Apartments, Islamic museum to be built on site of failed Ground Zero Mosque

The developer of the failed Ground Zero Mosque has nailed down “Sharia-compliant financing” for a new, luxury condominium tower and Islamic cultural museum on the same site, he and his banking partners said Wednesday.

The $174 million dollar project features a three-story Islamic cultural museum at 51 Park Place and 48 high-end residential condos in a 43-story tower at 45 Park Place in the Financial District.
The “Sharia-compliant” financing means the deal complies with complex Islamic laws that govern lending and borrowing, including a prohibition against accepting interest or fees for loans.
Manhattan developer Sharif El-Gamal’s 2010 plan for a 15-story Islamic cultural center sparked protests from opponents who dubbed it the “Ground Zero Mosque,” although it was four blocks away.

He abandoned that plan in 2011 and there has been little apparent opposition to the smaller museum or the development itself.

The project now includes two multi-story penthouses on the top four floors along with a pool, gym and kids’ playroom.

The deal, finalized Tuesday, was funded by the London branch of Malayan Banking Berhad.

The project was designed by Michel Abboud of SOMA Architects, along with Ismael Leyva Architects, and will include a 2,821 square-foot public plaza, green space and a retail shop.

This Muslim Businessman’s Plan For Ground Zero Is Leaving Americans OUTRAGED

A Muslim businessman who unsuccessfully attempted to build a mosque at Ground Zero in New York is at it again, and his plans should have every American outraged.

Sharif El-Gamal thought a mosque at Ground Zero would be a good idea, but his idea was shot down after years of legal battles. He finally gave up on an idea of a mosque but it appeared he didn’t give up on a Muslim building of some sort.

Now he has plans to erect a luxury condominium tower and Islamic cultural museum at the same location he wanted the mosque.

El-Gamal said on Wednesday that he had finalized “Shariah-compliant financing” for the buildings, according to the New York Post.

The project, estimated at $174 million, would feature a three-story Islamic cultural museum at 51 Park Place. It was no accident that this was the exact address he wanted to put his mosque.

At 45 Park Place in the Financial District, El-Gamal also hoped to build 48 high-end residential condominiums in a 43-story tower.

The condominium project would also include two penthouses on the top four floors, a swimming pool, gym, 2,821-square-foot public plaza, retail shop and a kids’ play area.

The deal was designed by Michel Abboud of SOMA Architects with the help of Ismael Leyva Architects and was funded by the London branch of Malayan Banking Berhad.

Let’s take a moment to stop and think about just what an Islamic museum would include. El-Gamal wants to honor Islam with Islam artifacts and an Islamic flag at the very spot hundreds of innocent Americans died at the hands of radical Islamic terrorists.

He knows he is spitting on the graves of 9/11 victims and he apparently won’t be happy until he gets some sort of Islamic building erected in this area. He’s hoping people will forget about him and his mosque — but we need to show him we won’t forget.

A Muslim businessman, who tried to build a mosque at Ground Zero, has new plans that will cause outrage across the country. Don’t count on the mainstream media to report it, since leftists will love this new anti-American idea. This sneaky guy’s sick goal will have Muslims flocking in to pay homage to Islam. He’s just hoping you won’t find out until it’s too late, but it’s our job to make sure he doesn’t get away with it.

Muslim businessman Sharif El-Gamal owns the property near Ground Zero that caused protests by patriotic Americans when he tried to build a mosque on the spot. That was back in 2010, and the outrage it caused made El-Gamal cancel his plans.

There’s a well-known tradition in Islam that dates back hundreds of years. After they conquer a city, they erect a mosque as a slap in the face to the inhabitants. Usually, they would take over a huge cathedral and make it into a mosque, taking away the Christians’ place of worship in the ultimate show of humiliation and force.
For that very reason, patriotic Americans took to the streets of New York in protest in 2010. We weren’t going to let El-Gamal and his Muslim buddies shame America. Now, sneaky El-Gamal is at it again, but this time his plans are an Islamic museum in the very spot he tried to build the mosque. Plans are going forward, and it’s estimated completion date is 2018.

So, can you imagine what type of displays this Islamic museum will have? Artifacts of Islamic superiority, cases filled with old Qurans, and their Prophet Muhammad’s sick memorabilia are just a few ideas. If El-Gamal can’t have the mosque, this is a brilliant second choice to piss on Ground Zero, claiming it for Muslims.

In contrast, think of the Holocaust museums. People go there to pay their respects to the victims and see memorabilia from that horrific event in order to never forget that tragedy. Putting an Islamic museum on top of Ground Zero, to have Muslims adore Islamic memorabilia, is disgusting, humiliating, and evil.

The proof is in the address. El-Gamal owns two plots, one at 51 Park Place and the other at 45 Park Place in downtown Manhattan. He says he is building luxury apartments, and then downplays this new Islamic museum as almost a second thought, as if saying, “Nothing to see here.” However, he chose the more prominent 51 Park Place, the exact spot the mosque was slated for, as the new site for the “multi-level” Islamic museum.

Leftists will be sure to cry out about our “intolerance” if we dare bring this up, calling El-Gamal out on his dubious plan to stick his black Islamic State flag right into the heart of Ground Zero, through this museum of Islamic culture.

Patriotic Americans are pissed off by this, and rightfully so. Enough is enough. Ground Zero and the immediate surrounding area is our cathedral to those 2,996 Americans who died that day, and their ashes are spread all over those streets.

Make no mistake, this Muslim businessman knows this, and that’s why he wanted a mosque there. Get this news out to all Americans, who value Ground Zero as the sacred site it is, and help stop this idiot in his slimy attempt to plant an Islamic hall of fame shame right on top of our hallowed Ground Zero.
