'Ho'-bamacare? Now Obama targeting hussies - Are You Paying Attention Moms & Dads

'Ho'-bamacare? Now Obama targeting hussies
Sexy ad campaign helps women score with men 'between the covers'

Calling all streetwalkers and sexually undiscriminating ladies: Obama’s got your hot and steamy nights covered.
A campaign called “Got Insurance” debuted new ads Tuesday hawking “free” birth-control pills, courtesy of Obamacare. The ads were launched by the Colorado Consumer Health Initiative and Progress Now.
One, titled “Let’s Get Physical,” is geared toward women craving “easy,” casual sex.
It features “Susie” and “Nate,” who are described as “hot to trot.” The ad declares:
“OMG, he’s hot! Let’s hope he’s as easy to get as this birth control. My health insurance covers the pill, which means all I have to worry about is getting him between the covers. I got insurance. Now you can too. Thanks Obamacare!”
Another ad depicts a woman who can barely contain her excitement as she stands next to a life-sized, cut-out portrait of actor Ryan Gosling. It states, “Hey girl, you’re excited about easy access to birth control and I’m excited about getting to know you. She got insurance. Now you can too. Thanks Obamacare!”
The new ads sparked a wave of comments on the Twitter hashtag #Hosurance, including the following:
- “Are you the victim of Democrats’ War on Women? Now you’re covered with Obamacare #Hosurance.”
- “#Hosurance, because you don’t think any more of yourself than Democrats do.”
- “Those #Hosurance ads are targeted to females just a few years older than Sasha and Malia Obama. Think about that.”
- “I’m enraged that you’d demean women this way.”
- “Surprised they didn’t use slutty Sandra Fluke for this ad.”
- “Does nobody worry about STDs? Ever? Hook up ‘culture’ grosses me out. Good job, feminists. Y’all are nasty.”
- “So those ‘bro-surance’ and now ‘ho-surance’ ads are an elaborate anti-Obamacare campaign, right?”
- “Sure, ladies, you may be paying $2,000 more a year in premiums, but remember the *free* birth control!”
- “Really? That idiocy was funded with taxpayer money?”
- “Everyone involved in this ad campaign should be fired. The developer, the copywriter, the photographer, everyone.”
- “Brosurance: ‘Let’s drink!’ Lady-brosurance: ‘I can get laid!’ Does this make anyone else uncomfortable?”
The “Ho”-bamacare ads are so outrageous, even a Planned Parenthood affiliate appeared to believe it was an effort by Obamacare critics to “slut shame”:
PPVotesColorado followed that tweet three hours later with this one:
Despite the widespread criticism, Adam Fox, director of strategic engagement for the Colorado Consumer Health Initiative, told Business Insider, “It’s been fun watching it all play out. We’ve seen both positive and negative reactions, but if people are seeing and purchasing health insurance, that’s a good thing.”
Other controversial ads from the campaign made headlines during the Nov. 6 Obamacare congressional hearing with Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius.
Rep. Cory Gardner, R-Colo., displayed the following ad featuring college students drinking and doing keg stands. The ad tells heavy drinkers, “Don’t tap into your beer money to cover those medical bills.”
Alcohol consumption appears to be a popular theme in the Obamacare ads from the Colorado Consumer Health Initiative:

What will be the endgame of Obamacare?
- It will offer the finest health care to all Americans
- It will oversome initial hurdles and become an accepted institution in American life just like Social Security
- Once the bugs are worked out, Americans will be grateful for what government has done for them
- It will stand for a hundred years as Obama's crowning achievement
- A rocky start for a massive new improvement is par. A year from now, nobody will remember the glitches
- Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz is right. It'll sweep Democrats into office because people are so appreciative of all the changes
- Americans will rise up soon and demand even Democrats repeal it
- Its spectacular failure will set back the liberal left agenda
- It'll be repealed in the next year

Obamacare Ads Encourage Women To Sleep Around, Drink, And More
Posted by Dom The Conservative
On November 12, 2013 0 Comment
The new pro-Obamacare ads are doing more than encouraging people to sign up for health insurance. A compilation of real ads for Obamacare question the true nature of the controversial health care coverage. The ads are so unbelievable that people are asking, “Is this for real?”
The ads seem to target young women, encouraging drinking and promiscuity, among other things.
One ad portrays a young woman holding births control pills next to a young man, all while giving a thumbs up to the camera. The ad reads, “Let’s get physical! OMG, he’s hot! Let’s hope he’s as easy to get as this birth control. My health insurance covers the pill, which means all I have to worry about is getting him between the covers. I got insurance.”
The ad also contains a disclaimer near the bottom that reads, “The pill doesn’t protect you from STDs, condoms and common sense do that.”
Planned Parenthood Votes Colorado, a group that “promotes pro-choice & pro-family planning policies,” actually thought the ad was a parody created by opponents of Obamacare, according to The Blaze.
Another ad shows to women working out to stay “smokin’ hot” and drinking “lots of red wine”.
One ad glamorizes women drinking shots.
Another ad takes advantage of the Ryan Gosling “Hey, Girl” internet meme.
Women aren’t the only target of these unbelievable ads. “Bros” are encouraged to sign up for health insurance to save money for kegs.

