    AL GORE WINS NOBEL PRIZE.

    AL GORE WINS NOBEL PRIZE.

Whether Al Gore is right on all his global warming points does not matter. The fact is all the scientist agree and facts are there the earth is warming. They differ in the cause. Some of them say it is man made and others say it is a natural phenomena. Ice caps are melting and water is disappearing whether it is man cause or not is not the point. Facts are that there are man made actions is depleting the ozone. No matter what Al Gore or scientist say, right wing supporters and Gore haters are going to attack Gore anyway.

The fact is global warming does exist and it is partially man cause and partially a natural phenomena.

Where is the credible of the judge who say there are 9 errors in Al Gore’s movie? If half of the scientist say it is happening and the other half say it is not, who is to say who is right or who is wrong.

The points that are here is it to believe global warming does exist and do some thing about the man made actions that is know to cause it. We have everything to lose if it is really happening and do nothing than to do something about it and it is not happening.

So if there are 9 errors, but what about the hundreds of facts that he did get right and he got his facts from science and not his own. He just put the facts that he had together.

There are Gore haters and Bush haters and no matter what they do or don't do there are always going to be complaints.

Man made global warming is a hoax. Gore has no credibility of speaking the truth, he speaks only his version of the truth if it lines his pockets.

Don't believe a man who refuses to take the same carbon reduction pledge that he wants EVERY person on the planet to take.
He also refused this pledge in front of the Senate committee in front of Senator Inhoeff and the panel.
Not to mention that his home uses more energy (not from alternative sources either) in one month that the average American uses in one year!

Yes, the Earth is warming, but more and more scientists are coming out AGAINST the junk science of man made global warming. The bottom line is, they really don't know what is causing it.
Carbon dioxide is NOT a pollutant, and CO2 only comprises about 2% of the total greenhouse gases. Water vapor is the MAJORITY of greenhouse gases.
Plus, hundreds of scientists have now confirmed that the ice core studies originally done were wrong in suggesting that CO2 drives up troposhperic temperatures. Many scientists are now confirming that when the surface temp increases, the CO2 being released into the atmosphere naturally LAGS behind surface temperatures by about 800 years.

Gore and his carbon tax buddies seem to forget the fact that it has been proven that the Vikings were farming in Greenland in the year 1000 A.D. when the Earth was warmer than it is today.
He also seems to forget that the ice caps on Mars are also shrinking uniformly in the same manner as our polar caps are.
AND THERE'S NO SILLY HUMANS BURNING FOSSIL FUELS ON MARS.
Gore is a loser and should have never received this award.

Gee, I would tend to think that the big bright orange ball has something to do with it!

How come he did not win the nobel prize for inventing the internet? Or for him and Tipper being the basis for the movie Love Story?

Seriously though, I am both a Bush and a Gore hater and I do not believe in "global warming" the way Gore wants to define it. I believe that the earth goes through cyclical changes and now we are going through a period of warmth. Gosh we broke records in NH a few weeks ago and the one that we broke was 90 in like 1932. There are scientists and meterologists who have said it is part of a cyclical pattern. I am trying to google and find this one guy I heard on a web conference at work a few years ago-if I find it I will post it

I think the thing that bothers me the most is that these Al Gore types are never against any type of population control or for stopping all the harm to the environment that illegal aliens do. The guy who "invented" earth day in the 70's said overpopulation would be one of the biggest threats to the environment.

Al Gore lives in some McMansion that uses a ridiculous amount of energy. His dad made millions off of coal. Sheryl Crow flies private jets and fuel guzzling busses but tells me to use one square of tp. These are the same hollywood hypocrites that want to demand you live one way and they live another. Sorry I do not listen to these people for politics, the environment or anything.

Does Al Gore care about the border and all the plant and wildlife and ecosystems that are being destroyed by all the illegals? Doesn't that contribute to his claims of global warming? No-that is why he is a hypocrite and I don't take anything him and Larry David's wife say seriously.

This is like this law in New Hampshire. New cars have to be tested for emissions but these polluted cars that I ride behind on the way to work and I am gagging for air do not because they are older than 1996. This makes no sense!

I care very much about the environment. I realize there are changes going on and that changes need to be made. However, I do not buy what AL Gore is selling.

