U.S. Rep. Ron Paul said in this week's GOP presidential debate that al Qaeda attacked us on 9/11 because of what he called a "long history" of U.S. intervention in the Middle East. Rudy Giuliani called that "absurd.".

I deeply resent the contrived attempt by the media to portray what Paul said as "shocking" or whatever. I assumed most people acknowledged this. I am more shocked that someone would think I would believe someone attacked us "for our freedom."