OBAMACARE AND THE LOWEST COMMON DENOMINATOR
By: John Hayward
11/13/2013 12:58 PM
The Colorado ads for ObamaCare shredded by Michelle Malkin today are really something to behold. Much of the early reaction yesterday was tempered by the lingering suspicion that they were meant as a joke. Here are the two most controversial ads, in their entirety.
It’s the expression on the young lady’s face that makes that one really magical. In the other one, a young lady is very happy about the prospect of having sex with a cardboard cutout of actor Ryan Gosling, with her contraceptive needs covered thanks to ObamaCare. ”Hey, girl! You’re excited about easy access to birth control and I’m excited about getting to know you,” the ad copy says.
I don’t want to read too many aspects of our civilization’s doom into a single ad campaign from Colorado, but yeah, they’re pretty much all here. It’s a bad sign that ObamaCare’s defenders think so little of Americans, particularly young women, that they’d green-light a pitch like this. It’s an even worse sign that it might work. This is a very blatant appeal to the same dopey “War on Women” narrative that Democrats believe – not without supporting evidence – helped them win a lopsided share of the youth and single-female votes in 2012.
Incidentally, since both Teresa Mull and I have written similar posts about single female voters, and she was even tougher than I was, I asked for her feedback on these ads. Her response, which she graciously permitted me to quote in full: “OMG.”
Brevity is the soul of wit, but these ads are the soul of witlessness. I doubt even the more dissolute young hedonists of Colorado are going to fight the swarm of bugs to get into the security-challenged ObamaCare exchanges and pay a few thousand dollars more per year for an insurance policy with sky-high deductibles, just because it also covers the $20 per month of contraceptives they need. Note the dimwitted hashtags and web addresses employed by the campaign: “gotinsurance” and “doyougotinsurance.com.” These people really do think you’re stupid, kids. Stupid and barely literate.
There are other ads in the same series, which contain almost equally patronizing appeals to various other demographics. The product for sale here is careless security. Sign up for ObamaCare and your troubles are over! The primary reaction this is likely to produce among web-savvy millennials who know perfectly well that the exchanges are a disaster, and people are howling in anger and fear over the loss of their preferred insurance plans, will be sarcastic humor.
There’s nothing really new about this. ”Progressives” have always viewed their subjects with this level of contempt. The con game of using sexual license as bait, to fool young people into surrendering every other scrap of their liberty and independence, has been running for decades. You’re supposed to give the rest of your house over to the State, as long as the bedroom is yours, and be ecstatic about the “freedom” this represents. Conversely, you’re supposed to respond with fury to anyone who seems to threaten your sexual liberty, even in the most mild and rhetorical fashion, even when they’re the only ones fighting for the remaining inventory of your independence. Of course, the State is now firmly entrenched in your bedroom, too. But as long as they leave some pills and condoms on your pillow, it’s all good, right?
Young people are seduced to the Left with talk of “non-judgmentalism,” but the images above look pretty damn judgmental to me. Ad campaigns like this are a test of self-respect. The creator of the campaign didn’t respond very well when women objected to his insulting, sexist message on Twitter. It would be a shame if a sizable contingent of young people lived down to the irresponsible stereotype of sex-crazed party animals who don’t care about anything except getting the most expensive “free” birth control in history.
Update: Although single young women are the subjects of these messages, it would be a mistake to assume they’re the only intended audience. Single guys are heavily influenced by their perception of what single girls want. Whose fantasies are most strongly tickled by the image of a young woman with a predatory expression on her face cracking open a box of “free” birth-control pills, standing directly over text that declares her “hot to trot?” In a similar vein looking for consequence-free sex have always been major clients of the abortion culture.
And while it might seem comical to use such dry terminology for these goofball ads, a big part of this sales pitch is convenience – one less thing for both young men and women to “worry” about. A great deal of successful marketing is based on the sale of convenience at value-added prices.

