Food styling to make processed food seductive
especially to children

Selling food is a huge business.

"Children spend more of their own money on food than on anything else..."

Here is how the food industry goes about creating an image of food, especially to sell to children.

The average child in the US, at the time of this documentary, saw 10,000 ads per year for processed foods. Most of the foods that are marketed to children are unhealthy foods. The industry goes for the "nag factor" so kids will nag their parents to buy them unhealthy foods.

The result: an epidemic of obesity, diabetes, and risk factors for heart disease in young children.
