(Natural News) Despite the protestations and declarations of the far-Left political chattering class of Democrats, it’s obvious that POTUS Donald Trump is not only a patriot but a president who really does want to “drain the D.C. swamp” and give Americans back their government.
Of course, he’s been fought every step of the way, by the Deep State, by leftover Obama operatives, by the disgustingly dishonest “mainstream” media, by the political establishment (which, sadly, includes too many RINO Republicans), and by his own Executive Branch bureaucracy.
On that note, the president talked this week about the challenges he’s faced, as well as the level of corruption inherent in an FBI and Justice Department that was used as a political weapon by his predecessor, and which remains a den of inequity and deceit even today, thanks in large part to the fact that the man he appointed to attorney general has been AWOL when he’s needed him most. And worse, he’s AWOL by choice.
In an interview with The Hill, POTUS Trump – who’s been critical of AG Jeff Sessions since the former Alabama senator recused himself from all things ‘Russia’ shortly after he was appointed – lambasted the FBI and Justice Department for corruption, but also Sessions for taking himself out of the game and leaving the White House without its most important legal ally.
“I don’t have an attorney general. It’s very sad,” said the president, whose frustration with Sessions goes much deeper than just the appointment of special counsel Robert Mueller, who was named by Sessions’ deputy, Rod Rosenstein.
“I’m not happy at the border, I’m not happy with numerous things, not just this,” POTUS noted.
As for the situation along the border, Sessions’ Justice Department has been using whatever legal tools are available to it to push back against states and cities that have declared themselves “sanctuaries” for illegal aliens– the adoption of policies that all but forbid local police from cooperating with federal immigration enforcement agents.
POTUS could also be frustrated with the alarmingly high number of migrants still attempting to cross illegally into the country, though some of that blame could go to the Department of Homeland Security, technically speaking.

    No need for recusal

“I’m so sad over Jeff Sessions because he came to me. He was the first senator that endorsed me. And he wanted to be attorney general, and I didn’t see it,” he said, noting that he had a blind spot when it came to Sessions’ appointment. (Related: Jeff Sessions is not serving up the justice that Trump and the American people deserve on Comey, Clinton, and others.)
“And then he went through the nominating process and he did very poorly,” the president continued. “I mean, he was mixed up and confused, and people that worked with him for, you know, a long time in the Senate were not nice to him, but he was giving very confusing answers. Answers that should have been easily answered. And that was a rough time for him.”
    The Hill reported:
Sessions recused himself under pressure from congressional Democrats and after some Republicans said he should not take part in overseeing the Russian investigation at Justice. During his confirmation hearings, he failed to mention two meetings with Russian Ambassador to the U.S. Sergey Kislyak.
When he announced his recusal in March 2017, Sessions said he had spoken with the Justice Department regarding the decision, adding that he hadn’t tried to mislead senators regarding his meetings with Kislyak – which occurred when he was a sitting U.S. senator.
As Trump noted though, Sessions did not have to recuse himself because the FBI had determined his contacts with foreign officials as a U.S. senator did not need to be revealed during his confirmation hearings.
It’s possible that, after the midterm elections, POTUS Trump may finally fire Sessions and replace him with someone he can trust, according to some reports.
“Clearly, Attorney General Sessions doesn’t have the confidence of the president,” Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., an ally of POTUS, has said.

Kunstler: "The Line Between Truth & Untruth Has Turned All Squishy"

"Imagine the awful possibility that Mr. Trump may have to declare some kind of martial law to roust out these seditious rascals and clean up their departments. There’s your Fourth Turning horror show with whipped cream and a cherry on top."

Authored by James Howard Kunstler via Kunstler.com,

How hilarious is it in this pornography-saturated culture of anything-goes-and-nothing-matters that a long-ago session of awkward teenage necking becomes the most horrifying crime since Eve consorted with a snake in the original wayback?

