Harvard Thought Police to Require Mandatory “Power and Privilege” Indoctrination

Posted on 15 May, 2014 by Rick Wells

While an argument could be made that virtually any college in America was long ago taken over by the liberal cabal, Harvard has announced that they are taking the next step. They are formalizing what may well become the model by which the thought police of America mold and shape young minds into good little liberals for many years to come.
The administration at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government announced that they will be incorporating a “mandatory power and privilege training” into its orientation.
For some reason, those developing the program are energized by the prospect of mandatory thought training. The group revealed the program on Tumblr saying, “We have exciting news to share — the administration has officially expressed its desire to collaborate with us on designing a privilege training component for Orientation week for every HKS degree program!”
They describe the program as “A mandatory power and privilege training that examines components of race, gender, socioeconomic class, sexual orientation, ability, religion, international status, and power differentials for every incoming HKS student starting August 2014.”
But it gets better, the post goes on to state that the group putting the acceptable thought program control together, ironically named, “Speak Out,” will be meeting with the Dean to obtain funding this week and plans to “make sure this training is institutionalized across school.”
You never know where some independent thought might creep in and any liberal institution worth its salt has to effectively inoculate itself against all possible thought contamination.
According to the young authoritarians, the mandatory training based its legitimacy upon the trendy buzz topic of “privilege.” They posted, “The exercise of public leadership … requires an honest assessment of structural power dynamics, of in-group and out-group dynamics, and of privilege.”
Sure it does, but a mandatory program is overkill. They could accomplish the same end results by repeating one sentence. White male bad, all others good.
Your sensitivity indoctrination is now complete.
