Obama’s Second Term Regulations That Will Destroy America

Obama’s Second Term Regulations That Will Destroy America

Just prior to the election Sen. James Inhofe (R-OK) did an interview with WND concerning the surprise regulations that Pres. Obama had in store for after the election. These regulations will most likely go into effect in the very near future now that Obama won re-election.

Inhofe told WND’s Greg Corombos that Obama is trying to destroy everything that has made America great. You said that Obama has a war on fossil fuels and that he seems to be doing everything possible to undermine and destroy America’s oil, natural gas and coal industries. He said that America could be totally independent from Middle East and other foreign sources of fossil fuels but Obama has blocked all efforts to do so.

In the defense industry Obama seems to be weakening US strength. In his first budget he destroyed the F – 22, our only fifth generation fighter. Obama also destroyed our lift capacity by killing the C – 17 along with our future combat system. The US had a plan to prevent missiles from Iran reaching the US but Obama killed this as well.
Inhofe stated that there are a number of regulations that would have a negative impact on America that Obama was waiting until after the election to put in place. Many of these regulations were measures that Congress would not pass, so Obama is planning on bypassing Congress and implementing them by making them new regulations. Some of those regulations mentioned are:

    • Tier Three Gas Regulations – Raising the price of gas at the pumps by 9¢.
    • Water Guidance Regulation – Federal government controls any navigable waterway, but the new regulation would remove the word ‘navigable’ and put any standing water under federal government control. This means any standing rain water, irrigation ponds and runoff on farmlands would come under government control.
    • Farm Dust Regulation – Would regulate the amount of dust allowed from a farm field during plowing, tilling or even between growing seasons.
    • Spill Prevention and Control Counter Measure
    • Boiler MACT – Controls emissions from manufacturing boilers. New regulations will establish standards that are below what many companies can achieve and financially remain in business. This could potentially cost up to 800,000 jobs.
    • Greenhouse Gas Regulations – Annual cost of $400-$500 billion.
    • Hydraulic Fracturing – Would place all hydraulic fracturing under federal control.

At the end of the interview, Sen. Inhofe mentioned the comment Obama made to Russian President Medvedev that was caught on microphone. Obama told him to tell Putin that he will have a lot more flexibility once he is re-elected to do the things he wants to do.
Remember, this was recorded just prior to the election, but listen to what Inhofe says about Obama purposely violating laws and how he will work to destroy farming, fossil fuels and industry in America.

    our More Years of What?

It’s been a day since the results have come in and after over $6 billion spent on campaigns across the country, nothing really changed. Barack Obama retained the presidency; Democrats retained control of the Senate; and Republicans retained control of the House.

I’ve had a day now to recover from the disappointment, but I’m still sick to my stomach with a loathsome dread of what lies ahead. Are we looking at four more years of the same failed policies we’ve seen in the last four years or will things get even worse?

One thing is certain, Obamacare won’t be repealed which means that Americans are facing between $2,500 and $4,000 in tax increases that Obama promised he wouldn’t do. It also means that thousands of private practice doctors will be leaving their practices within the next year or two.

The job market doesn’t look too bright either. Obama bragged about the number of jobs he created in October, but failed to tell us that one of the sectors that had an increase in jobs was the federal government. The last thing we need is a larger government. Like a malignant cancer, the federal government is spreading and in time will become so large that it will kill the country, just like it kills the body.

What I don’t understand about the election is that Congress had the lowest approval ratings in history which were around 6%, but very little changed in Congress. If the people are so unhappy with Congress, why send most of them back?

And since everything pretty much remained status quo in Washington D.C., does that mean we will see continued partisan politics like we’ve seen the past two years? Will Obama and the Senate continue to hold America hostage to force the GOP controlled House to do things their way? Will Obama and the Senate then continue to blame Republicans for not being willing to compromise when in fact it is the Democrats who won’t budge?

To be honest, I expect the next four years to be much worse than the last four. If you recall, Obama told the Russians to wait till his second term when he won’t have to worry about being re-elected and he will have a lot more flexibility. I see us losing more freedoms, paying much higher taxes, and America will become a Muslim controlled nation. Christians will be openly persecuted for preaching and living their faith. And in the end, America as we KNEW it will no longer exist.

Is It Mourning in America or Morning in America?

After the election results, I’m tempted to say, “Well, it was a great country, while it lasted.” Someone quipped they could picture a gravestone: “The United States of America. Born July 4, 1776. Died, November 6, 2012.”
But the election results didn’t take God by surprise. He once said, “Put not your trust in princes.” Meaning, don’t put your confidence in politicians. Even the good ones can let you down.

The results appear to be very bad for traditional values. Abortion rights were upheld, virtually in every case. For the first time to my knowledge, same sex marriage won in three states — Maine, Maryland, and Washington. Usually, same sex marriage has been imposed on the people (despite their voting against it) through judicial fiat.

Where were the churches? Where were the values-voters? Clearly, there is a great deal of education that needs to take place.

The economy was such a critical issue in the election, but even there the vote seemed to go toward more bloated government. Apparently, 47 percent of the country relies heavily on government subsidies. Some of these, such as Social Security, they themselves have paid into. In other cases, they have not. I guess the 53 percent who work had better work harder now to help feed their own families and others too.

George Washington once warned the nation about getting into heavy debt. In his Farewell Address, he wrote, “As a very important source of strength and security, cherish public credit. One method of preserving it is to use it as sparingly as possible, avoiding occasions of expense by cultivating peace, but remembering also that timely disbursements to prepare for danger frequently prevent much greater disbursements to repel it….” In sum, we should have credit available to us when necessary — but go into debt as seldom as possible.

