Obama: Called for Imus firing last year

"I understand MSNBC has suspended Mr. Imus," Obama told ABC News, "but I would also say that there's nobody on my staff who would still be working for me if they made a comment like that about anybody of any ethnic group. And I would hope that NBC ends up having that same attitude."

    *********
Last year, Obama was one of the earliest people who called for the firing of
talk host Imus, after Imus made racial remarks about the Rutgers
women's basketball team that had many black players.

    See the quote above.

Obama did not ask the public to forgive Imus.

He did not come to Imus' defense and ask the public to give Imus
    a second chance.

No, he came out quickly and called for Imus to be fired.

Obama said that if one of his staff made remarks about an ethnic group
like talk host Imus did, he would not be working for him.

Of course, we now know that Obama's pastor---the one with the hate-filled speech against the United States and white people---was advising him personally and, I believe, he was also a member of Obama's religious advisory staff during the Rutger's basketball team incident.

We also know that Obama did not remove the pastor from the religious advisory staff until the public and the media recentlyput tremendous pressure on Obama to do so.

So, it seems to me that Obama has two standards or attitudes when it comes to firing people: One standard for those who work for him or who advise him, and another standard for the rest of us.

Obama wants me to vote for him to be President, but with each passing day, I just can't seem to believe what he tells me. mirse

I've always wondered why Obama needed to form a "religious advisory committee" to begin with.

While I could understand individual endorsements from clergy, or clergy making sure that their membership is informed of the issues, understands the voting process, putting together a volunteer effort to ensure that those who want to vote have transportation to the polls.....things like that, I just don't understand the forming of this advisory committee as part of his campaign staff.

What's it's purpose? I've looked around and there doesn't really seem to be any clear explanation of what the purpose or goals are.

The more I hear about the incident, the more I am convinced that Obama is part of an anti-American Black Nationalist movement that believes in removing white Americans from power in the Unites States and sending as much federal money as possible to Africa (even if that means raising income tax to 75 %). It is a religious cult, and if you study religious cults you will find out that their leaders will often put on a false persona meant to downplay the negative aspects of the cult. This cult endorses both Christianity and radical Islam to suit the audience they seek power from. Obama is lying if he says he is not a supporter of Louis Farrakhan.

"In Minnesota, Obama has also been endorsed by Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak and Congressman Keith
    Ellison."

"Speaking in Dearborn late Sunday night, the first Muslim elected to Congress told a cheering crowd of Muslims they should remain steadfast in their faith and push for justice.

"You can't back down, you can't chicken out, you can't be afraid, you got to have faith in Allah, and you got to stand up and be a real Muslim," Detroit native Keith Ellison said to loud applause.

"Allahu akbar" -- God is great -- was the reply of many in the crowd."

Thanks so much for volunteering to help Senator Barack Obama turn out the Muslim vote inshalla. On Friday March 29th we want to have Muslim volunteers pray at the Mosques during Juma at around 12:45. After prayer when people are socializing outside we want to have the volunteer pass out Obama civil rights literature, faith based literature, general literature, stickers and bumper stickers. In addition we want the volunteers to emphasize that the election is the following Tuesday and encourage them to vote. That way we can reach every Muslim that went to Mosque the Friday before the election inshalla.
