War Criminals Bush and Cheney Can No Longer Travel Outside the U.S.

War Criminals Bush and Cheney Can No Longer Travel Outside the U.S.

Everyone in the world seems to recognize the obvious crimes perpetrated by the Bush/Cheney regime. Their overwhelming negative status in the world has now confined them to personal prisons where they can no longer travel abroad for public events. It appears they're only welcome in heavily-secured private dragon lairs for the rest of their waking years. But even those locations are shrinking for these torturers and mass murderers.

Cheney, scheduled to speak in Toronto with his daughter next month, had to cancel the speaking appearance due to "security concerns stemming from their experiences in Vancouver in September 2011," according to a press release about the event.

The September event referred to in the press release was hardly a public event at all. It cost $500 a ticket to attend and took place at the Vancouver Club which the Canadian Press called "one of Vancouver's most exclusive clubs." Still, the public caught wind of the event and staged a rambunctious protest calling for Cheney's arrest. The angry crowd caused Cheney to be locked in the club for seven hours longer than he was scheduled.

In February of last year, George W. Bush had to cancel a speaking engagement in Switzerland because human rights groups put pressure on the Swiss government to arrest him over torture allegations if he enters the country. Even though officials claimed Bush had diplomatic immunity because he was a former head of state, they recognized that torture is a legitimate crime under international law. Organizers of the event felt the "atmosphere had become too threatening" and the gala went on without Bush.

Since Bush left office he has traveled outside the United States on two occasions with former president Bill Clinton.  The first was a 2010 trip to Haiti after the devastating earthquake where he made a complete fool of himself.  After shaking hands with a desperate survivor he scowled in disgust and wiped his hand on Clinton's shoulder as if it was covered in filth:

The second trip chaperoned by Clinton was to British Columbia, Canada for the Regional Economic Summit this past October where Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch called for his arrest citing his involvement in authorizing torture:
There is overwhelming evidence that Bush and other senior administration officials authorized and implemented a regime of torture and ill-treatment of hundreds of detainees in US custody, including at least two Canadian citizens. Under the Convention Against Torture, Canada is obligated to prosecute individuals suspected of committing torture found in its territory if other countries have failed to do so.
That trip was preceded by another event where Bush was to attend a private breakfast at an evangelical university, also in Canada, but was abruptly canceled due to a backlash of student protests.

In November 2011, a symbolic tribunal in Malaysia made up of the country's former premier and a former federal judge among others, found George W. Bush and UK's Tony Blair guilty of war crimes. “The evidence showed that the drums of wars were being beaten long before the invasion. The accused in their own memoirs have admitted their own intention to invade Iraq regardless of international law,” it concluded.

Although the Malaysia tribunal isn't officially binding as an arrest warrant, it shows the sentiment that is building around the world for calling these Western leaders what they are: international "child killers" and "war criminals."

All of these stories seem to indicate that the circles where these murderers are still welcomed are getting smaller and smaller. Whether they will ever be actually tried for their crimes remains to be seen. But one thing is for sure, every time they venture out of their undisclosed bunkers, they get shoved right back in by angry mobs of humanitarians seeking justice for their wickedness.

Hopefully one day they won't be able to travel in the USA either. Wouldn't it just be perfect if one day the crimes and atrocities of all these criminals the so called puppets for the NWO, who come from all side's of the political spectrum, will stand as criminal poster children of that organization. Held up for disdain and ridicule for all to see for ever and ever.

    {My dream of course.}

George W. Bush, Dick Cheney Convicted Of War Crimes

    May 13, 2012
    By Justin Rosario

In the first verdict of its kind since former President George W. Bush left office, he and several members of his administration have been successfully convicted in absentia of war crimes in Malaysia.

    Yes, this is a BFD.

This past Friday, a five panel tribunal delivered a unanimous guilty verdict after a week long trial that, unsurprisingly, was not covered by American media. The witnesses included several ex-Guantanamo detainees that gave testimony on the conditions and human rights violations that were systematically carried out under orders of the Bush administration.

