advantage of being able to level a hazy, baseless allegation that is impossible to refute and impossible to investigate (which is why even the FBI has refused to launch an investigation into the alleged incident).

Some media outlets are using social media to beat the bushes trying to find other women to accuse Judge Kavanaugh of...something.

It's not unheard of. Ten years ago, porn magnate Larry Flynt dangled a reward of $1 million to anyone who came forward claiming to have had sex with Republicans.
There doesn't appear to be a bounty, but if your story is good enough, I'm sure the media outlets can arrange something.
Washington Examiner:

"Hi ladies, I'm Holton class of 1991 and an investigative producer/reporter for ABC National News. I would really appreciate any leads on Kavanaugh," posted Lauren Pearle. She added, "Hopefully, the truth will emerge."
Kavanaugh's accuser, Professor Christine Blasey Ford, went to Holton-Arms when she claims a drunken Kavanaugh molested her at a private party when he was a student in the early 1980s at Georgetown Prep less than 10 miles away from Holton-Arms. Kavanaugh has forcefully denied the charges, and his friends have also said they never saw him do anything wrong.
In another Facebook post, Holton-Arms alum Maggie Quiroga Mainor wrote, "If you have any connections from back in 1978 to 1982, please contact ASAP. I'm in touch w(i)th WaPo and other papers who want to support Dr. Ford."
A third Holton-Arms alum, Sabah Fatima, wrote on Facebook, "Hi! I'm looking for Cristina King Miranda. My very dear friend from childhood, Amna Nawaz, is at PBS newshour and would love to talk to her."
She added, "As the mob closes around Dr. Ford, as she goes into hiding, as her life changes forever, please do everything you can to ensure justice is done."
On her Facebook page, Nawaz posted an unsigned note from a former pal of Ford who said the alleged incident "was spoken about for days afterwards in school."

I'm sure other efforts to dig up dirt on Kavanaugh are intense. Anyone who might have met Kavanaugh in the hallway or seen him at a party is being mined for information.
The media will tell us they're "just doing their jobs." Well, maybe. And maybe they're doing their damnedest to assist liberals and Democrats in their efforts to deny the nomination to someone who by most reports is a decent man, brilliant legal mind, and fair judge.

This whole thing is absolutely ridiculous. Unless something new magically appears, there has been absolutely nothing to imply guilt. This Democrat and accuser stall tactic is beyond anything I've ever seen. This whole thing has been politicized without one single iota of evidence to indicate guilt. Why did I know they would be scrubbed? Because if roles were reversed, and Christine Blasey Ford had been nominated for the Supreme Court by President Trump, the headline by the resistance would be this:

Wow. And we’re supposed to believe her story about Judge Kavanaugh?
The yearbooks, Inforwars’ Paul Joseph Watson writes, cover Ford’s sophomore, junior, and senior years – the time she claims the Kavanaugh assault occurred – and they “portray a debauched environment of constant binge drinking and partying.”
As the blog noted, the scenes depicted in the yearbooks “are a testament to the incredible power these girls had over their teachers, parents, and the boys of Georgetown Prep, Landon, and other schools in the area.”
Kavanaugh attended Georgetown Prep.
For the record, Blasey Ford has said she can’t remember what ought to be key details for someone who really did suffer such an allegedly horrific attack – such as where the party took place, who was there, and the exact date (or even a ballpark date). ‘Pass-Out’ parties?

The yearbooks contain some pretty salacious details that “Chrissy” Blasey Ford appeared to have also taken part in.
“Lastly one cannot fail to mention the climax of the junior social scene, the party,” reads one entry. “Striving to extend our educational experience beyond the confines of the classroom, we played such intellectually stimulating games as Quarters, Mexican Dice, and everyone’s favorite, Pass-Out, which usually resulted from the aforementioned two.”
Another entry talks about how “loss of consciousness” at these kinds of parties most often resulted in a lack of remembering specifics.
“And there were always parties to celebrate any occasion,” says an entry. “Although these parties are no doubt unforgettable, they are only a memory lapse for most, since loss of consciousness is often an integral part of the party scene.”
An entry from Crissy Blasey’s senior year talks about how girls from her school would act like sexual predators on the prowl for younger boys.
“Other seniors preferred to expand their horizons and date younger men, usually sophomores, who could bring the vitality of freshness and innocence to a relationship,” said the entry.
Mind you, these youngsters weren’t “men,” they were teen boys and barely that.
Another passage, Watson notes, mentions a girl named Martha who often threw parties, one of which featured a male erotic dancer in a gold G-string. And other passages talked about drunken keg parties while parents were out.



“Cast parties, prom parties, post-game parties, pool parties, slumber parties, senior only parties, junior only parties – wherever you looked there were parties,” says a 1982 yearbook.
Not only is Crissy Blasey Ford’s credibility challenging because her allegations surfaced at the last minute before Kavanaugh’s confirmation vote. It’s challenging because she appears to have been immersed in a high school party culture where hazy memories were a requirement.

And in every high school there was always a "girl" like this promiscuous teenager who drank, went in the other room with the boys, and those boys had names for her!

And usually the other girls...would be somewhere else in the house and knew exactly what she was doing as she went into the bedroom!

Not saying that Kavanaugh was in that house, or that room or at any of these parties. Just look at the organizations she belongs to. HER history and her past.