And Washington added that we should be “avoiding likewise the accumulation of debt, not only by shunning occasions of expense, but by vigorous exertion in time of peace to discharge the debts which unavoidable wars may have occasioned, not ungenerously throwing upon posterity the burden which we ourselves ought to bear.”
This is a lesson we need to heed, but are not doing so at present. When the president took office, the nation owed nearly $10 trillion. Yet in less than four years that number has shot up to $16 trillion. How can that possibly be paid off? As Washington put it, we are “ungenerously throwing upon posterity [our children and grandchildren] the burden,” which we ought to pay ourselves.

I’ll never forget what a conservative talk host once said about conservatism and liberalism.

The difference between a conservative and a liberal is simple: “The conservative believes that you are best qualified to take care of you and your family. The liberal believes that the government is best qualified to take care of you and your family.”
    * * * * *
My wife (who grew up in Norway) said she thinks a big reason for the voting results were decades and decades of godless education in the public schools. She may be right.
Ann Coulter said this to me in an interview I did with her about five years ago: “What the government schools do — it is the left’s madrassas, and they propagandize to the children, six hours a day, 12 years of the child’s life. I would give them [i.e., the Left] the presidency, the House, the Senate, if we could have children for six hours a day to give them our religion. But no, no. That used to be the purpose of school, oddly enough, to teach biblical truths. No, that is absolutely prohibited. Now, it is baptism; it’s six hours a day being brainwashed into the liberal religion.”
The biggest losers in Tuesday’s election? The unborn. Probably millions of unborn babies will die because of Tuesday’s election results. They will be denied the fundamental “right to life” theoretically guaranteed in our nation’s birth certificate, The Declaration of Independence.
Tragically there will be millions of women deceived into thinking that abortion is a solution to their unwanted pregnancy. They’ll have one, only to regret it for the rest of their lives. (Some of the most ardent pro-life advocates today are women who have had abortions. They often volunteer untold hours in pro-life pregnancy centers.)
Even Thomas Jefferson once observed — and you can see this chiseled in stone at the Jefferson Memorial: “I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that his justice cannot sleep forever.”

My GOP Proposal for the Next Four Years: Comply with Democrats 100 Percent

posted on November 8, 2012 by Chris Graham

Read more: My GOP Proposal for the Next Four Years: Comply with Democrats 100 Percent

The stock-market’s plummet the day after President Obama was re-elected is the perfect symbol for what is to become of America over the next four years.
Obama not only beat Mitt Romney in Electoral College votes, but he did so handily (303 to 206). It appears that, at least for the time being, Americans are not ready to adopt conservative principles. That’s just the way it is.
Conservatives can use this to their advantage, however, and if they hope to have any influence in the future, they must. Otherwise this entitlement society, this kleptocracy, this highest national debt in the history of human civilization–in short, far-left progressivism–is here to stay. Conservatism’s only hope right now is for the Republicans in Congress to move out of the way and let Obama and his fellows do what they want.
It sounds like suicide, but it really is our only chance.
Now that Obama has no election to worry about, a fact that his senior adviser was eager to tell his dissenters on Election Day, he is going to reveal who he truly is. He has nothing to hide about his agenda now. He will reveal it slowly over perhaps the next year or year and a half so that his followers don’t immediately jump out of the boiling water, but if you thought Obama was extreme, you haven’t seen extreme yet.
Let him be extreme. Let him be himself. Let him tarnish his own legacy. If Republicans prevent Obama from being himself–that is, enacting the policies he wants in place–the majority of Americans, the ones who voted for him a second time, will have no reason not to vote for a similar candidate in the future.

Do not misunderstand. This does not mean we abandon our conservatism; it simply means stepping aside and letting the Democratic Party self-destruct.
Take, for example, the ever-deepening Benghazi scandal. We must continue pursuit of the truth behind Obama’s cover-up, but instead of commencing impeachment proceedings that doubtless would be warranted when all is revealed, Republicans should simply hold a press conference, or perhaps hold a nationally televised public gathering on the Mall, in which the details of the scandal are revealed in full. It would be a mass public shaming of the President, a far-reaching revelation of his corruption, and voters would realize the true nature of the man they re-elected.
Similarly, Republicans should let the Bush tax rates expire on January 1 of this upcoming year. They should let it be publicly known that they oppose the tax increase on principle and that if they had it their way, the rates would remain the same, “But,” they should say, “this is what the Democrats are asking for, so it’s what the Democrats will get. We will not stand in the way of Democrats raising your taxes.” By telling the public that we are opposed to raising taxes, but that we’re just going to let Democrats do what they want, the public will know that whatever are the consequences will be the result of Democratic policy. So let the Bush tax rates expire. The public will place the blame for the ensuing calamity squarely on the Democrats’ shoulders.
Likewise with oil exploration. Democrats don’t want us to drill, Democrats want to pass legislation preventing us from drilling, fine. Republicans should make it publicly known that they will comply fully with Democrats in whatever they want to do with regard to oil, but that they still believe Democrats are wrong. Get it on record like that. And then when gas reaches $6.00 a gallon nationwide, the public will understand it is by no doing of the Republicans.
Americans have unwittingly decided to double down on the worst thing that could happen to America. It is what they want. Letting them feel the natural consequences of their decision by Republican compliance with Obama and the Democrats would be the best thing that could happen to America, and I strongly urge all conservatives who read this to spread the message.
