    Jack Cafferty on Palen

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L8__aXxXPVc

My dream, and yes I doubt this will ever happen. If Sarah would withdraw from the race saying she has too many family issues to continue, and McCain grab Romney as VP due to his tremendous economic credentials.....it would be a sure loss for Obama. The country might then notice McCain is insane and senile, and McCain might step down and Romney would be the VP. Sounds too good to be true, but I can dream

I couldn't agree more. Palin is an idiot, simply chosen to reel in the Shrillary nuts. Not only is she stupid, her personal life is so out of orbit, it serves to confirm that should McCain drop dead, America's sudden death would be certain.

McCain is a feeble, dumb (barely made it out of the Naval academy) grumpy old fool running on one issue, his tired one horse war hero story. If elected, not only is he representative of Bush's 3rd term, he would be dead from the stress in less than 6 months.

If Palin is replaced with Romney, I'll vote republican, otherwise, I will write in Ron Paul.

I don't like Cafferty either, but I was shocked at how unprepared Palin was with her response. The SNL spoof of this interview didn't even have to make things up or change the way she said anything because it was THAT bad.

What exactly was she talking about? Healthcare? Shoring up our economy? Creating new jobs? No wonder Couric looked at her like she was nuts.

    Very disappointing.

Agreed. Out of the gate, I didn't like her and saw through McLame's reason for trotting her out. Now they can't seem to find enough places to hide her in.

Either way, we are damned if we do/or don't. I'm done mourning. We can kiss what used to be America good bye.

It doesn't matter if Palin is in or out. Voting for McCain is a vote against America just as a vote for Obama is. It's time to get some fresh blood in the mix and stir up "party" politics, therefore vote for....

Remember, Palin is not a Washington insider. She hasn't had the benefit of working with issues such as national healthcare, the U.S. economy, etc. Politics at this level is a whole new experience for her and in my opinion she shouldn't be judged to harshly for not having all the answers. She appears to be a quick study and will learn.

Personally, I think not being a product of the Washington political machine makes her a very viable candidate for the VP position. This lady is snow white when compared to the likes of Obama, Biden, and McCain. Honestly, I much rather see her become President of the U.S. (vice VP) over the likes of McCain, Obama, and Biden!

    Sen. Palin attributes:

    - Non-denominational Christian. She was the head of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes chapter at her school (H.S).
    - When elected Governor she immediately had her pay reduced by 10%.
    - Lifetime member of the NRA. She will not attempt to take our guns away.
    - Supported term-limits in Alaska. Palin did not run for a third term as Mayor of Wasilla because of the term-limit law she supported.
    - As Mayor of Wasilla, Palin cut property taxes by 75% and eliminated personal property and business inventory taxes.
    - In her reelection bid for Mayor of Wasilla, Palin won a majority vote of 74% over her opponent. She must have being doing something right because her constituents loved her.
    - Palin resigned her position as the chair and Ethics Supervisor of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservative Commission protesting what she called the "lack of ethics" of fellow Republican members.
    - Palin filed a formal complaint against Oil and Gas Conservation Commissioner Randy Ruedrich, also the chair of the state Republican Party, accusing him of doing work for the party on public time and of working closely with a company he was supposed to be regulating. She also filed a complaint against Gregg Renkes, a former Alaska Attorney General, accusing him of having a financial conflict of interest in negotiating a coal exporting trade agreement, while Renkes was the subject of investigation and after records suggesting a possible conflict of interest had been released to the public. Ruedrich and Renkes both resigned and Ruedrich paid a record $12,000 fine.
    - Palin was the first women and youngest person to ever be voted in as Governor of Alaska (this just doesn't happen to idiots). The lady is obviously no "idiot" as suggested by one of my fellow ALIPAC posters.
    - Polls taken in 2007 showed Gov. Palin with a 93% and 89% popularity among all Alaskan voters. I would suspect their was a reason she garnered such popularity, wouldn't you? I would suggest voter trust had a lot to do with it.
    - Palin's first legislative action after taking office was to push for a bipartisan ethics reform bill. She signed the resulting legislation in July 2007. The lady is determined to clean up Alaska politics. For informational purposes, Palin has sometimes broken with the state Republican establishment.
    - Palin's gubernatorial expenses are 80% below those of her predecessor, Frank Murkowski. She cuts expenses whenever and wherever possible. Palin is a fiscal conservative. For example, Palin used her veto power to make the second-largest cuts of the construction budget in state history. The $237 million in cuts represented over 300 local projects, and reduced the construction budget to $1.6 billion. In 2008 Palin vetoed $286 million, cutting or reducing funding for 350 projects from the FY09 capital budget. Furthermore, after assuming office she sold a jet, purchased by the previous administration, for $2.1 million. Shoot, this lady has even refused to use the former governor's private chef.

There's much more but I think my point has been made. There is a lot to like about this lady if one would only care to look beyond the exaggerated propaganda being spewed out by the MSM. You never trusted them before (MSM), why start now? Furthermore, everyone can't be as gifted an orator as Obama.

WHY DO ANY OF YOU THINK THAT BARACK HUSSIEN OBAMA IS ANY MORE QUALIFIED THAN SARAH PALIN TO BE PRESIDENT someday? Obama ain't done nothing!

She is ONE of US. She is the democractically elected GOVERNOR of the STATE of Alaska. She is common folk! Remember what Obama said about those "bible holding gun toting hicks" at a San Francisco fundraiser?

McCain, Obama, Biden? Washington senators and insiders. Palin is one of us.

Sarah has what looks to be a decent family and a hard working husband.
A UNION man! Obama has a lawyer wife with a victim mentality who seems to hate her country.

Obama? Millionaire communnity activist who walked with illegals for amnesty May 1sy, 2006. Socialist and maybe even communist.

Like Obama? Think he is the new messiah? Germany had theirs in the 1930's too.

McCain is the safe play and the safe vote and leave Palin alone. She will represent us well as VP or president!

Is Cafferty an Obama supporter? Well, that takes the cake. Since when does he offer any credibility on the issue of Palin's suitability as VP?

She's certainly closer to being "ONE of US" than Obama, McCain, and Biden.
