.Free trade itself is not bad----and the US will NOT survive unless we have trade. However, it needs to be FAIR trade policies.

It should NOT be advantageous for US companies to pick up and move to foreign countries or let our markets be flooded with foreign goods due to:

And everyone will live in peace, fa la la la lala. Let's go plant trees and flowers and drop acid. Don't worry, be happy!

    OR

We can keep on the way we are - with our military stretched out around the world, borrowing money from China, no less, allowing millions of illegals - poor and criminals into this country.

WE can continue to protect Saudia Arabia, while they hold us up for oil.
    Same for Kuwait.

We can 'have a presence in the ME because Russia or China might decide to take over Iran - or someone' - while we give money to Russia and take in many of their people, and we continue to funnel our money into Red China.

    Now that's a plan -

If we want more of what we have, we continue to do what we are doing.

Back to a real money, our tax dollars to beefit our country, honor for Americans-no more torture prisioners, no more invasions of other countries to put money into the pockets of corrupts politicians, sovereignty for America, no more goverment dictating our private life.

No everyone will be responsible for themselves including our society in fact they will be better suited to defend themselves because they will not rely on our government much like the freeloaders who depend on our federal taxes. The freeloaders are the ones who have time to complain about global warming, living in trees on private property, and yes droppiing acid!

I am truly amazed at the number of people who don't really understand the concept of self - government and personal responsibility.

Is it an age thing? Maybe.

No, I think it's adiction to lack of responsability.

The MSM and thes Neo-Con got the people used to blame others instead of themselves to elect these traitors.
We are marching towards a totalitarian communist regime where they (goverment and big brother) will rule .
But it's not people's fault, American Idol, Dancing with Stars is more entertainning than Politics.

Could be exactly why a lot of people here wants the government to build the wall, put our federal troops on the border, and support candidates affiliated with CFR. With Ron Paul the private sector can build the wall and maintain it, maybe even with a toll on the traffic crossing the border. I know Ron Paul wants the goods to move freely in this case since we are under invasion a toll to maintain the wall may be in order. Recall when our highways and roads were all built by the private sector with tolls IMO that is the way to go, no taxes you pay as you travel!

A book I'm reading seems to have a lot of credibility along the lines of what is happening to us.

The corporationist have seem to have found a business model AND a way to implement it.

It is based on what I have considered in the past to be good sound business fundamentals. It does tend to leave one section of society wealthy and in a booming economy, as ever thing is grabbed up for their use and disposal. It seems to leave the rest in the dirt. Literally.

It has me questioning my views of the past.

It's called the, Shock Doctrine by Naomi Klein

    http://www.naomiklein.org/shock-doctrine/short-film

It explains how the government is ready to pounce on a disaster like 9-11 and push through things like the Patriot Act. Or like in New Orleans push all of the people out and rebuild it the way the Federal Government wants. Including totally restructuring the school system.

The book could be manure, like this post, but her point of view is interesting.

Has anyone noticed spanish television lately, right now on tv a spanish christmas show on I believe abc (had to turn it off), well isn't that helping them to assimilate ....actually I think it is propaganda to show Americans see they aren't so bad they have the same values.

it won't help because you can not take away the fact we are living with the ciminals everyday, we are sick of them changing our towns into Tjauna Mexico, people we can't understand, 20 to a house and their front yard turned into a parking lot....eating up our taxmoney..Sheeez I could go on forever, and I am not believeing their crap, this is probably some of Calderon's plans

I was going to post a kitten picture. Instead I posted my previous post.

I should have stuck with my original plan of the kitten picture to cool us all off.

Actually I'm kidding. This has been a really good thread.