Former President Bush, Former Vice-President Dick Cheney, Former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld and the legal advisers Alberto Gonzales, David Addington, William Haynes, Jay Bybee and John Yoo that crafted the legal ‘justification’ for torture that basically said, ‘we can if we want to even if it’s illegal’ were the defendants. None were present, of course, but international war crime trials do not require the presence of the accused. The trial was run according to the standards set by the Nuremberg Trials to convict war criminals after World War II.
Professor Gurdial Singh Nijar, who headed the prosecution said, “The tribunal was very careful to adhere scrupulously to the regulations drawn up by the Nuremberg courts and the International Criminal Courts”.
The United States is subject to international law which makes this trial significant beyond the borders of Malaysia. Foreign Policy Journal reports:
President Lamin told a packed courtroom: “As a tribunal of conscience, the tribunal is fully aware that its verdict is merely declaratory in nature. The tribunal has no power of enforcement, no power to impose any custodial sentence on any one or more of the 8 convicted persons. What we can do, under Article 31 of Chapter VI of Part 2 of the Charter is to recommend to the Kuala Lumpur War Crimes Commission to submit this finding of conviction by the tribunal, together with a record of these proceedings, to the Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, as well as the United Nations and the Security Council.
“The Tribunal also recommends to the Kuala Lumpur War Crimes Commission that the names of all the 8 convicted persons be entered and included in the Commission’s Register of War Criminals and be publicized accordingly.

“The Tribunal recommends to the War Crimes Commission to give the widest international publicity to this conviction and grant of reparations, as these are universal crimes for which there is a responsibility upon nations to institute prosecutions if any of these Accused persons may enter their jurisdictions.”
The hope is that other countries will hold trials of their own and the guilty verdicts will mount up. This is not that outlandish an idea as Bush and Cheney have not only brazenly admitted they authorized torture in direct contravention of the Geneva Convention, but bragged about it. Nothing more helpful than having a criminal do all the heavy lifting for the prosecution. If enough of these verdicts are passed on to the international courts, they will have no choice but to hold a trial of their own. While Bush won’t be arrested on American soil, he’ll have a very difficult time leaving the country. Already he’s canceled a trip to Switzerland, due to possible charges of war crimes.

The best possible outcome is that the world court delivers a guilty verdict that sends a clear message to President Obama and his successors that the United States is not above the law, American Exceptional-ism be damned. It’s a lesson we’ve forgotten and need to relearn

Bush Administration ‘Guilty’ Of War Crimes

    May 14, 2012 by
    Sam Rolley

    UPI
A tribunal has found members of the Bush Administration guilty of war crimes.

Last week, the War Crimes Tribunal in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, found former President George W. Bush guilty of the crime of torture and war crimes.

The verdict was delivered by a five-panel tribunal that also found former Vice President Dick Cheney; former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld; Alberto Gonzales, former counsel to Bush; David Addington, former general counsel to the Vice President; William Haynes, former general counsel to the Secretary of Defense; former Assistant Attorney General Jay Bybee; and John Yoo, former Deputy Assistant Attorney-General guilty of war crimes.

The Kuala Lumpur War Crimes Commission is an initiative of the Kuala Lumpur Foundation to Criminalize War, an organization created by former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad in 2007 to examine abuses of Western governments in Iraq, Lebanon and the Palestinian territories.

Though the commission has no real authority, it carried out the hearings like a legal proceeding complete with a presiding panel of five retired judges and legal scholars, along with prosecutors, defense counsel and witnesses. The result of the commission’s guilty verdict will be that the names of the persons found guilty will be entered in the Commission’s Register of War Criminals.

The group says that because war crimes are covered by universal jurisdiction, the tribunal judgments “can be used by any government to arrest and subject convicted persons to a trial.”

After a four-day hearing in November regarding the commission of crimes against peace during the Iraq war, the Tribunal put Bush’s name on the list along with former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and urged nations to arrest the two men.

Avenge This: US kills 500, spends $1 billion every day since 2001 in illegal Wars of Aggression

    Carl Herman
    Washington’s Blog
    May 16, 2012

The Avengers has earned over $1 billion in ticket sales; this colossal amount of money communicates that the story inspires the hero in all of us.