One theory: having worked tirelessly to destroy behavioral boundaries in its quest to transform human nature for the greater good of society, the Prog-Left has no idea anymore how the world works or how to interpret what human beings actually do in it. Hence this effort to turn the Brett Kavanaugh nomination proceeding into a retroactive abortion of the nominee.
The Democratic Party seems to be afflicted with a vicious sort of PMS that has turned the brains of even its theoretically male members, Senators Chuck Schumer and Richard Blumenthal, into polenta with red sauce on top. They see blood everywhere, and even appear to be thirsting for it like a gang of Old World Nosferatus, or giddy Jacobins merrily geeing up the guillotine blade in a frenzy of summary execution.
My own sense of the situation is that Christine Blasey Ford’s accusations are going exactly nowhere, no matter how carefully and elaborately conditions are set for her to lay out her case. It couldn’t be more firmly established that she doesn’t remember what year or what place the alleged necking happened in. Is she going to change that part of the story now?
Surely lawyers, gumshoes, and phrenologists on the Democratic Party payroll would like to engineer some magic memory retrieval so she’ll be supplied with dates and addresses when her turn at the microphone comes. By the way, the boundary between truth and untruth is one of the lines that has turned all squishy on them. Because they can’t tell anymore, they must assume nobody else can either.

Who knows if Ms. Ford is sturdy enough for this ordeal-by-testimony. CNN asserted last night that this episode has “destroyed her life.” Of course, that claim, too, might be viewed as just another manifestation of hormonal disturbance which, less face it, women of a certain age are subject to. She can always retreat to her “safe space” back at Palo Alto U, with all the perqs and emoluments of her professorship, or perhaps even make a run for congress. God knows, California could use another victim of white male sexual abuse to advance the project of getting rid of men altogether. Hollywood would sign on for that in a New York minute.

This might come as a shock to readers, but the time is not far off when the remaining not-insane cohort of adult Americans gets good and goddamn sick of political sex bombing. Especially given this case of shuck-and-jive. Consider that the same CNN this week produced an entire segment about the shape and size of the President’s generative organ (as reported by an expert in these matters, the porn star and prostitute known as Stormy Daniels). It must be a subject of extraordinary interest to CNN’s Anderson Cooper.
On the other flank of the news this week is the much more perilous showdown between the Department of Justice (and the FBI), and Mr. Trump, the cis-hetero-white Golem who happens to be president. He has ordered these agencies to produce a set of un-redacted documents pertaining to the long-running Russia investigation, set into motion by personnel at these very places. It’s his prerogative under the constitution to do that. In turn, these agencies are being egged on by possibly culpable characters in this melodrama, such as former CIA Director John Brennan and Congressman Adam Schiff (D-Cal), to stonewall the Golem. If I were president — and I may get there yet — I’d send federal marshals into Rod Rosenstein’s office to seize these documents before they are mysteriously “lost.”

A tremendous tension hangs over this transaction. Imagine the awful possibility that Mr. Trump may have to declare some kind of martial law to roust out these seditious rascals and clean up their departments. There’s your Fourth Turning horror show with whipped cream and a cherry on top.

No martial law is needed. Just get out and vote for Republicans in November. That's all we the people need to do right now to support this President, to support his Agenda, which is Our Agenda, to fix our country and run these hideous globalists, crooked cronies, open border maggots, and all the rest of the despicable scum bags out of our government, out of our businesses, and out of our lives. Let them become the new homeless and we'll walk by and .... laugh.

Treason doesn't work in this country, globalism doesn't work in this country, open borders doesn't work in this country, betraying our President doesn't work in this country, sending our factories and jobs to other countries doesn't work in this country, so the sickening disgraceful and dangerous agenda of these Swamp Rats is soon to be .... history.

Just get out and vote for Republicans in all the races, state, local and federal in November 2018. Give Republicans a real chance to completely fix our country and with Trump at the Helm, it will get done, it will get done right, and it will get done fast.

But we're a Republic, one man can't do it all, we don't have a King, he needs a Congress and a Court System that works with him towards the same just and necessary goal of fixing our country, and to do that Republicans must have the votes in Congress to pass legislation and appropriate funds.

    It's just that simple.

FIX OUR COUNTRY. SUPPORT TRUMP. VOTE REPUBLICAN IN 2018!!!