I think you are giving Gore way too much credit. He did not do this all by himself and not capable of doing it alone. He had lots of input from lots of scientist and others.
Whether gobal warming is a fact or not, the climate is changing and we cannot compare it with a billion years ago when earth was not inhabited as it is now.
Any change is climate, hot or cold, man made or natural, could mean the difference in life or death as we know it.
If global change is a fact and we do nothing, it does not matter if cancer, aids, etc is wiped out but how will we survive the change.

Dyehard, you are correct there. Gore doesn't have the brain capacity to do this by himself, but he has gotten very rich from promoting this junk science.

Yes, the climate has changed, as it always will. I believe global warming is real, but I don't believe man is contributing on the scale that the MSM and Gore followers claim we are.
The fact is, we have had much warmer climates in the past, and man along nature adapted and survived.

Either way, whether anyone is for or against man made global warming, there simply isn't enough evidence for either case to scientifically come to the conclusion "Man made global warming has been proven w/o a doubt."

Also keep in mind that these same fanatical groups are the ones who back in the early 80's claimed we were headed for the next ice age within 20 years. And here we are 20 years later and it's warmer.
Most every pro man made global warming group discounts the effects of the sun.
The sun is the biggest influence of our climate. How can one not include the huge variable of the sun's effects in any climate model?

Aside from all the scientific evidence, if man made global warming was real, I think we would be seeing an increased effort to rid ourselves of using fossil fuels.
It doesn't make sense to me that all of the "environmentally friendly" technology out there is so expensive to use, so few will pursue it. On top of this, environmentalists do nothing but complain about how alternative sources will affect the environment. For example, birds will get harmed by wind power farms. This is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Birds are not dumb animals and can simply fly around obstructions.
The bottom line is, neither side knows for sure exactly how the Earth's temperature cycles work, and climatologists can't even predict the weather accurately five days from now, let alone 50 years from now.

Here's some good articles for all to read in which almost every scientist claims Gore is using false and skewed information in his movie. And some good facts on how much energy Mr. Carbon Footprint is using.

You do not win an award for a documentary or the Noble Peace Prize just because.
For every article I find that support global warning, one can be found against it.

    WHAT IS GLOBAL WARMING?
Carbon dioxide and other gases warm the surface of the planet naturally by trapping solar heat in the atmosphere. This is a good thing because it keeps our planet habitable. However, by burning fossil fuels such as coal, gas and oil and clearing forests we have dramatically increased the amount of carbon dioxide in the Earth’s atmosphere and temperatures are rising.
The vast majority of scientists agree that global warming is real, it’s already happening and that it is the result of our activities and not a natural occurrence.1 The evidence is overwhelming and undeniable.

We’re already seeing changes. Glaciers are melting, plants and animals are being forced from their habitat, and the number of severe storms and droughts is increasing.

The number of Category 4 and 5 hurricanes has almost doubled in the last 30 years.2
Malaria has spread to higher altitudes in places like the Colombian Andes, 7,000 feet above sea level.3
The flow of ice from glaciers in Greenland has more than doubled over the past decade.4
At least 279 species of plants and animals are already responding to global warming, moving closer to the poles.5

If the warming continues, we can expect catastrophic consequences.
Deaths from global warming will double in just 25 years -- to 300,000 people a year.6
Global sea levels could rise by more than 20 feet with the loss of shelf ice in Greenland and Antarctica, devastating coastal areas worldwide.7
Heat waves will be more frequent and more intense.
Droughts and wildfires will occur more often.
The Arctic Ocean could be ice free in summer by 2050.8
More than a million species worldwide could be driven to extinction by 2050.9

There is no doubt we can solve this problem. In fact, we have a moral obligation to do so. Small changes to your daily routine can add up to big differences in helping to stop global warming. The time to come together to solve this problem is now – TAKE ACTION

According to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), this era of global warming "is unlikely to be entirely natural in origin" and "the balance of evidence suggests a discernible human influence of the global climate."

I am extremely pleased that Al Gore won the Nobel. It is good for America when one of its citizens is recognized for devotion to a cause that benefits the world and its citizens.

Prior to the Iraq War, Al Gore was very vocal in his opposition and was mocked for it. Nearly all the reasons he cited against invading Iraq have come to fruition. I can only dream of where we might be today if the Supreme Court had not anointed George Bush the King of the World.

My remarks are not intended to be an expression of support for Al Gore. I'm just taking a rare opportunity to have a little pride in an American who is on the world stage.