Americans can direct their heroism here:

Because of the tremendous sacrifices of all our families through two world wars, the US authored war law into treaty status; US “Supreme Law” in Article 6 of the US Constitution. War law is crystal-clear: a nation can never use its military in armed attack unless another nation’s government attacks first. This means the US armed attacks/wars on all current nations are unlawful Wars of Aggression, the worst crime a nation can commit.

Peer-reviewed professional and independent studies conclude that the US war-murders (direct and indirect) ~500/day since 2001. Shockingly, this is lower than the US annual war-murder average since WW2 of ~1,000 to 1,500/day (20-30 million total; 300-500,000/year since 1945).

The US has $4 – $6 trillion in long-term costs for its wars since 2001; a daily average cost of ~$1 billion to $1.6 billion. This costs the average US household of $50,000/year income a sum of $40 – $60,000 (if your household earns multiples of $50,000/year, you can do the math for your family’s share). These are only the US costs; damages to those we attacked are multiples of our costs.

Americans can avenge the millions killed, billions hurt, and trillions of our dollars looted for this evil.

Justice calls for immediate arrests of obvious War Criminals.

What will you think, say, and do?

If you will be known for your choices, who do you choose to be?

Choose well. You may just have your choice.

WAR CRIMINAL GEORGE W. BUSH WANTED IN CANADA: Canada in breach of Convention against Torture by failing to prosecute Bush

    by Lawyers against the War
    Global Research, May 16, 2012

    Immediate Release
    Tuesday, May 15, 2012

    George W. Bush

Canada in breach of Convention against Torture by failing to prosecute George W. Bush for torture

Lawyers against the War (LAW) filed a report with the United Nations Committee Against Torture (CAT) alleging that Canada repeatedly violated the Convention against Torture by allowing George W. Bush to enter Canada and then failing to arrest and prosecution him for torture. LAW states that Canada has also violated Convention obligations by failing to educate those in charge of law enforcement including police, civil servants and elected officials, about Canada's duty to prosecute torture suspects—wherever and against whomever the torture occurred—when either the victim is a citizen or the suspect is in Canada.

On May 21-22, CAT will review Canada ’s compliance with Convention obligations to prevent and punish torture, for the first time since 2005. During the review which takes place in Geneva during CAT’s 48th session, CAT will consider reports from LAW and other groups. The Center for Constitutional Rights and the Canadian Centre for International Justice in a joint report to CAT say that by failing to arrest, investigate and prosecute Bush for torture once he entered the country, Canada violated Convention obligations, undermined the efficacy of the Convention and denied remedies to victims of torture authorized by the Bush administration.

    LAW recommends:
    1. Amendments to the Criminal Code to restrict the power of the Attorney General of Canada to prevent prosecutions of Bush and other foreign nationals for torture;
    2. Education and training for law enforcement authorities about legal obligations under the Convention and Canadian law;
    3. Investigations to determine how and by whom decisions were made to allow George W. Bush to enter Canada and then to thwart his prosecution for torture.

BREAKING: Amnesty International slams Canada for not arresting George W. Bush for War Crimes

Bush's authorization of torture violated international law

    Global Research, May 30, 2012
    The Associated Press

Protesters gather during a demonstration against a visit by former U.S. presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush in Surrey, B.C., in October 2011. (Darryl Dyck/Canadian Press)

Amnesty International is criticizing Canada for its refusal to arrest former U.S. president George W. Bush during a visit to British Columbia last year.

The human rights group says there was clear evidence that Bush was responsible for crimes under international law, including torture.

Amnesty had campaigned for Canada to arrest and prosecute him.

At the time of Bush's visit last October, the group maintained the former president authorized the use of torture against detainees at the Guantanamo Bay naval base, in Afghanistan and Iraq.

As a signatory to the United Nations Convention Against Torture, Amnesty says Canada has an obligation to take action against alleged violators, including Bush.

The report also chides Canada for its treatment of aboriginal people on a number of fronts, including its failure to adopt a national
plan to address high levels of violence facing native women.

The first thing to happen if Canada arrested Bush for war crimes would be for Obama to demand his release.

    Ain't gonna happen.
