Inaugural invocation to be a moment remembered!

Don't know if the following story has slipped beneath America's radar, but for Bible-believing Christians the inaugural invocation should sound much like the announcement of the apocalypse.

Follow the link below to hear NPR's recent interview with Gene Robinson, the first openly gay Episcopal bishop who has been chosen to deliver the invocation. Make sure you are sitting down...(Of course non-Christians and more liberal-leaning "denominations" are going to swoon instead of hearing alarm bells.)

First, I'd like to say what a hypocrite Robinson is by saying that he revere's the holy scriptures, yet his gay lifestyle is contradictory to it. He says his inaguraton prayers will be to the God of our own understanding (and we all know who that is). God does not hear the prayers of the wicked. I believe since he was asked two weeks ago that Obama was advised to show a "balance" between right and left wingers, plus, Obama will be ushering in unity "one world religion/government, etc".

I do think Obama uses brainwashing tactics to lead ones thoughts astray. He's deceived the nation with his persuasive speaking. Pray for our nation as we are heading down the wrong path where they are calling "good, evil and evil, good. Ultimately, God is still on the throne.

Pastor Rick Warren praised President-elect Obama's decision to invite an openly gay bishop to participate in inauguration festivities.
Pastor Rick Warren praised President-elect Obama's decision to invite an openly gay bishop to participate in inauguration festivities.

(CNN) – Rick Warren offered an olive branch to another minister delivering an inaugural invocation — an openly gay Episcopal bishop who had been critical of the evangelical pastor over his support for California’s Proposition 8.

The California minister praised President-elect Obama’s selection of Eugene V. Robinson to deliver the invocation at the kickoff inaugural event.

Obama “has again demonstrated his genuine commitment to bringing all Americans of goodwill together in search of common ground," Warren said in a statement released Wednesday. "I applaud his desire to be the president of every citizen.â€

Just more and more and more PC CRAP.

It's the constant call of "inclusiveness." We are to now include those who commit acts of perversion and sin.

Well, I'm here to tell you. I've never NOT included or excluded those who committed sinful acts. We ALL commit sinful acts. But to give them special status, to call them by name -- to almost give them a place of "honor" for their status -- that is what is so warped, to me.

Obama is no Christian. That is clear. I believe God will bring real judgement down on this man for his actions -- as He would for anyone who is doing the same.

    God Help America.

Unbelievable that he attempts to draw comparisons between himself and Lincoln.

Lincoln would have likely had him locked up.