BROS AND HOS: OBAMACARE’S BREAD AND CIRCUSES
By: Michelle Malkin
11/13/2013 10:03 AM
Liberal marketing gurus here in Colorado are masters of Obamacare distraction. While customers struggle to apply through the still-broken health insurance exchange and consumers grapple with cancellation notices, these hipster ad designers are partying it up. Who cares about the insurance market meltdown? They’ve got keg stands and one-night stands!
The “Got Insurance?” campaign is the lame brainchild of two “progressive”
outfits with dubious nonprofit status: ProgressNow and the Colorado Consumer Health Initiative. Their previous claim to fame: a “Thanks, Obamacare”
social media movement to propagandize praise and gratitude for the federal mandate.
Modeled after the “Got Milk?” ads, the latest print and web promos pander to young people with pop-culture memes and entitlement-friendly appeals. The dumbed-down website address: doyougotinsurance.com. Last month, while federal and state Obamacare exchange sites 404′ed, the Colorado marketing buffoons LOL’ed. Their “Brosurance” ads featured frat boys with red solo cups guzzling beer, playing golf and celebrating government with a “Thanks, Obamacare!” smile.
ProgressNow’s Alan Franklin boasted about his coverage. Media coverage, that is: “Within the first few weeks, ‘Brosurance’ has been featured by The Wall Street Journal, The Atlantic, CNN, MSNBC, Conan O’Brien, Bill Maher and Roll Call, as well as the front page of Buzzfeed and Jezebel, just to name a few. Just in the first 24 hours of the campaign’s launch alone, #Brosurance was mentioned more than six million times on Twitter, and #GotInsurance more than 1.7 million times. Yes. The ads went viral.” Priorities.
On Tuesday, the groups launched phase two of their Obamacare bread and circuses. Aimed at young women, the ads show party gals with shot glasses lined up on a ski; “Hey, Girl” gags involving a cutout of actor Ryan Gosling; and the Sandra Fluke-inspired promo featuring birth control-wielding “Susie” and her “hot to trot” date, Nate. The caption
reads:
“Let’s Get Physical. OMG, he’s hot! Let’s hope he’s as easy to get as this birth control. My health insurance covers the pill, which means all I have to worry about is getting him between the covers. I got insurance. Now you can, too.”
It’s bad enough that these idiocracy-targeted ads reduce young people to perpetually partying boozers and traffic-bait boobs. But what’s truly toxic is the ad campaign’s cynical feint to draw attention away from Obamacare’s undeniable harm to responsible young people. Brosurance and Hosurance are trifling distractions from the federal law’s Nosurance consequences.
Insurers started dropping child-only plans in Colorado, California, Ohio and Missouri in 2010 thanks to Obamacare-induced premium increases. Colleges across the country have canceled low-cost plans for students because of Obamacare rules. Thanks to the Obamacare mandate, young, healthy Americans face higher insurance premiums, decreased work hours and perverse incentives to enroll in Medicaid instead of remaining independent and off the dole.
Meanwhile back in Colorado, the state Division of Insurance reports that
250,000 people here have lost their insurance policies in the past few months. And while the “bros and hos” circus masters urge young people to sign up “easily” on the state exchange, the overseers of the $200 million program are singing a different tune. Last week, IT expert and Colorado health insurance exchange board member Nathan Wilkes blasted the process as “painful,” “odious” and “embarrassing.”
That’s an apt description of the ruinous policies, clown implementation and moronic marketing of all aspects of Obamacare. Sober up, young America. The “Affordable Care Act” is the progressives’ wealth redistribution party from hell — and you’re paying for it.
Michelle Malkin is the author of “Culture of Corruption: Obama and his Team of Tax Cheats, Crooks and Cronies” (Regnery 2010).

Obama Calls All
Bros & Hos:
“Got Insurance?”
“Used to got, but now, not.”
Posted by MOTUS on November 13, 2013 at 8:49am
View Blog
What’s this? Bad news on Wednesday? This stuff’s supposed to be held till late Friday afternoon.
Prospects of having the Obamacare website up and running by November 30: zilch, zero, nada.
Butt no problem: we’ve got the marketing campaign ramped-up for when it does work: it’s called “got insurance?” and it’s got it all.
Guess how many people - who used to “got insurance” that they liked - “not ‘got insurance’ today” because it was cancelled due to Obamacare? To date: 5 million; forecast: 52 million before this national nightmare is over.
Which might explain our falling numbers in the Presidential popularity contest too. In a nutshell: “not good” and getting “not gooder” (that’s new postmodern-grammar, see above).
So here’s a bright spot amidst all this “not gooder” news: Lady M has taken on a new role: “Michelle Obama Edges Into a Policy Role on Higher Education” (h/t Arabella Trefoil).Michelle Obama, after nearly five years of evangelizing exercise and good eating habits, will begin a new initiative on Tuesday that seeks to increase the number of low-income students who pursue a college degree. The goals of the program reflect the first lady’s own life and will immerse her more directly in her husband’s policies. And we’ve got pictures!
Many of Mrs. Obama’s supporters have been eager to see her use her résumé — before coming to Washington, she was an associate at the Sidley Austin law firm and a health care executive in Chicago — and her role as the first black first lady to expand her agenda. While she has also worked to help military families, her best-known initiative promotes healthy eating. As I understand it, Lady M will be “expanding her agenda” beyond No Child’s Fat Behind to focus on the value of higher education. She will place special emphasis on birth control (“Got Birth Control?”),
and the new common core grammar (“Got Grammar?”).
We’re not focusing on math because both Lady M and Big Guy managed to get through college and enjoy huge success without ever having to take a math class. And they don’t want your kids punished with a math class either:
“So, like, I’m sure none of you guys ever recall me not using non-standard grammar or syntax, right?”
So they can spend $100,000 on a college degree in order to wait tables, ask if “you’d like fries with that order” or help us lower the unemployment rate and just stop looking for a job altogether. Then they can join the 92 million (and growing every month) Americans enjoying life outside the labor force. And get their free birth control from Obamacare too. THANKS, OBAMACARE!
Now where did Susie go? I’ve got a former boss who want’s to, uh..."Voir dire" her.
And I might have a current boss who would like to "Voir dire" Nate.
